We each got a Thai ice tea. They serve in a big glass so you definitely get a good amount. It's also not as sweet as most places which i liked. My daughter got the wonton soup and I got the beef pho. Both were good except the pho was pretty salty. Then we ordered chicken fried rice, chicken pad kroa paw, chicken green curry, grilled chicken rice plate, papaya salad. The curry wasn't as thick and tasty of a sauce that I'm used to. The pad krao paw was tasty. Our favorite was the chicken rice plate as the chicken was nicely done and tender. Local pho and Thai restaurant my son found. Prices are very good. The large steak Pho bowl is only $10. I had the combo bun bowl and it was $12. The Pho was very good with flavorful broth, tender meat and veggies. The Bun bowl was ok. Noodles were tender and lots of veggies. The meat was over cooked making it chewy. I have been wanting shrimp spring rolls for quite a while. I saw this place on Yelp and noticed they were open till 9 PM. I ordered spring rolls at the counter where you pay up front. The spring rolls must have been fresh, because it took them 20 minutes to come out. The place was clean, and very austere. Most of the customers were of asian descent, which is a good sign. You have to hustle your condiments and soda yourself, but I don't mind when it saves me $. The spring rolls were plentiful and good. First of all, the young girl that works at the front desk is very rude. After I ordered and sat at a table, I saw the older lady working feverishly to take out the food ordered to tables and pick up empty plates from others. All the while the young girl was no help at all. When I eat at a restaurant, it's not only the food I look forward to but also the reception and welcoming environment and I was so disappointed. With the lack of hospitality from the young girl... I was looking forward to my small pho and Pad See Ew. She said little spicy, medium spicy, hot spicy or THAI SPICEY! She was not kidding, I can handle some spice and I did the medium (to be safe) it was SPICEY!!! It was amazing! The beef in the yum salad was overcooked and dry. It was bland and not sour like yum salad should be. Did I mention that you have to pay up front when you order, this includes tipping too. I guess they make sure you can't leave regardless of how long it takes to get your food. Only took a few bites and left disappointed. Curry plates are Thai authentic and EXCEPTIONAL but there are many spice levels to choose from. This is particularly welcome news in an overall small city with very few people of Thai descent. After placing our order, we waited approximately an hour for the food to arrive, and unfortunately, my order came out incorrectly, with beef instead of the chicken I requested. Inside, the atmosphere was extremely cold; many of us with coats on expressed how chilly it was as the heater wasn't on, and it added to our discomfort as we waited for our food.
