I'm still paying contractors to fix their mess several years later. Posts were cut off out of square, the gate completely fell off after the first week and then had to be repaired after they came out to "fix" it. The post holes were not backfilled "leaving all the dirt in giant piles all over my yard" leaving over a foot hole around every post and they didn't use correct galvanized or stainless hardware for the outside climate which is now obviously rusted away. The complete project has been a mess I am still paying for. Oh, and an entire panel fell off the fence that I've had to pay to repair because it wasn't built correctly. I wouldn't allow this company to build with Lincoln logs, let alone a structure for my house. I wish I could post pictures to this review. A complete horror show.

Derrick helped me navigate a very challenging situation to rebuild the entire back wall of my home and attached deck due to water damage. Scope: New insulation, plywood sheathing, composite siding, soffit, and fascia for back wall. Replaced rim joist, headers, and other structural wood as needed from water damage. Re-installed windows and sliding glass door incorrectly installed by previous contractor. Rebuilt pressure treated wood deck with improved layout. Derrick's attention to detail and pride in his work translated to a solution that addressed all of my goals and helped me understand mistakes made by previous contractors. He spent hours reviewing options and brainstorming with me as more damage was uncovered and the scope had to expand as we went. Never heard anything and the phone conversation happened April 18th and it is now over a month later and I called his cell phone and got nothing so I called the office and talked with Rachel. She had me forward her the emails and photos and apologized for his lack of follow-up. She had another person call to follow-up and while he was very polite, I was already turned off because of Mike Sanders lack of follow-up. My wife and…read moreI contracted with LaLoggia Construction for our master bedroom bath remodel and were very frustrated with the whole process of working with LaLoggia and extremely disappointed with the results. Communication from LaLoggia Construction was very poor. We were left in the dark on the status of ordered materials and when the project would begin. We were never sure if, or when, workers were going to show up. On several occasions they showed up completely unannounced. The quality of the work left much to be desired. There were issues with the installation of the shower enclosure, vanity, flooring, heat register, trim molding, and medicine cabinet. When I asked for a meeting with the project coordinator and Mike LaLoggia to review the shower issue and discuss our concerns, I was told that's not how LaLoggia Construction conducts business. The project coordinator told me to advise him of the concerns and he would relay them. Based on this statement my assumption is Mike LaLoggia is a hands-off owner who didn't want to be bothered with details and any possible confrontation with the customer. Early in the project we asked the coordinator if LaLoggia Construction was comfortable working with the Onyx shower system we had selected and were advised "they had installed hundreds of them". In talking with the carpenters, we discovered this was the first time they had installed an Onyx system. My wife and I decided to make concessions on the shower installation rather than risk having LaLoggia tear it out and install a replacement. My wife and I ultimately fixed most of the issues ourselves since we had lost all confidence in LaLoggia Construction's abilities. LaLoggia made several personnel changes near the end of the project. While this significantly improved communication and the quality of the remaining work, it was too late to salvage much goodwill. The new business manager personally finished the work himself and provided some financial compensation for the way our project was mishandled. However, it has been difficult to enjoy our new bathroom knowing of all the poor craftsmanship from LaLoggia. Mike LaLoggia never did call or come to our house during the project even though we tried to contact him on several occasions and he was also encouraged to do so by at least one of the subcontractors. Mr. LaLoggia obviously does not understand customer service and in my opinion should not be a business owner. This is the first time I've ever written and posted a review. I'm hoping my review will save any readers the stress and sleepless nights we experienced after making the mistake of choosing LaLoggia Construction and Remodeling for our project.

Ismael came out to do the free estimate and was super friendly and helpful. Tina was wonderful to work with and made the process smooth and easy by even getting the permit (at a fee but made everything easier). The crew took down our old fence and put up the new fence in one HOT day right before the 4th of July when they were supposed to come out the week after (which was a wonderful surprise and worked out great) and they did a fantastic job!! They cleaned up after themselves and cleaned up around the fence so it looked great. The main reason why I chose The North Fence was because the quote we received was very reasonable compared to the other companies we met. The other reason was because of the really good reviews and they held up to the reviews! Highly recommend!
