Honestly, start to finish, I can't complain! We worked with Alan on choosing carpet for our main living area and dining room. We then threw him curveballs left and right. We added on carpeting two sets of utility stairs (garage/unfinished basement), and then dropped the knowledge on him that we had purchased LVT for our kitchen and entry that we needed to install as well. Surprisingly, we were able to tack that on to the quote and job. I'm super happy about the cash discount offered!! Cash is Queen! The installers busted their backsides. The LVT guys were here a few days to prep (as we had flooring under flooring, and uneven underlayment). They did everything I asked of them and also presented me with options throughout the process. Because of this, I know that down the road if I change out this new flooring, the process will be easier. Very happy! They were also super clean and respectful of my home. The carpet installers were amazing! My dumb self made an error (couldn't find the remnants after install) and my word they were nice about it. (They were literally right in front of my eyes in the basement and for some reason, I couldn't see them. I felt so dumb. lol) The carpet looks amazing too! I just keep using that word---amazing. We had a waterline leak on June 12th, and the kitchen flooring was torn up. In mid July after everything dried CarpetLand scheduled August 6th to install the sheet vinyl. My wife hit the ceiling...she had a very hard time in her wheelchair trying to roll over the floor's regular surface then up and down both 1/4 to 1/2 inch drop to the subfloor. Her complaint reached Joe, a corporate executive; he changed the date to July 31. David, Omar, and Scott did a most expert job of installing the complex pattern of the floor. The floor looks great! Our flooring came in with high gloss and matte finish; so new flooring was ordered. 1st crew was there for 1.5 days on estimate of 4 days -- (and we had to pay them extra $ to sand floor because it was uneven). Second crew came in 6 weeks later (mind you, our house was torn up with dust everywhere) and were scheduled for 5 days. Wednesday night of that week we were told they would finish by close of business on Thursday-- well, FRIDAY NIGHT at 7:00 pm, they left (with breaking our toilet and the shoddiest finish in the last 2 rooms they were working on !!!!) Once the owner saw the pictures, he sent his "best trim guy" out to fix the trim. 2 MORE days, BUT Greg did an amazing job and the glaring problems were fixed. I want to say, we understand that delays and problems can occur at any time, especially dealing in our world today. BUT, What happened after was UNACCEPTABLE! Owner Kevin Rose, Salesperson Jeff, and flooring rep entered my house, looked over the whole house in 7 minutes, and left - and I might say, on a good note after a few words between us and shaking hands. I felt much better at that point. That night I listened to my ring doorbell clips from the day .... Not very smart, Owner Kevin Rose, to talk like that so your customer, who gave you thousands and thousands of hard-earned money, can hear your comments!! I would NEVER recommend Carpetland if they can't respect their customers -- who have had their house torn up for 6 months waiting on your company's mistakes !!!! NOTE: We also had a carpet install from them -- it was seemless, the installer did a WONDERFUL job and the padding and carpet are exceptional. And it looks and feels SPECTACULAR. read more

I worked with Alan S on a master bedroom carpet replacement project. He was sensitive to our timing needs even came to do the measure after his work shift on the weekend. We were able to get the deal done the next day. Alan is the Flooring Consultant to see. Alan listened to our needs, helped pick the product that meet the budget and made it all happen timely. I will also say the install team was very prompt and took care of the install with no issues. They did a professional job and represented their company well. My experience here was much better then those big box stores, where they didn't install confidence in their sales approach or in the mass products their sell under "their" name. was told one thing than another by salesman, then that salesman was transfer, or quit ,got another salesman, same story ,so we had to find the product we wanted from another company, due to laziness ,of the company and salesman, for our tile floor replacement with woodplanks,since there didnt match our wood cabinets, gave them product name and item number, product came in ,made appointment,to be installed,the installer came out and inspected the floors, that the wood plank would be installed,he said that it had to be level first,so this was set up ,he came and level it,than the salesman called and ask us if we seen the reciept,for the product,we able we are not the babysitter,for your employee,anyway we were told that the installer has over 30 years experience,another lie,we fill,since there was problem,with the installation,of the wood planks ,gaps,trim not matching color of floor,totiet leaking,refriderator ice maker leaking,had to get owner ,Kevin Rose to come down ,and then ,Kevin told us we missunderstood,what his salesperson meet,that where the nightmare started all over. But the carpet was good and the installer help out wounderfully,no issue with the carpet,but as for other flooring,WOULD NOT RECOMMENT !!! read more

Poor customer service! Bad communication! Kept delaying my order. First they told me one week and then it turned into two weeks supposedly from another location than the one they first told me. After three and half weeks of waiting for my tile order they again told me their was a three day wait! At this point I didn't believe anything they were telling me. If they didn't want me to buy anything from them they should have said so!! I had three days after all this to find tile before my installer came. Thankfully Carpet Mill Outlet in Roscoe had what I needed and in stock! Loved this tile even better than what I had picked at Carpetland! Learned my lesson. Check reviews before buying!!! read more

0 stars for Carpetland. I had to give it a 1 otherwise it wouldn't let me post this review. Our service was absolutely horrible!! The installer wouldn't show up on certain days that he said he would. Our whole backsplash was installed with the wrong tile so they had to tear it all off and ripped half of our wall out with it. They also began installing the wrong floor tile as well. They ALSO, ruined our stainless steel sink with some kind of acid that they used when cleaning something off. About 3 months later the job was finally done. The owner came out to our house and acted like what we had been through was NO BIG DEAL!! Don't give them a cent of your money. You will absolutely regret it!!! read more

My hardwood floor installation for approximately 1000 sq. ft took over 4 months and was poorly done. Excessive damage, shoddy workmanship, damage to original wood and details in an 130 year old home, and one of the installers put a rather large hole/crack in my plaster wall and they are refusing to fix it with the quote they asked me to provide. Customer service is so poor, yes they have a great selection, but to get measuring and price takes for ever. Its been over 2 months and have heard nothing. Sure I could call them, but why should I.
