He did plenty of finger-pointing and did not take responsibility or even apologize. From the beginning our new fireplaced leaked. The FCM owner refused to correct it or even come out. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they reported that he did not respond to our request to mediate. I have since learned he used defective mortar and we are replacing the entire chimney for $14K. The signs were there from the beginning that I should have recognized, he is not a quality individual.
