    Arepa y Empanada de Camarón

Arepas , empanadas de camarón !!!! Great customer service and pretty fast turn around. Food taste great, so much flavor and well balanced. Sauces are good as well. Maracuya drink was so refreshing.

Super buena comida y atención excelente! Los precios son bien accesibles para la porción que ofrecen.

We loved this spot. We had been looking for Venezuelan arepas in San Jose and only knew of 1 other place. Discovered this place on TikTok and immediately went. The pabellon arepa and the cachapas were excellent!! I loved the green salsa. The owner was super friendly and talked to us a bit. Will definitely be going back in the future.

La comida salió pero muy muy rica!!! Amazing authentic Venezuelan food! The service was phenomenal! The salsas were delicious specially the guasacaca! My favorite is the empanada pabellón and tequenos.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Went there for lunch and both owners were very nice. They went above and beyond even coming out to service. Our drinks and food. Presentation was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. It had a combination of sweet and savory that I never thought would work but does in so many ways. The owner even took the time to set up a small electric fan for us so that we were comfortable. Wonderful people highly recommend coming here.

Had a great time trying arepas at Pana while at the sharks game on a Thursday night!…read more It's a popular spot that capture a long line because of its live cooking and delicious food. It took about 7-10 minutes for my food to be done. I ordered the Sifrina which is an arepa with shredded chicken, cheese, mayo, and avocado. It was so delicious, great amount of filling, and the avo spread was so tasty. Would love to come here again!

I've been to Pana before and usually go for the Pabellón arepa, which is also delicious, but this time I tried the Reina Pepiada, and wow. It's made with shredded chicken, mayo, and avocado. The arepa was extra crispy, which I loved. Honestly, even as a Colombian, and someone who grew up eating arepas all my life, I have to say, this Venezuelan version is amazing. Super flavorful and well-balanced. Germán, the owner, was super welcoming as always. He told me they're opening a new location in San José, which is way closer to me, and I'm honestly so excited to visit them there too! The vibe that day was perfect. There was live music playing, people dancing, and I was just sitting there enjoying my arepa in the sun with all that great energy around me. If you haven't tried Pana, you're missing out. The food, the people, the vibe, todo was on point.

Its in a nice area and the plaza its in is pretty empty so parking is super easy. When you walk in theres a hostess stand and you need to wait so you can be seated. Its a cute restaurant. Has a large TV. Super casual. The server my husband and I had was super nice. We ordered: -Blackberry juice -Colombiana -Pacfico -Morcilla con papas -1 beef empanada -1 chicken empanada -Bandeja paisa The food and drinks all came out in like 5min. Super quick! The empanadas were really good, well seasoned. Morcilla was delicious! The potatos are not seasoned but you can salt them yourself. They come with 2 sauces one thats guacamole and the other was tapatio based, which was disappointing because it should come with aji. The bandeja paisa was okay. The only thing I didnt like about it was the ground beef. I will be back to try other dishes.

Came here on a weeknight and in the middle of our meal they set up speakers and there was a comedy show in Spanish. Just not what we were expecting as we were looking for a place to eat where we could have a conversation. The food had nice flavors, but the quality of the meat was hit or miss. One plate had nice tender beef while the other one was very tough.

We were welcomed in by the staff and seated at a large trapezoidal table, and given menus. There was a lot to choose from but the friendly staff helped us select some winners. We had the cucumber salad, braised beef brisket noodle soup (sooo good!), Lumpia de Jamon y Queso, Pollo Valenciano (rotisserie chicken they are named for), Cantoo Triple Set, Arroz Especial (house fried rice) and a flan for dessert. The food was amazing. Lumpia was large enough to share between us all and had great flavor. The chicken was so moist, even the breast; this is what rotisserie chicken was meant to be! I love a good fried rice, and theirs was amongst the best I've ever had. The duck and pork belly in the tripple set were so good; crispy skin on both with flavorful juicy meat below. Even though we were in a hotel with no way to reheat food, we took home the extra because we couldn't imagine parting with anything. This was for my sons 10th birthday, to the amazing staff offered a flan and it was delicious! If we are back in the neighborhood, I'll be heading back for sure!

The beef and cheese empanada was a good start to the meal. They're large, so one is good to share between 2 people. The #D6 bbq triple combo plate was a must try - roasted pork had a good distribution of fat and light crunchy skin. The bbq pork was served in thick slices and tender. Duck vermicelli complemented the meal and included plenty morsels of duck meat and skin. There was sliced vegetable and egg mixed in, among which was pickled mustard - adding acidity to the dish good for cutting the grease. I was so looking forward to the salted egg pumpkin, so it's regretful that it tasted as if fried in old cooking oil and was dredged in it. Unfortunately, the meal was slightly greasy and a bit salty - hence good for post-outing. In the moment, it was enjoyably satisfying, but leftovers next day exposed the salt and grease.
