Love this spot! They have the best chai tea, iced or hot. My favorite is the Tiger Spice Chai. I love it hot and cold, but there's a slight nod to hot. If you can't do regular sugar, they have an Orca Spice Chai (hot or cold), which uses sugar free sucralos. As sugar free drinks go, it's still tasty. As for eats, I alternate between the breakfast wrap (pico de gallo added) and the empanaditas (two are beef and two have fresh cheese). I've definitely ordered the wrap more, so I guess it's my favorite. I love that it comes with a small fresh fruit cup. And after I eat the half for breakfast, I can have the other half for lunch. As for the empanaditas, although I enjoy both kind, there's an obvious nod to the beef. They come with three delicious sauces. If you're going to dine at a Venezuelan restaurant, why not try the empanaditas. I doubt you'll regret it. I've also had the avocado toast, the croissant, the waffle and the scrambled egg (added side of bacon). Not once have I been disappointed. Here's What I Think... Stop by any of the seven locations to enjoy a quick bite and a nice cup of tea.

Quick service, very fast and casual with lots of nearby seats. Got the cami's arepa and it was decent. The green sauce was very flavorful!

The chai and coffee were decent, but nothing spectacular. 3 stars are really weighing for the cool ambiance and great customer service from staff. Maybe we needed to try something different to get a better experience. With so many options downtown, it's hard to say I'd go back.

Good cafe to work from! On a Sunday evening plenty of tables were open, even ones with outlets near them. I got the Oven Roasted Turkey Panini and it was good! Surprisingly light bread, and it came out in decent time (they give you a buzzer to pick Up your food when it's ready). There's steady wifi heat so I worked for a couple of hours with ease, and there's enough music and conversation from other patrons around you that it's a nice cozy ambiance for focusing on work. Would be back!

I stopped by for a lunch meeting and tried Venezuelan food for the first time. It was such a pleasant surprise. The café is located in a business complex, so parking can be a bit tricky around lunchtime. I ordered an entrée and it was really tasty with a generous portion. It's a self-service setup: you place your order at the counter, get a buzzer, and then pick up your food, utensils, and water when it's ready. After you're done eating, you take your plate to a station and scrape off any leftovers. It's pretty straightforward. Prices are reasonable, and they do suggest tip options when you pay. I also tried the passion fruit pudding, which reminded me of panna cotta. It was absolutely delicious, and I'd definitely come back just for that. The space was clean and had a nice crowd during lunch. Overall, a great spot for a casual and tasty

Cozy cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped by during our visit to Palo Alto and saw that there a lot of people drinking coffee and tapping away at their laptops at the cafe on a weekend afternoon. It gave me such college campus vibes and we decided to check it out. Got the spicy maya hot chocolate and a chicken chipotle quesadilla. The hot chocolate had a light spicy kick and the quesadilla was simple but tasty and more importantly crispy. It came with some pico de gallo which I liked but then it made me want some guacamole and sour cream to go along with it. The cafe stayed busy as people came in and out to order or pick up to-go orders. They have an app so you can order online ahead of time as well as collect rewards. Eco friendly as well as a lot of the items are in compostable packaging.

    French Toast

Got the sourdough French toast and subbed the strawberry with bananas. Loved the sourdough bread! I asked to sub the strawberries out the banana nut somehow was charge an extra $2 for 9 pieces of bananas which is absurd. Otherwise tasty spot that I've visited on multiple occasions.

It was a nice cafe and I did love the ambiance. The service was good and it was an overall enjoyable experience. I had the matcha and split a chocolate croissant and it was good but I have had better. Definitely a nice cafe to go to but nothing extraordinary. I have tasted better matcha. Still a cute place to stop by though.

    Mini but yummy Empanaditas

I was in Palo Alto on a beautiful day and needed a spot to work, grab a drink, and enjoy a light bite. This café seemed popular, so I decided to give it a try. The ordering system is very convenient. You seat yourself, scan the barcode, and your order is brought right to the table. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the empanadas were absolutely delicious. I also ordered the strawberry matcha latte, which unfortunately missed the mark. The strawberry flavor reminded me of medicine, the boba pearls were inconsistent, and the matcha itself was overly thick and hard to drink. Overall, the vibe, convenience, and empanadas make me want to return. I hope the drinks improve. That would make the experience so much better.

I had a midterm the day I was heading back to LA so I knew I had to lock in at a cafe with WiFi somewhere. Coupa Cafe was recommended a lot on the Stanford subreddit, so I decided to take a look! There's lots of great seating for working and studying, so it's probably for the better that I don't go to Stanford, because otherwise I'd probably blow all of my money studying at cafes. I got the sugar-free chai forgetting that "sugar-free" means fake sugar, so that's on me. It's a premade mix so I'd probably stick to their coffees here.

I came here on a Saturday morning brunch with a group of people wanting to practice our French ! There was quite a lot of outdoor seating, which was nice as I brought my family maltipoo along. The inside of the cafe also looked really lovely, and one of these days I will have to just go and sit inside. The food came out relatively fast, and the service was quite busy during the time of day that I went. The coffee I ordered tasted okay, but the savory crepe I got was suprisingly very tasty - especially the dough ! I will have to come back one of these days - would recommend !

Everything is freshly made, the portions are generous, and the meat is packed with flavor. The oxtail was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the jerk pork was ridiculously juicy and flavorful. I also tried the jerk chicken and NY strip. The chicken actually stole the show--the steak was good, but the jerk chicken had that extra something that made me keep going back for another bite. And of course, the coconut rice and plantains were the perfect companions to all that rich, savory goodness. My only wish? Give me something fresh and refreshing on the side! A little salad, slaw, or something with some acidity would balance out all that richness beautifully. Overall, though, everything was delicious, portions were big, and my Caribbean food cravings have officially been satisfied. Definitely coming back!

Every time I showed up it was closed. Never had their food. Cut to recently and there is now a Colombian food stall! Ironic yes? Now Ill have to tell my Colombian friend this even though they dont live nearby anymore. I will often make a sandwich or pizza run at the building next door but I decided to check out something new. I guess they are open normally on the weekend evenings but I happened upon a lunch special where they were serving Calentado which is rice beans chorizo and a fried egg plus a mixture of coal roasted/barbecued meats called picada. I'd had the picada at Juancho's deep in San Jose a while back so I figured Id do a comparison. Now with Juancho's it's a big restaurant and they have a large grill setup, plus the items are grilled to order as the flow is constant. At Patacom, they only have the one barrel with coals and it's 2 people working so they have to cook and keep it warm, so you dont get the straight off the grill freshness. However the pork and beef were both very well seasoned and had good flavor. I guess it would be best to catch them right at opening. THe meats also come with an arepa topped with cheese, boiled potatoes, yucca and plantains. So it's a pretty hearty meal. Id definitely come back and try some of their regular items at some point, especially if they do the bandeja paisa which seems to be the most widespread item I've seen amongst Colombians. And next time for the picada gotta show up right at opening!
