My older daughter was paired with Wendy, while my younger son had Wendy and Andy as instructors. They were both fantastic! Wendy has a pretty chill vibe, which really helped my new drivers feel relaxed behind the wheel. Andy, on the other hand, was thorough in going over the rules, which was incredibly beneficial for preparing them for the test. Both teachers were wonderful in ensuring my kids learned to drive safely. I made sure to have a driving instructor take them when they were completely new to driving, as I wanted them to learn the correct way before picking up any bad habits (like most of us adults do ). After that, they completed their required hours, and I arranged for a driving instructor from NV Driving School to give them a final lesson right before their driving test. They covered all the areas around the DMV where each teen was testing, which I believe helped them pass their driving tests. In the end, both kids passed their driving tests on their first try! Thierry, the owner, is incredibly friendly and honest. In general, NV Driving School is honest, provides fair pricing, and is always prompt. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend NV Driving School to anyone who needs driving lessons, especially teens!

In January 2022 we contacted the Ability Center to get a left side accelerator installed so my son,…read morea right AKA amputee, could begin accumulating the driving hours needed to take the Driving Skills test for his first license. We were "steered" to Driving To Independence (they share the same building) for an evaluation. We paid $350 for a three hour evaluation process that I'm not sure I (a 30+ year driver) could have passed. At the end of the three hours, the employee stated that my son would need 20+ hours of instruction (costing well over $2,000) before they could issue the evaluation for the equipment installation. Getting the lessons - in one hour increments - would have taken months. Rather than spend thousands of dollars and months of time, we contacted another driving rehab specialist (see my review), got an evaluation completed ($250, no additional "lessons" required), had the equipment installed (using a different provider) and my son was driving with a permit within the month. My son passed his driver's test on the first try and has now been driving for over six months without incident. Driving To Independence seems to equate limb deficiency with cognitive impairment. I'm not sure if this was a money grab, or if Driving To Independence just doesn't have experience working with amputees. Either way, if you are an amputee, I would avoid this business.

My grandson finished his lessons in December. Circumstances prevented him from taking his test until 2/23. We went to DMV, and there was Lynn waiting. My grandson was scheduled for 2:20. They called for his test about 3:30. He was then able to use their vehicle. Mind you, these delays were on my end, and the contract with Safe Driving School was completely satisfied, but yet there was Lynn today. This was all done today on their dime! I had NO idea that a business with this level of customer CARE existed anywhere today. It is worth every cent I spent. I would/will do it again in a heartbeat! And with the 15% monthly discount on my insurance, it will literally pay for itself! THANK YOU LYNN AND SAFE DRIVING SCHOOL!

We went with their gold package as well as the pre-drive test refresher course. We were really happy with the knowledge of the instructors and the availability of lessons. We were able to schedule a couple of drive lessons with the same instructor, as well as with other instructors for how different people teach. The drive test refresher was also a welcome lesson. John H. was amazing! We had arranged he would pick up our son from the house and then we would meet them at the DMV for the scheduled drive test. We had a little paperwork issue which was my fault, but John was there and got me the right contact to be able to remedy the issue quickly and still be able to take the drive test. I spent most of my time in class, studying, and playing video games. I wanted to figure out how to get more out of life than what I had. I wanted to know how to meet people and make friends. I wanted to have a healthier, happier self-image. I wanted to feel confident and have the courage to throw myself into the deep end of life. Just by listening to the podcast, I managed to turn my college experience around. I made a number of solid friends, was invited to some great parties, crashed some great parties, and went on some stellar adventures with fun people. But as I neared graduation I felt like I had reached a plateau. I felt like I had pushed myself as far as I could on my own and my potential was still far beyond my reach. So, as soon as I moved out to San Diego for work, I signed up for a bootcamp at the Art of Charm because I'm a firm believer that a quality coach can always push me farther than I can push myself because I am limited by my own perspective and experience. Let me tell you, that was one of the best decisions I made. It was inspiring to be around like-minded humans who wanted to improve their lives, to be better humans overall, and to push each other outside of our comfort zones. And boy, did we get pushed. That week I spent in LA forever altered the course of my life. There was so much knowledge, instruction, and application of principles packed into one week that I kept returning on weekends to sit through class and help out wherever I could. It was worth every penny and more. I recommend the podcast and the bootcamp to everyone who expresses an interest in developing their confidence and social skills. The subsequent decade was an amazing rollercoaster ride filled with high highs and low lows. I made some amazing friends across the globe, fell into some magical romances with wonderful humans, switched careers multiple times, discovered my love for solo-backpacking, learned to love myself, went on some adventures rivaling anything you've seen on the big screen, and learned countless valuable life lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my life. What a ride it's been. In closing, I attribute most, if not all of the success, confidence, and life fulfillment I have to The Art of Charm. If you want to get the most out of life, I can't recommend the bootcamp strongly enough.
