FANTASTIC service! SEVEN.........days ago my wife's car battery died. So I drove out to her and gave her a jump start so that she could drive home ASAP. From home, she called AAA roadside assistance. An hour later a tow truck arrived, tested her battery, said it needed a new battery. Then they said they were out of stock, and would have to order a new battery and that it "SHOULD" be available in a week. Today was that week and now they are saying 3 more days. It turns out that AAA supplies the batteries to the tow truck companies from one source. AAA has done absolutely NOTHING to resolve this issue. So this morning, my wife calls Teresa's and the manager tells her that her battery will arrive in 20 minutes, and that he would install it himself. We jump started her car and she drove to Teresa's. When she arrived there, so did the new battery. They drove her home so that she didn't have to wait at the shop. Two hours later they called and said it was ready. They came and picked her up, and she drove herself home. We completely trust Teresa's as they always provide professional service and NEVER try to upsell you something you don't need. We are dropping AAA roadside assitance after being a customer for over 30 years. We are going to try the Sam Club for roadside assistance, and switch to Travelers for auto insurance. Staff were kind and they were quick to help, unfortunately, that changed once insurance got involved. Insurance wouldn't cover all damages so we requested a quote from Teresa's so we knew what expenses to expect and they kept insisting on getting the quote from insurance. It was so frustrating to go back and forth between both parties for what seemed like a simple answer especially since they knew the make and model of the vehicle, even had it in their possession, and you mean to say you can't tell me the cost of repairs? Ridiculous. We took our business elsewhere and it was the best decision, much more affordable too! read more

I took my car in to get an estimate for some body damage. While I was there the tech working up the quote noted the significant sand damage on the front/sides of the vehicle and asked if I'd like to insurance claim them, since this was a common issue in Ridgecrest. Sure why not, and I asked for them to look at the front windshield since it is pitted and has a crack forming from getting smacked by a rock off a semi truck. Quote was worked up - 7,100 for the paint, windshield, and the damaged rocker. I still have the quote. Arranged a date to drop off. Went home, filed the insurance claim for the sand damage and glass, planned to pay the rocker repair out of pocket. The front desk didn't coordinate with my insurance company, so drop off was delayed (was supposed to be early April). So it was moved to May. Insurance approved the paint/glass activity, everything looked good. Dropped the car off in early May. When I dropped the vehicle off and signed off on the repair work to be done, my wife said, "This includes the rocker, correct?" The front desk said, "Yes." Three weeks later, no news. I called on a Monday and asked for a sitrep and was told they were waiting on parts. On Thursday, the front desk called my wife, at work, and said she needed to come down and approve the extra work. She told the guy on the line to call her husband (me) since she's on base and can't just run off to the local bodyshop. He told her that they had been trying to call me all morning and they had left many voicemails. I have my ATT call logs. They never tried to call. The only call to/from the shop was my call to them on Monday. My wife told them to call me, then called me and gave me a headsup. An hour and half later, they call saying I need to come down and approve the extra work. So I came down and found that they had marked up every perceived nick, ding, bang, bump, bruise, everything, on the car. The tech told me they didn't want to paint it because they'd be painting over imperfections and they didn't want that. He tried to point to brand new rubber lining and say it was bad (it's not, I told him it was less than a year old, he tried to pick at it with his thumb to show me it's rotting, failed, and then tried to tell me I should replace the rubber anyway). I asked why they weren't doing the work they quoted me and he said, "we didn't know what we were doing with this car." I have quotes. I have a repair order. And magically they don't know what they're doing? So insurance approved 6.5k for the repairs. The shop wanted another $11,000.00 for all the work they had identified as 'must be done'. Almost $18,000.00 for work they didn't know what to do. And the rocker, the item that I had originally come in for, was left off. I told him to get me a quote for the rocker, paint, windshield, and I'd talk to my wife. Left. Realized that essentially they had just tried to scam my wife by getting her to come down, pressure her, and get 11k. So I called the shop and said I wanted my car. The front desk told me I couldn't just do that, I needed my insurance company's permission. So I called State Farm and cheerfully told them what was happening, and my agent said to go get the car and let them know what shop would be doing the work (a place in LA). I went back to the shop to get the car. Someone had moved a truck and blocked my car into the garage. Teresa was now at the front desk and asked what I was going to do about all the parts. She also said she wasn't a part of the conversation and 'didn't know what was going on out there.' So they had ordered parts, for work they didn't know they were doing (if the tech is to be believed) and the owner doesn't know why a customer is taking the car back. The parts could be returned without a restocking fee, but Teresa dinged me ~$700 for the windshield that was still in Bakersfield, that no one bothered to pickup. She said I 'might' get a partial refund after any restocking fee. I never got one. I drove the car home - when we dropped it off it had ¾ tank, it was now almost empty. The interior reeked of body odor - guessing someone took it for a joy ride. The tires came loose - 14 out 20 lugs were loose; why they took the tires off, I will never know. Teresa's handled one of my collision repairs in the past (3.5 years ago) and they were fantastic then. I have recommended them to friends and family ever since. Not anymore. read more

Which was pretty high.. i then went to another repair shop a block away from Teresas and got another quote that was much less and that shop told me they use OEM parts for repair.. I called Teresas several times to inquire if they used OEM or imported parts for my quote.. I called them twice and after no return calls within a week i finally took vehicle to the other shop whom did a fantastic job on repair.. Later after the repair i finally got a call back from Teresas herself and she said my quote did not Include OEM parts but rather imported parts.. Teresas quote was extremely high and the lack of communicating with a potential customer earned them this one star. i had other problems with Teresas and i'll go into that on a separate review and that also contributed to the one star rating. read more

When shit happens such as car accidents, there are multitudes of painful headaches to take care of and millions of paperworks to fill out just so you can get back to status of before the accident. Last thing you want going wrong is your vehicle being not repaired properly. My vehicle was T-boned by some old guy a month ago, and Teresa and her shop restored my vehicle just as good, if not better than to prior accident. Granted, what I care and most folks care is probably more of function of vehicle and less cosmetic. It will take more like a year or two before I can truly assess how drive-train portion is restored, but then this is true for any body shop. The reason why I gave Teresa's 5 star isn't because she did better job than other body shop, because I wouldn't know and can't tell much difference with my short auto knowledge anyways. (and only two times have I used autobody service) The reason is I believe Teresa really cared for my car. and when somebody care about what they do, it really shows and it reflects how well and properly jobs get done. Either you want or not, shit like car accident happens even in no traffic city like Ridgecrest, (because trust me, someone will ram into you without proper notification LOL). When you get into this position, and you want your bodyshop to CARE about your car more than anything else, then go for Teresa's. read more

From every angle my experience with Teresa's Auto Body has been fantastic! While traveling north (and driving my brother's car) through Bishop one afternoon I was hit from the side which broke the A-arm and thus rendered the car inoperable and also did a great deal of damage to the body. That evening I had the car towed to a local shop. While getting a rental the next morning, Jessie at Enterprise suggested I call Teresa's and maybe they'd go get the car. So I did, and sure enough within 30 minutes they were on the way to pick up the car! As a side note: They were closed that day but they went and got the car anyway. Everything was seamless and SO easy; from the shop handling the tow charge in Bishop, to dealing with insurance, to needing rides to and from the shop. He went above and beyond in making sure that we had water, making good conversation on the long drive, waiting patiently while I tried to work things out with our insurance, and even dropping us off at a motel for the night. My friend and I got a flat tire early in the morning while in town for a dirt biking trip. We called around and Teresa's place told us they could patch or replace it right away. Upon arriving, we were blown way by the business and its excellent service. It is by far the nicest autobody and repair shop I have ever been in. The people were so nice, doing excellent work at extremely low cost, never trying to add on unnecessary services or time (something I am wary of). My friend and I left exuberant, joking that our flat tire experience actually made our day better. On a trip up to Tahoe from San Diego, my wheel inexplicably fell off going about 70mph, just outside Ridgecrest. Randomly called Teresa's Autobody & Towing for a tow. They got to me promptly and the driver couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Took me back to the yard and was met there by a few people including the owners. It being the weekend they they weren't officially open, but they were there building a new patio. If you want the best...this is the place to go! We left for a weeks vacation in Tahoe on 6/29. Pass Cathedral City horrible grind sound from engine. 2015 car should not be happening. Called AAA for tow and waited 1 hour per the timeline, called and excuse why delayed wrong location .. we gave them the street name and off 395. Bottom line Teresa's to the rescue. Ray was there within 1/2 hour as promised. He towed to his place and we were warmly greeted by his wife Teressa, Rays wife and namesake of the business! Why do they have great reviews? That is who they are. We had to leave the car there and we rented a car.. Theresa took us over and helped greatly with the deal for the rental. We then had to have the car towed to the dealer while we were on vacation and they helped us out again working with us! Thank you Teresa's Auto Body and Towing for towing my car to the AV dealership in Lancaster this morning! At 9:16AM I received a text saying the ETA for a truck would be within 20 minutes, the truck arrived at approx. 9:30AM. The driver was clean, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and yet worked in a safe manner. David (the driver) carefully hooked up my car, double checked all straps and chains before pulling out and he headed for Lancaster at approx. 9:55AM. Before David left I asked him what time I could expect my car to be delivered and he told me that he should have it there no later then 12:30PM providing there was no traffic delays. I got a call at 12:12PM from the Service writer at the Dealership letting me know that my car had arrived and that it was delivered to him as I had requested. I highly recommend others to use Teresa's Auto Body and Towing as they are very efficient and professional at what they do!!! Wow! Teresa and her crew are truly Good Samaritans! They helped me by bending back the side of my van door after it had been blown open by strong wind (it had become misaligned). I had my first tire blowout on my travel trailer 40 miles out of town at 6:30pm the night before 4th of July and it was 110 degrees... no one was open, and no one wanted to help. I got a hold of Teresa, and she ended up sending her husband out to help us so we wouldn't be stuck out there all night waiting for my useless roadside service to come help. We were so thankful!!! She contacted me to let me know who was coming, how long until he would be there, and to make sure everything was going OK once he did get there. I can't express how great she was, how much she went our of her way to make sure she could help us, how fast she resolved our problem, and how affordable the services were (it was WAY less than the company my insurance found, and much faster). Traveling into Mammoth our car hit a deer. From the look of the front end of the car you would think the car was totaled. It was a fairly new car so this was not the best scenario for thinking it would ever be looking like new again. But we were totally wrong. I don't want to sound generic and say this is the best auto shop I have ever been to but in all honesty, this is the best auto shop I've ever been to. Me and two of my buddies were headed to June Lake from Santa Barbara and my car ended up overheating when we got to Piersonville. Teresa's auto shop was about to close and since it was Friday we would have been stranded for the weekend. Instead of shutting us out Teresa and her amazing crew helped us get back on the road.
