I took a BIG problem in to Lili at Teresa's Tailor, and like a sewing magician, she fixed it! My problem was to replace an invisible zipper in a formal gown made of finicky fabric. She did a beautiful job, having to pick out the stitching with a needle and handsewing the lining back in. When I tried the dress on in absolute joy, the new zipper broke (NOT her fault), so she patiently replaced it AGAIN! She understood how important it was to me because I was celebrating becoming a breast cancer survivor. I wore the dress on New Year's and got to celebrate wearing the dress of my dreams thanks to Lili. Thank you SO MUCH! read more

HORRIBLE, RUDE, AND TERRIBLE!!!!!! I would give it ZERO stars if I could. I first called this place and asked if she could hem pants that had sequins. She didn't know what that meant. That scared me because a tailor that says she works on formal wear and prom gowns that doesnt know what sequins is, is scary, but I went anyway. When I went into this place and asked the lady if she could hem the pants, she kept saying, "oh these pants have a lining and this will be expensive, etc". I never even brought up price and I didn't care. What, did I look homeless or like I couldn't afford to get the very expensive pants hemmed? NO! The fact is, I needed them hemmed. Then she wanted to hem them without separating the lining and the sequin overlay and do it together.....yuck and unprofessional and she wanted to charge me $30 for a very cheap way of hemming them and get them back to me in 6 days. And here is the kicker and the MAIN REASON I gave the one star.... she then said to me, after only 5 -10 minutes of talking to me, she said that I was picky. WTF???? NO LADY, THESE WERE EXPENSIVE PANTS AND I AM THE CUSTOMER AND I WANT THEM HEMMED PROPERLY......I'M NOT PICKY, BUT IF I WAS, YOU DON'T CALL SOMEONE THAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN, YOU RUDE BITCH.... YOU TRIED TO HEM MY PANTS IN A CHEAP, LAZY-ASS WAY.....THE WAY YOU WANTED TO.......I DIDN'T LET YOU.... So, I left, no pants hemmed. I went a mile down the street, to another place. That professional place not only hemmed my pants correctly by taking out the lining and re-hemming the lining and the sequins overlay, she only charged me $15 and did for me in an hour.
