Teresa's Tailoring completely ruined my wedding dress. My dress was lace and needed to be taken up. Teresa told me it would be $400 because they had to take off the lace aplique trim and re-attach it. When I got my dress, Maryann had cut right through the applique, ruining the scallop look. They also got blood on the front of my dress, made it too short, and mis-stiched the bustle. My dress wasn't ready until the week before my wedding, which was two weeks later than I was quoted. When I contacted Teresa, explaining what had gone wrong, she refused to re-fund my money. They ruined a $1000 wedding dress, and charged me $400 for the worst wedding dress alterations I have ever seen. I ended up finding another seamstress who was able to patch together the pieces in a short period of time. The new seamstress told me I should take Teresa to court because what was done to my dress is an atrocity in the sewing world. I tried to settle out of court, but Teresa refused to talk to me, instead, sending a mediator that would charge me $150 to settle the issue. I declined and am still considering small claims court. More than anything, I just want my money back and I want her shop to not ruin anyone else's special day. I have pictures which I will try to post as well. read more

I brought in a pair of pants that I needed to have for the following night, and though there was a slight fee for such a tight turn around, they did an excellent job and quick! The pants needed to be taken in about 3 inches due to my build. The quality of the alteration is fantastic and I see myself returning in the near future! read more

This Spring I wanted to take a few of my shirts in to get shortened. I've had this done before as many shirts are just too long to be worn untucked. I had 5 shirts, and the person helping me took time to clarify what I wanted. She seemed unsure as to how to shorten the shirts while keeping the style of the shirt. So..she offered to shorten a shirt, and then would contact me a week later to come in and try it out before shortening the others. She did not call me back, and when I called approximately 2 weeks after coming in, she assumed I had been called and I then went and tried on the shirt she had shortened. Keep in mind this was over 2 weeks after I had originally come in. I then waited another week or so, and called. The person answering the phone did not have information on my shirts, but I told her I just needed to know when they would be done. I waited again about a week and when I called, was told I should have been called and that the shirts were done. It took approximately 5 weeks to shorten 5 shirts. One of the shirts is ruined as the front of the shirt is almost 2 inches shorter in back. This shirt started out with tails, but now the back of the shirt is straight across...I can't believe it is THIS difficult to shorten shirts! I was not offered a coupon, a discount, nor was there an apology for the poor communication, or the time it took. Obviously won't be going back here. read more

Great little place for tailoring. The owner is very hands on even though there is a person checking everything in. My husband has an old old work coat. The zipper broke and of course, he just had to have it fixed. Felt a little awkward bringing the coat in, however upon leaving, they made me feel like it was a mink coat. Teresa is amazing. You can't even tell your clothing has been altered! She is so friendly and nice and her work is impeccable. She is so honest she actually told me a jacket did not need altering then showed me how to wear it right. I trust her completely and would not take my clothes to anyone else.
