We were traveling through and staying at a nearby hotel, so we picked here for dinner. The food is absolutely delicious. However, the vegetables are just a couple stalks of broccoli and cabbage. i Ordered teriyaki chicken. The price on the menu was $9.99 after I paid and looked at the receipt I had been charged $12.18 for the meal. Yes that's a weird price and that was before taxes added. the chicken was supposed to be teriyaki but I think they forgot the teriyaki and it seemed like only a half serving ng of chicken. I also paid $2 for an eggroll that was about half the size of what I usually get. And the cashier asked if I wanted yum yum sauce and of course I said yes. Then there was a charge for that. It just wasn't good. I ordered the steak & chicken, which was around $18, not too bad...or so I thought. I'm not sure what cut of beef they use, but it was definitely not even a sirloin. I like teriyaki house because the ingredients used is slightly different. I live out of town, but whenever I come through I always stop in. In Chinese takeout they usually use short ribs as the meat. But they use what tastes like flat iron steaks as beef. Chicken is a more hibachi style, and the shrimp is slightly bigger than other places I go to. I really like them a lot! read more

Nice sized shrimp were slightly underdone and my husbands teriyaki chicken and shrimp was clearly smaller shrimp and less Fresh, but the price was in line with that. The decor is bright and modern with a hint of Asian flair. There is evidence of moulding being removed from the wall around the 3ft high point at some point, which gives the place a slightly dumpy feel, but the restaurant was otherwise clean. The menu's main features are teriyaki- and hibachi-style meats. The teriyaki chicken is dark meat, while the hibachi chicken is white meat. The teriyaki beef is a cheap cut of steak cut into strips, which the hibachi beef is a better cut of steak cut into cubes. Teriyaki shrimp, hibachi salmon, and hibachi tilapia are some other options. All the teriyaki and hibachi items come with fried or steamed rice and vegetables. There are also several appetizers including dumplings, egg rolls, and tempura. All prices are under $10. All meals are served in a styrofoam to-go box with plastic cutlery. This seems inelegant at first, until you realize you WILL have leftovers! Portion sizes are large, and you can easily make two meals out of one. On the particular visit I am reviewing, I ordered the teriyaki chicken, which is the least expensive main course. Fountain drinks are available, but I opted for water, which is served in a 12oz styrofoam to-go cup. The cashier, Anna, was very friendly and prompt. My total cost for lunch was $6.41 after tax. I waited about 5 minutes for my order number to be called. The first thing I sampled was the vegetables, which were thoroughly steamed yet crisp. The fried rice didn't include anything other than the rice itself, but was flavorful and sticky as it should be. The ordering process was almost comical! They charge you extra for everything! If you want egg in your fried race, it's $.99! I've never been asked that before, nor gotten charged extra! Then my son and I were going to split a meal, we weren't very hungry, and asked for veggies to be placed on side of plate, not mixed in. My son is not a big veggie eater. They charged me $.50 for that! Got my meal and veggies in a separate container that I did not request? Maybe that's why the additional charge that I did not ask for? Really good. Clean interior. Spacious. Easy to read menu. They cook your food in front of you and even then its done in a timely manner. I've eaten there twice as takeout. Each time I've gotten the hibachi chicken with fried rice and veggies with extra broccoli. The flavor is great and their white sauce is awesome. Enough food to.have leftovers. Their sauce doesnt have that over garlicky flavor like other places i have tried unsuccessfully. They also have teriyaki and wings. They do shrimp, chicken, and salmon that i recall. The customer service is very poor, my sister order a smoothie that wasn't good at all. The smoothie was pre-package as if it was a grab and go item. When I spoke with the owner and inform her the smoothie was not good. Wife and I had lunch there today - our first visit. Order at the counter, food prepared, then you pick up in a styrofoam box and take to your table. We both had Hibachi Steak and Shrimp and an egg roll. Entree comes with fried rice and vegetables. Add the egg roll and a fountain drink and our bill was a bit over $35. When we got our meals I was pleasantly surprised. The vegetables were not a bit over cooked - very crisp. Fried rice was quite tasty. Steak was tender. Shrimp - tails on - which was different for me - but really well cooked and good! Plenty of food and we did not leave hungry. Only thing that kept me from giving this a "5" was the price. This is the worst place I've ever eaten, the fried rice tastes like it was raw and the steak didn't even taste like steak. I've very upset I have to pay over $10 for something that taste so bad. Stopped in on the way back to the ATL and got 12 wings. Nothing but problems: They took my freshly fried wings (they were straight out of the fryer) and doused them with imitation butter and shook them to coat, quickly turning them soggy. Lemon pepper was sparsely applied only on the top after they had been coated with the oil. Almost no lemon pepper flavor on the finished wings I wanted a large soda, they only sold what looked to be a 12 or 16 oz size, but refills are free. I asked if I could use my own 22oz cup from the car and the lady pointed at whom I assumed to be the owner or manager sitting next to her and said "he won't let me do that". I turned to him to ask and be ignored me after I asked three times (it was very much intentional, he was only a three feet away). This is a hospitality business, dummy, you won't make it far treating people like that. Not only that, but you lost an extra $1.79 on the sale, I would have saved you the $.07 for the cup and lid and you would have given me the same total amount of diet coke if I had stayed there. Food is good, comparable to most other Japanese Hibachi restaurants. I have had the Teriyaki chicken, Hibachi chicken, and the beef/steak versions of each. All have been good. Spring rolls are crispy and not too greasy. House yum yum sauce is good. Comes with the Hibachi versions. They need to work on their tea, it is wonky tasting. This is a regular lunch spot for me near my work. Never had a bad meal and they will customize your order if requested. Food is fresh, they get produce delivery several times a week (I've been there several times when the truck came). Restaurant decore is nothing special, but always clean and you really just go for the food. Not sure where some of the other reviewers were eating, but this is way above most take out style Asian food places. If you are looking for gourmet Hibachi, go spend $40 bucks at a Japanese steak house. A good lunch for around $10. read more

Totally decent hibachi Japanese food- all is served in styrofoam takeout containers but they do have a number of tables inside. You can watch them cook everything which is nice. You get less portion size than a regular sit down hibachi place but it's still quite sizable and definitely way less expensive. My husband's steak hibachi was like $9 and my vegetarian portion was $4. The rice is yummy (fried with butter) and my husband said his steak tasted just like it does in the more expensive places. The vegetables are more of a stir fried coleslaw which is disappointing (vs mushrooms, broccoli, onions and carrots from the sit down restaurants). Their house "yummy" sauce is a sweet mayonnaise based sauce that makes everything taste good- but they do charge you $0.50 for a tiny container. Overall it's a pretty decent fast hibachi style meal if you're in the mood but frankly I would rather go to the more expensive places for the whole experience. read more

I wouldn't even give this place a one star. We order Miso soup, hibachi chicken, and spring rolls. The chicken was uncooked, the soup tastes like raw fish, and their was a piece of long hair in my food. I would normal think it was mine but since it was the color of the worker and she was not wearing a hair net I was sure it was hers. I feel I need something else to get that taste out of my mouth.
