Used a coupon for carry-out. It was a smooth transaction and the server was very helpful. I was in at an off time between lunch and dinner. The dining room was empty but the pickup and delivery business was hopping. In spite of being busy the dining room was clean, comfortable, and ready for "eat in" customers. I think Teriyaki madness is decent overall. My wife doesn't really like their chicken teriyaki, but does like their orange chicken and noodles. I think the breast version is bland but the regular version is decent. I like their orange chicken spicy version even better but it does taste kind of funny with the veggies. The chicken katzu is a good new addition for my kids. Others I asked didn't care for the restaurant but I think it's pretty good. I keep going back. read more

We really enjoyed this for lunch! We got a to-go order of the large spicy chicken teriyaki with fried rice and one with Yakisoba. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was just the right amount of spiciness. I was glad they gave you extra sauce to drizzle over the chicken and rice, also. I ordered a large Orange chicken, half vegetables/half rice. I received 90% rice and 10% vegetables. Very disappointing. $27 for this and they pull the old tightwad shuffle. We gave Teriyaki Madness a try for lunch today and were pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately we have had some not so great luck with restaurants in the Boro lately so I went in skeptical. I am thrilled to have something semi-fresh/not traditional fast food close to the house. WE NEED MORE OF THIS MURFREESBORO! My kids (ages 3 and 6) split the large teriyaki bowl with noodles and veggies, and have some noodles still leftover. I had a medium teriyaki bowl with white rice/veggies. Everything was delicious. I didn't eat the broccoli because I am in general picky about broccoli and only really like fresh steamed broccoli. I think theirs is frozen? It's an easy fix and I plan to steam my own next time we order for dinner take out. The rest of the veggies were great! We also shared an order of the crab rangoons and loved them. Only complaint here is the little cup of dipping sauce needs to be larger so the rangoon actually fits in it. Luckily we were eating at home so I had my own small bowls to use. Restaurant was clean (floor was wet by the door and had a caution sign) but probably needed to be dried by hand as it was quite slippery. Cashier didn't seem to go out of her way to be friendly but at least wasn't rude and appeared to be well trained. There were 2 people ahead of us in line when we arrived and it took maybe 8-10 minutes to get our food. Price was fair for the portion size, quality and convenience. The food is legit delicious BUT we had to wait over an hour for three bowls, which is completely ridiculous considering this is a fast casual chain. The location is new, so the staff are probably still learning the ropes, but an hour long wait for something that should have taken 15 minutes at most is egregious. Also worth mentioning, the dining room where we had to wait was freezing cold so the wait was that much more unpleasant. Water was steadily dripping from some of the lighting fixtures in the waiting area, causing at least one of the lights to flicker steadily. Well, today for lunch my girlfriend and I went there. We both had spicy chicken teriyaki both with vegetables and I was amazed at the girl working behind the counter how rude she was. Our food came she brought it to our table. I told her about the tea machine, not working it was spraying Very very strangely for the sweet tea and the regular tea tasted strange. I tried to explain to her about it she didn't wanna hear it. In fact she was so rude. She just walked away. Didn't even give us one moment a time. So as we left, my girlfriend said to me how rude she thought she was And she will never return. And you know I've had issues with this location previously. When we got there, the one person working the register walked away to go to the bathroom, so one of the guys working in the kitchen had to come out and take our order at the register. He obviously was not trained to work the register, as it took about 10 minutes just to put our order in, and he also couldn't figure out how to validate my first-time bogo coupon. We then waited another 45 minutes for our 2 chicken teriyaki bowls. Almost everyone who came in after us got their food before us, including those who ordered in-store. When we checked on the food, she said they were waiting on orange chicken, so it would just be a minute. (We did not order orange chicken). Upon finally receiving the food, we didn't get any chopsticks or forks for our to-go meal, and there was only 1 tiny sauce container. There also wasn't very many veggies in the bowl. Food was decent, but definitely not worth the wait. I explained that I'm not trying to get her fired or anything, but I just hope that she doesn't treat other customers this way in the future. Some people are handicapped and can't just come pick up missing items from their delivery order. I try not to complain much and I'm never out to get a refund without a very good reason, sometimes the truth is that restaurants/employees fall short. At least in this case the owner did above and beyond to make things right. Original review below--- I'll never order from Teriyaki Madness again. I ordered delivery from their app. An hour later it was delivered, missing two orders of crab rangoons. The rice was old, mushy, and gluey. The veggies were cold and raw. There were zero napkins, zero soy sauce, and for $72, the three of us are still hungry because we couldn't even stomach this nasty food. Aside from the poor food quality, when I called to ask about the missing crab Rangoons, the lady on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. She couldn't pull up the order, so I offered to send a screenshot or tell her the order number. We wanted this place to work. It's close to our house and looked like a great place to grab food. It is not clean. For just opening there was trash on the ground. Behind the front counter was a dirty floor and a clerk that licked her fingers. I saw more "workers" walking around than actually working. Sad. I moved here from Seattle, the wall compares the food to Seattle Teriyaki, great comparison. Seattle has teriyaki shops on every corner just like starbucks. We waited almost 45 min for our food. this is the 3rd time we have been here and the last. We have waited over 30 min in the past!! Update... My son got home and the noodles had some kind of garlic paste in it and half the noodles were actual spaghetti noodles not lo mein. My son's rice was pasty and he had clumps of garlic paste in it as well. my chicken was black all on the top and my son's stake was like layers of fat uncooked and uncut.
