    Appetizer sampler

I wanted to like it. I really did. The folks in there are nice, and the service was friendly, but that's where the good stops. I used to love Fulins. They had a great local chain around Mid-TN that was always warm and friendly inside, slightly nicer than your hole-in-the-wall Chinese/Asian fare takeout spots, but less expensive than a PF Changs or a Pei Wei type joint. No so anymore. Honestly, none of the locations I've been to have been very good for about a decade. Save Murfreesboro's Fulin as the worst, by far. We only went in b/c I found a Local Flavor discount and we decided on a whim to whip in and use it. The restaurant is run down and many of the booths and such are falling apart inside. The food we ordered was not always what matched the menu or what we actually even ordered. Eggsample: we ordered Hot & Sour soup. It was (1) not hot, at all, and (2) it was egg-drop soup, not H&S. We ordered the appetizer sampler and were expecting the sticky ribs, but he said they were out and substituted dumplings (gyoza) instead. All three of my party's entrees came out at different times (despite two of them being the same dish), and none of ours except for ONE was hot at all. Mine was actually not only not hot at all, it wasn't even warm. It was stone cold. I should have sent it back, and I'm not sure why I didn't (so shame on me, I guess), but I wasn't feeling particularly confrontational that evening when I was the last of my party to get my dish and they were already 1/2 way through eating. I opted for the Kung Pao/beef & broccoli two entree special, the wife got a spicy beef dish, and the kid also got Kung Pao. The wife's was the only one that was truly hot (temperature wise). It wasn't that spicy, however. Mine was so cold by the time I got it, I thought they'd just left it in the window for about 10 mins before bringing it out. We also ordered a hot Sake bottle, and didn't get it until we were all 1/2 way through our meal. It was average, at best. The next day, none of the three of us felt good, but naturally I felt the worst since I half-ate my cold Kung Pao. Overall, I felt like we wasted our money, still spent a ton, despite having a coupon/discount, and we felt sick the next day. The folks are nice, and I wish this place was better, but it just wasn't. We will not be back again.

Oldy but a goody. The fried rice will forever be a 5! I had not eaten at this spot in the new location. We did and Uber Eats. Veggie fried rice delicious. The honey chicken also delicious. The Crab Rangoon also very tasty. Partner ordered the orange beef. He enjoyed it, it was not my thing. Biggest gripe... my fortune cookie was empty!

Had lunch here today. I have probably eaten here a dozen times or more. Just dawned on me that I have never left them a review. At any rate. The side salads were refreshing and salad was crisp. Ginger dressing was great. Calamari was good and plentiful for the price. The Fulin's Platter had ample food. The chicken sticks were delish and hot. The crab Rangoons were tasty. The egg and spring rolls and shrimp were great. The beef ribs and wonton soup while good needed to be hotter. The ribs were pretty cold and the soup was like warm. All in all a very good lunch with some leftovers to boot.

I don't give out many 5 star reviews however this plane gets one for a lot of reasons. The staff is super friendly and helpful and happy for grateful for your business. In today's service department this is rare these days so thank you for making us feel like we walked into your home. The food was amazing and fresh it was easy to see they took pride in the food they made. The crab Rangoon's were the best I've tasted YTD. The seafood soup, again it was amazing. My wife couldn't stop complimenting the noodles. They were fresh tasting as if they made their own noodles. Can't say enough good things about the flavor, freshness and temperature of the food. A++ We will see you again !!!

Delicious! Perfect location for me, and anything I've ever ordered is super yummy! Great quality/flavors.

Salad and miso soup were good. My son enjoyed his murfreesboro roll but my other son was disappointed his California roll didn't have cream cheese. I ordered sashimi dinner and aside from the fish not of good quality, bland, some were frozen too. My son commented that it was like icecream--not the good kind. Service was attentive so a star for that.

This is my to go spot for Chinese food. The owners are so sweet. They are the only place in town with a lot of veggie options. The food is always fresh and they will go out of their way to help you get something you can eat. The food is delicious can't go wrong with this place. There are a few of my favorites below.

3.5 above average Chinese spot that has sushi and other Japanese dishes. I liked the decor and the atmosphere. I loved the crab rangoons here. It was very scrumptious! If I ever came back, it would definitely be for the crab rangoons. I had the crunchy shrimp roll, but I requested it with NO eel sauce or fish eggs. I requested mine with spicy mayo sauce. I also had the Happy Family dish. It was a stir fry of a little bit of everything. The sauce wasn't bad. I really liked the hot sake here. I had the green apple flavor. It was soooooo good.

    Octopus and Volcano Roll

In total, we ordered crab rangoon, octopus, two volcano rolls, and a tiger roll. The food was delicious and got to us pretty quickly. We had plenty leftover for lunch, also. I can't wait to give it another shot and use my $5 coupon!

Showing up after church, the dining area was only about 20% full. It is located in a very dismal strip mall. It is a bright spot and has not brought any life back to it. Once inside, the ambiance and decorations still make you glad you arrived. There are wonderful bamboo sculptures, vases, and flowers. On my first review, I praised the open kitchen and how you could see the chef hand pull noodles. That is covered up now because their original offering of eight different shapes made on site is down to only one. Two other offerings are NOT made on site. I ordered flat noodles and was quite disappointed. They were not made there, were overcooked and tasted bland. The broth and the meat were still wonderful. While service was excellent when they first opened, it is quite poor now. You must order off a tableside wireless computerized menu. I do not like that, preferring the nice menu they had before so I could skim and scan to zero in on my choice. When I asked if I was allowed to talk to my server, she said, "only if I am not busy". Sorry, but I like to discuss the menu options to learn more and see if I could customize my order. At the end of the meal, my server asked if everything was OK. I voiced the complaints listed above and she said, "Yea, well, that's the way it is now. You must have come when we first opened. Things have changed." One of the employees from the back made me very uncomfortable. When he was not busy (which was often) he would stand behind the counter and either cross his arms or put them on his hips and stare at the dining area. I had a very hard time avoiding his gaze. I thought his interest was on me only. I will NOT come back. There are better restaurants closer to my house. This place has really gone downhill. In fact, she said that the same owners owned another nearby restaurant. I will not be there either.

Ordering from the tabletop computer was easy, though I wish starters came out first since everything arrives as it's made. Also, I'd love if they moved the soda machines from the kitchen window--it would be nice to watch the staff make the noodles they're known for. We ordered the pork bao buns, hamburger, General Tso's chicken, and beef noodles with brown sauce. Every dish was delicious, but the General Tso's was easily the best I've ever had--perfectly balanced, not overly sauced or battered. The noodles and broth were also amazing. We were too full to finish the burger, but it was still tasty. I'd definitely come back to try more. Shoutout to Jadin for her friendly, refreshing service! Next time, leave the broth

We ordered the green bean salad, fried meatballs, Firecracker Shrimp, 505 fried chicken skins, and chicken Pad Thai, along with a green Thai tea. The green bean salad at level 3 spice was perfect--just the right amount of heat with a fresh, crunchy texture that made every bite enjoyable. The Firecracker Shrimp definitely lived up to its name with a nice kick, while the fried meatballs were cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, soft with a pleasant chew on the inside. Both paired wonderfully with the sweet chili sauce served alongside them. The 505 fried chicken skins were another standout. They had the perfect crunch and the seasoning added just enough spice to keep you reaching for another piece. To cool things down, I ordered the green Thai tea, which was sweet, refreshing, and the perfect complement to all the spicy dishes. The chicken Pad Thai is always a favorite. The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and the portion size is generous enough to enjoy for a second meal later. Our server was Jaylin and she was ate five and came by to check in to make sure we didn't need anything! The cafe has a laid back atmosphere. Sabaidee Cafe continues to be one of my go-to spots for consistently delicious food, generous portions, and great flavors. Highly recommend!
