This is a total hidden gem. Honestly I've seen it plenty of times and never occurred to me to visit. We finally went in looking for coffee and we found a lot more Thant just coffee. They have a full menu and a solid list of coffee/tea options. I had the Vietnamese coffee (iced and hot) and I cannot decide which one I liked better. The man who took my order was happy to answer my questions. The pho was so delicious, my husband and I got the large bowls for 12.99 and I honestly wanted to finish the remaining broth but could not , but it was a good portion and we really loved it! My husband and I stopped in to Coffee Fusion on our way through town. They had great reviews and I'm a bit of a coffee snob so I don't mind paying a bit more for a great cup of coffee. I ordered a XL Breve which the board said was $5.50 but when she cashed me out she charged me $10.75. I said to her, I think you did something wrong, and the owner, who was preparing the coffee, said, the board was wrong, because the cost of half and half went up to $8 dollars a half gallon. I was stunned. I took the coffee and left only to get outside and find my coffee was warm at best. While the taste was fine it definitely wasn't worth $11 dollars. Buyer beware. read more

Brought a friend who had a perfect Bahn Mi. The baguette was perfectly toasted and the fillings flavorful. I had Chicken Tom Yum. In 1976, the first Laotian refugee families came to Murfreesboro. Ever since then, thousands have settled in this town. Murfreesboro is known for some of the best Laotian food in middle Tennessee so whenever I'm in town I'm always on the hunt for some authentic Laotian food. I was working from across street and came for lunch. The server was super nice and accommodating, even allowing me to use her personal phone charger. Menu is on the wall and everything looked delicious. I had Laotian chicken noodle soup which was Devine considering the fact that I was under the weather. It hit the spot. I also had Banh mi combo which was crispy and delicious. Maybe not the best banh mi I have ever had in the Nashville area but close. The name "Coffee Fusion" is a little deceiving because it doesn't just serve coffee beverages, but also whole-ass meals ranging from Banh mi, pho, Thai noodle dishes, soups, etc. I really like this place because for a coffee shop, all the food items they serve are pretty good and I think several are better than most Asian fusion restaurants. With that said, this place has something for everyone, whether you want a quick coffee beverage, a small snack, or 5 course meal. The spring roll is fresh and good. I don't recommend eating it with the complimentary sauce; ask for the hoisin sauce for the substitute. The Banh mi is pretty good for its price value, although it's a tad over toasted. The pho is light but still delivers in flavor. I would like to see more protein considering I ordered a large combo. The drunken noodle is tasty and I appreciate that they use the authentic wide noodles that most Thai restaurants in the area neglect to use. I really love the milk tea and I think it's what all milk tea should taste like - light and balanced between milk and tea with no overwhelming aftertaste. Service is friendly and attentive. They pro about Coffee Fusion is their location and that the building is newer. With that being said, I feel like it should've been cleaner. You look around and look up, there's dust everywhere. I got their chicken ladnah along with chicken egg rolls. The portions are fairly large, but I have to say it was a little disappointing. The gravy was bland, I had to add a lot of seasoning to it and it still wasn't that great. The noodles were just ok. The egg rolls were crispy but barely had any chicken in it and it was bland as well. So when is a "coffee shop" much more than a coffee shop? When it's called CoffeeFusion. This is a small store that offers the flavors of Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and America. They serve breakfast, hot & cold expresso drinks, Bubble Tea (I tasted the Peach...was really good), several soups to include Pho, and a long list of Asian cuisine. My daughter tried the fried rice and chicken egg rolls. I went for the Combo Pho and an order of chicken on a stick. The fried rice and egg-rolls were excellent and the dipping sauce for the egg-rolls had just the right amount of sweetness along with a bit of a kick. The Combo Pho was really good with the meats all cooked well and the noodles still had a bit of a bite to them. Really didn't need to add anything to the dish...I enjoyed it just as it came. The chicken on a stick was good, but I asked for a side of the sauce for the egg rolls and that made them really delicious. The folks serving, cooking, and managing the place were so welcoming and nice even spending time at our table talking. Of course it helps when you have a cute little granddaughter to entertain everyone! I need to get back here and try the Duck Soup, Banh Mi sandwiches, and their 3-Flavored fish. WOW! I was pleasantly surprised this morning when Patty brought me home some Pho (beef and seafood combo). It was from Coffee Fusion here in Murfreesboro which is owned by a Laotian man who specializes in Thai/Lao/Vietnamese food and drinks. When she first told me where she bought it I was very skeptical, but after opening it and tasting all that they ordered, I was wowed! The only real downside to the Pho was the imitation crab-what a bummer. And the broth, though very tasty, I believe is made from a starter instead of being cooked overnight. But don't let that keep you from ch cling them out. The pork roast and chick skewers were AMAZING!!!! I could drink the broth the pork comes in for days. And the chicken skewer is luscious!!! They also have a huge selection of Asian drinks. I just wish they had an Ice Kachang or Halo Halo I will definitely go back to experience the Pho in house. My oldest son said the bowl was massive! Not what I am used to as far as Thai food. The restaurant is coffee in the morning then lunch and dinner Thai food. Very limited menu and most what I normally order at Thai restaurants wasn't on it. Don't remember what I ordered but I can tell youI have no idea what some of the ingredients were. One might have been a maple leaf, stem included. The taste wasn't bad but for a guy that struggles with texture it was less than wonderful. Too bad as it is right next door to the hotel. read more
