I came here for Latin night on a Thursday and I had a blast! This place is new and located in a plaza next to Bacowca restaurant and KD Deli. Upon entry I was ID by security and on I went, I noticed how clean and immaculate this place looks, although is small, it is one good looking club. the seating area is new, clean and comfy, staff is super nice, drink/food menu placed on the table, Menu lights up as you open it for your convenience :) average drink prices are 10.00, I also noticed some small appetizers bites on the menu, not bad for the atmosphere. So, thrusday is Latin nights, they have free salsa lessons from 8-10 and the instructor is amazing, he really spends the one on one time with you and you learn from him. He is super friendly and great teacher. I did not visit the Loo so I cannot comment on it. Other than that, the staff is super attentive, they kept checking on us to ensure we did not need anything and ensure we were OK. I will come back to this place. One piece of advice I would give is.. Advertise more so it attracts bigger crowd, this place is amazing and people need to know about it

I love the variety of their food menu! They have steak, salmon, chicken, pork, shrimp, duck, lamb, pasta, and some really nice appetizers. We ordered the charcuterie board and thought it was the perfect size for the two of us. Not many places offer duck, so I had to order it for dinner! The duck leg comes with carrots and duck fat roasted potatoes. It was incredibly delicious and tender. The flavor of the sauce was rich and paired great with the carrots and potatoes. Only thing is I did think some of the prices were a bit high compared to some other places I've been that serve similar quality food. Our waiter was nice and provided good service overall! I think this would be a cute spot for a date night.

We were seated immediately and greated by Marc our server who was amazing. They have an extensive wine and bourbon list as well as a variety of crafted cocktails. Started with the Burrata appetizer and an order of baked oysters. Delicious! For our main entrees we had the Shells on Shells pasta which was loaded with seafood but my wife was disappointed that the pasta was not shell pasta. I had the Shrimp Bruschetta which was loaded with shrimp and tasted amazing. Portions are huge but they were so good we had no leftovers .lol. For our Anniversary they surprised us with some gelato and I had to try their famous Bourbon Pecan Pie. Very good but I brought half of it home. We ended the night with an Expresso Martini. This is truly a hidden gem located in downtown Roselle.

A lot of great cocktails to choose from. The prices are okay for quality. Checked it out after finding it was around here. It's at the golf course so you may think it's fancy stuff. This is actually a lot more casual looking though. A lot of crazy concoctions. The bartender was competing on the Drink Masters show. Eclectic cocktails. Lots of variety. It's about $16 for a cocktail. Worth it for the flavor and presentation. Best we had of these was the Cool As A Cucumber. This was made with Planteray Coconut Rum along with cucumber syrup, lime, and Vita Coco coconut water. Also has a few selections of small bites. It's about $10 for appetizers such as Shiitake Potstickers. Actually pretty limited. The drinks are better than the food obviously. Got to say it's an experience. It's located on Orchard Street. Well, this is about as close to doing so as you can easily get, because Tao opened NST, and this is his creation (in fact, I saw him there during my first visit!). Many of the other reviews cover the drinks really well, so there's little else to add. If you're there for "classic" cocktails, this isn't really the place (although, the foie gras old fashioned was super, sort of classic, but also unique). The point of the place is to drink flavors you've never tasted in a glass before. The BLT cocktail...literally tastes like an actual BLT (literally!)...except you're drinking it rather than chewing it. This place is so great, employees seem to really love their job. The only negative experience I've had there was related to a group of 10 or so who showed up, and this was clearly not their first stop of the evening. They were loud and already clearly buzzed, and just ordered Modelos. Not NST's fault, but I say this to say: if you come here, you should come to get completely immersed in this one-of-a-kind experience.

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

We ordered the Zombie (a trio of light, gold, and dark rum with lemon, lime, passion fruit, and bitters - limit two per customer), the Navy Grog (lime, grapefruit, honey liquor, light rum, dark rum, and Demerara rum), the Painkiller (Pusser's rum, fresh nutmeg, pineapple, orange, and cream of coconut), and the Pineapple Coconut Delight (white rum, coconut, orgeat, pineapple, and lemon). The drinks were very good and I liked the sweetness in the drinks we chose. The drinks that we were served were very strong. I can see why some of them have a two drink limit. Ron kept telling us about the his brother who cooks in the kitchen. He is a classically trained chef, but we were unable to try any of the food because the kitchen is closed on Monday. I called and spoke to with Frank and he was kind enough to reluctantly reserve a couple tables for us, only if I promised to have at least 20 people. He informed me he would charge me if I didn't show with 20 people, which I understood because after all, he could have reserved those tables for other parties and he already had a large party booked for the bar. I started to get nervous about a week before after reading many negative reviews about the place, including reviews stating people were discriminated against, forced to leave, had horrible service from their waitress, etc. I couldn't be happier with the way the night turned out and the way in which we were treated. When we arrived, there was a coat check available and the lobby was beautiful! I was very impressed with the ambience and decor. Our group included many people from diverse backgrounds including black, white, Asian, etc. I didn't feel discriminated against at all and our waitress, although extremely busy, was always checking on us and took care of our needs. She recommended some amazing drinks and despite what other reviews stated, was happy to keep separate tabs for people in our group. One of the men working that night bought my husband a drink for his birthday and at one point the DJ announced everyone's birthdays and the staff brought out a large piece of cake for each of the people there who were celebrating their birthday. I expected an older crowd since I read that VLounge attracted older people but that's what we were looking for since we are not as young as we used to be and would stick out like a sore thumb at any club, yet still wanted a sort of club experience. The crowd was a bit older than I even expected but everyone was nice and there to have a good time. We didn't experience anyone being rude and the dance floor was poppin'! I was pleasantly surprised! I have nothing but good things to say. The drinks were priced reasonably with a good amount of alcohol in them. The calamari was absolutely amazing! The ranch dressing, which one reviewer stated was disgusting, was one of the best I've had. I was happy they actually had ranch dressing because most Italian places do not have ranch. You can tell it's homemade, too and it was the perfect dipping sauce for their calamari. The calamari came out nice and hot and crispy and there were no ro rubbery pieces or weird looking pieces (like usual) that nobody wants to eat and are just left on the plate as waste. The place was PACKED, so of course our server was not able to keep up with the empty glasses and plates on our table but that did not impact our night in any way. I read one negative review stating that the empties were not removed from the table fast enough. I think sometimes people just look for something to complain about because it was completely understandable, considering the amount of people our waitress was serving and how hard it was to move around in the room. The bathrooms were clean but at one point in the night, there was a girl in the stall next to mine throwing up and it was all over the floor, including splashing all the way over into my stall and onto my shoes. It was pretty disgusting but when I exited the stall, I was happy to see staff in the restroom trying to take care of the situation. I believe many of the negative reviews I previously read were unfortunately from people who wanted to come for the free entertainment and were too cheap to spend any money on drinks or food or were not dressed appropriately. Furthermore, any reviewer claiming discrimination...it is my opinion that the reviewer must have been rude or had to have done something to warrant a negative response from the employee. I do not feel any if the employees were discrimanatory. Either that or it was an isolated situation and thankfully, we didn't have that experience! I do wish the staff had nametags so I could have known my server's name or I could have met Frank, considering I was speaking to him on and off the few weeks prior to our event. It also would've been nice to know the gentleman's name who was working the room when we were there and interacting with our group, since he was extremely cordial and professional. All of our guests told us what a fun time they had and what a nice place VLounge was. We don't get out much these days due to our children being young but I do hope we get a chance to go back! I urge you to give VLounge a chance and check it out for yourself! You won't be disappointed!

The dessert we had was also fun and flavorful! Really enjoyed that aspect of the experience. The service was mostly decent. The waiter came by to check on things a bunch and the food came out fairly quickly. That was a good thing since like a lot of Mexican places, this one does not offer free chips and salsa. They were slow to refill drinks... that were not alcohol. I definitely got the feeling their bottom line depended on upselling liquor. It felt like we were an inconvenience asking for more water. The place was packed, so we were expecting some amount of noise. We also understood we were there on a Saturday when most people are out for a sloppy good time. At almost exactly 9:30pm, they turned the music up to insanely loud. It was impossible to hear anyone in our small group.
