1 Star We spent over $800 for service at our place of business, and after the initial visit, this company completely disappeared. No returned calls, no follow-up, nothing. The only appointments we could get through the service line ended in two separate no-call, no-show visits. Because we had to halt what we were doing and be available for these appointments, we've now lost money and work time waiting on people who couldn't even be bothered to show up or call. I filed a formal complaint with the local manager, and -- no surprise -- it was ignored too. For a company that charges this much, the service is beyond unacceptable. We have a problem with birds getting into our attic. When our service technician came last month, they stated that they could get rid of the birds and use a special heavy duty mess that would prevent them from coming back. This cost us $450.00. After it was completed, i still noticed and heard birds in the attic. When I called them to come back, they said that they were unable to guarantee that the original solution would actually work. However, they would send someone back out. They were supposed to come today between 10 and 12. However, when I called the "local" number, we were told our service had been rescheduled for a week from now. We aren't even available the day they rescheduled and we were never notified that they were going to reschedule. When i asked to speak to the loval manager, i was told the message was sent to them and it would take a "day or two" for them to call us back. My advice - go with a local company, even if it costs more. TERMINIX is NOT worth the supposed cost savings. I will also be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau. read more

As an update to my earlier review, Terminix has not reached out to resolve anything, but only to send Robocall collections after me, after my bank sided with me that they shouldn't get my auto payment if they are not performing the service I hired them for. Be warned that pest control sounds like a good service to get, but much like a gym membership they are looking for you to not take advantage and do the bare minimum for you. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Heck, if I could give them NEGATIVE stars I would which I hate to say because I used them for several years without issue but I recommended them to my grandmother who had nothing but problems. I am posting this review on my grandmother's behalf and warning, it's a long one: the backstory is that my grandmother ended up with a bug infestation after bringing a new piece of furniture into her home. She's never dealt with any sort of infestation before and was quite distraught so I told her about Terminix whom I'd used for several years when I still lived in the area. It was difficult to even get ahold of them to begin with. She tried calling using the number listed in the phone book to no avail and we tried a couple of different numbers we found online. It took a while to even be able to reach anyone. When she finally did, they said they were going to send someone out. No one showed and she was unable once again to get ahold of anyone. This is when I initially became involved. I was able to get ahold of customer service and they apologized and they were able to get someone sent out to do the inspection a few days later. The inspector told her it was a "mild/moderate" infestation and that she'd have various treatment options. She paid up front for treatment ( almost 1800 dollars) that was supposed to cover 6 months of treatment. He had the tech come out a few days later but no different treatment options were discussed. She had to leave for a few hours during treatments, which was fine and expected. At first, the tech was coming every couple of weeks, as discussed. Then it was a month before he showed up again. Then it was MONTHS and she couldn't get ahold of anyone, I contacted customer service repeatedly and they were scheduling appointments that no one was showing up for, and they were attempting to get the local and regional offices to reach out to us. They never did even after multiple phone calls were made and emails were sent by the customer service reps. I eventually requested that my grandmother receive a refund since after 6 months, her house hadn't been treated consistently and she was still dealing with the same infestation. After the refund request someone from the local branch finally reached out to "look into" the situation and the next day determined that she didn't qualify for a refund despite their complete and utter incompetence and lack of communication for MONTHS. I pitched a fit and sent the guy a copy of the phone calls I'd made to customer service so they could listen and hear exactly what was going on but that was June 21st and I've yet to hear back from anyone. At this point, it seems they feel they can cheat an elderly woman out of nearly 1800 dollars. She eventually hired Extermco to treat her home. They found that the infestation was still a moderate one and showed her the bugs so she could see them herself at every stage of maturity as well as eggs. They charged her about half of what Terminix did, they came out on time, were easy to get ahold of AND in one treatment, they got rid of bugs that Terminix couldn't get rid of in 6 months. Save your money and sanity by hiring literally anyone else besides Terminix. I will be leaving this review on every possible platform I can and we will be filing a consumer complaint with the Attorney General. read more

I recently signed up Terminix to insulate my attic with rodent resistant insulation. The promise was to bring the quantity of insulation up to code and chase off the rodents. Well there is no more signs of rodents. I crawled in the attic to see what they did and was severely disappointed at what I saw. There are large areas that appear to have NO added insulation and lot of areas with less than code quantities. I called the local Terminix office and they sent out a kid named Andrew from Fort Smith Arkansas to investigate. He gets out of his truck with his "Little Boy" tape measure (a tiny 3' keychain tape measure) and go about his investigation.he sticks he kid tape in a hole he dug and the tape rolls up and wont stay strait. Then he is like "yup that's good"! I have been on the phone every week for the last month trying to get a response. They tell me "they have forwarded this to their managers and the should be calling in the next few days". I hear nothing but crickets. So I will copy and paste this every place I think someone might read it. I am open to suggestions as to where else I can post this to let everyone know of the terrible service received. read more

Why they don't send me a message the day before they come, I said that my appointments are on Monday or Tuesday, I don't care what they spray outside, when inside my house there are mosquitoes, ants and more insects, and when I call the company nobody answers, ... bad company, they do what they want, not what customers want Why they never answer the calls??? My dad called the Fort Smith Terminix office 3 times and it went right to voicemail over a 2 month period. What are YOU doing in that office that your phone has to go to voicemail. Got NO return calls. Called 866-587-0101 And finally talked to a human being. This review pertains to the administration/management of Terminix, as I received excellent service from the technician. The problem is that when I ordered the service, I gave a personal check to the inspector who came out to evaluate my problem. Terminix did not properly process the check so I got a msg that my payment could not be processed. No one at Terminix could tell me what was the problem (there were plenty of funds in my account to pay). After almost a month of back and forth, I ordered a Bank Check from my bank and requested some one come to pick it up as the office in Ft Smith is closed and no one is there. After about a week, a tech came out and I gave him the Bank Check. However I am still being dunned for payment, there is no way to actually speak to anyone at Terminix unless I put in a callback request and I am beyond frustrated. The few times I was contacted by Terminix, I explained the situation and was told it would be taken care of. However today I received yet another PAST DUE notice from Terminix! Somebody there needs to find out what is going on and leave me alone!!!! read more

I call the company at the fort smith Location I informed her I did not want there business anymore( Jan 12 2020). I was informed she didn't need my business!! That is right she didn't need it!! Feb 16 I received a knock on my door. A Gentleman said he was here to set my baits for termites, I informed him of my conversation I had with the lady and he apologized for the incident. He said they were trying to fix there office and hiring more people. I already paid for services and did not receive them!! He stated that I was good and I didn't need anything from them. March 7, 2020 at 16:51,a phone call !!! they are going to pick up the baits I already paid for !!! I told her no I had already spoke to the gentleman and he said those were mine. At 5:15 I called and spoke with someone who asked me what!? She forwarded me to Customer Service rep I have been on hold for 40.00 mins. yes I hung up!! Tech arrived without a confirmed appointment on a SATURDAY morning. We went ahead and let him do the treatment. He was not apologetic. Said he left a message; in fact the message was sent 10 minutes before he arrived. Five minutes AFTER my wife returned home. It took four phone calls and greater than a hour of holding time to finally speak with a local manager. I called Saturday and finally gave up after holding 20 minutes. The local manager did apologize. He made a note (that should have already been in our file) to make positive contact before attempting service. It took numerous phone transfers to get to the local office. Terminex corporate does NOT want you talking to the local managers. Nor do they care if you mention you are about to terminate Terminex. I have a regular tech out on medical leave. If it were not for him I would have pulled the plug. read more

Terminix is not a good service I would give no stars if I could. First off they did an inspection and said I was bug free. Then I found bugs a month later. I made a complaint and was supposed to be contacted back within 48 hrs but wasn't. So I called back after waiting a week and explained what happened and ask for someone to spray but they said I needed another inspection first. I asked for them not to send out the same person again. The said they was sending out someone else but I got the same guy and he was confrontational. So I had my house sprayed the guy said with as many bugs as I had the first guy should have noticed it. The spray didn't kill all the bugs so I called them out again but was told I was only covered for a month. I was told by everyone who came out it was 90 days guaranteed. I even noticed it said in the web site 90 days guaranteed. I called to find out what was going on waited on hold 1 and a half hours before I was disconnected. Also the boxspring covers are thin and ripped as soon as they slid it down the metal frame. Worst service ever. Now I've been in self quarantine with bugs waiting for it to be safe enough to get a new company to remove them. read more
