I like the small complex and don't feel like I'm in some giant industrial sized one. Manager Josephine is very professional and has always been on top of things. She also DOES NOT tolerate any riff-raff. Some people may get turned off by her, but that's fine with me. The maintenance guy Ken is also great and on top of things. He gets up every morning and picks up trash and on snowy days puts salt on my doorstep before I even leave my house :) The townhome design is nice there is no one above you and it feels bigger than it is. The walls are great and I can hardly hear my neighbors. I didn't know my neighbor had two dogs and a toddler till I met her. My only wish was that my apt had a washer and dryer cause the small laundry room was busy sometimes. Some of the apartments do have washer and dryer hook-ups if available. My utilities are always under $100 a month, maybe the most at $120 in the middle of summer. There is also a petroglyph trail behind the complex that many tenants take walks with their dogs or I have gone jogging there. There is also some beautiful city views from the trail. I have been very pleased with this place and would recommend it.

I discovered this because I started searching for a new place after just a few months--my car had been deliberately damaged with rocks by a neighbor (caught on video). While the renovated apartments are decent (though far from luxurious), it's clear that the upgrades are superficial, and the management is by far the worst I've ever encountered. Jacqueline and Ayda, the individuals in charge, are unprofessional, manipulative, and vindictive. You don't even need to do anything wrong to receive this treatment--in fact, if you voice concerns or are a victim, they will treat you even worse. I have documented proof of harassment, false accusations, and gaslighting from both of them. I had to hire an attorney just to get through the last few months of my lease because of how appalling their behavior was. When I tried to reach out to New Earth Residential's main office in Colorado, my calls were ignored. This management team acts as though they control the community rather than serving it. They misuse their authority, bullying residents with a sense of power that is entirely unjustified. Honestly, I doubt they would succeed anywhere else. People like this--narcissistic and abusive--should not hold any leadership positions. Beyond the management issues, the community itself has taken a turn for the worse. There's a regular presence of intoxicated people at the dog park harassing neighbors, the landscaping is neglected, the security gate is often broken or left open, and the rules that should be enforced simply aren't. If you're a professional looking for a decent place to live, steer clear of this property. I recently moved to a place managed by Greystar, and the difference is night and day. Via Vista may still have a 4.8-star rating on Apartments.com, but nearly all those reviews are from before New Earth took over. Shame on you, New Earth Residential--you had the potential to maintain a nice community, but your poor management decisions ruined it. I'm certain I won't be the last to experience this, and in the end, I believe karma will catch up to those responsible.

I found exactly what I was looking for at Entrada Pointe. I've enjoyed my time living here. It's a humble little community with everything I mentioned above, and It's also really close to a couple of grocery stores, brew pubs, post office, and restaurants; almost everything is within walking or biking distance. All of this would be good enough, but the best part is the staff. These ladies run a great operation. Always very welcoming, reliable, helpful, and everything is always spot-on. I had one maintenance request that I put in on a Sunday evening, and it was fixed by lunchtime on Monday. I'll be heading back to my happy home soon, but there will be a lot to miss from my time in Rio Rancho and Entrada Pointe.

The women who have helped me were awesome! Ashley who was the person who I had initially worked with to get my lease finalized she was always very responsive to me, she had made sure that all my needs were met. The light bulb went out in front of my door and I had put in a work order with them and Ashley followed up with me knowing I was alone that week and the maintenance crew quickly switched the lightbulb. Leia, was so friendly and she was so kind when she did my move in, and explained everything to me. The property is older, but I was so excited to see that the everything looked brand new. The manager was also very responsive to me as well when she followed up with me on how my move in was going and had asked if there was anything that needed to be done to make my new home, homie. Never knew the answers to my questions...always had to check with someone, but the Owner was who I signed my management contract with. Did not enforce or even know the terms of the management contract I signed. I arrived to clean the house and they did not want to send me the cleaning fee, sighting, visits to the property to check after tenant departed was part of the cleaning fee. But the contract listed, cleaning fee is for cleaning services ONLY. The cleaning fee was finally sent. Enough was enough. Very unprofessional and I have EVERY email and text message to back up my experiences. I am sure there is a good reason why the reviews are years old. Not many recent reviews are present. I noticed the old dates of the reviews and decided to take a chance. Complete waste of my time and money. There is a reason for lack of recent reviews, if a business is still operating. And had the audacity to charge me a 15% management fee when the going rate is 10%. For 15% I was expecting outstanding service and professionalism. Never really searched for tenants, full of excuses and told me her job was showing properties...REALLY??? A property management company??? Your duties are to search for tenants, take care of AND maintain a property in your care. If you are a tenant, looking for a furnished rental, this is a great place for you. But if you are an Owner, looking for a great property management company to take care of your property if you live out of state, the saying buyer beware comes to mind.
