Funky, tasty, authentic local spot. Same fella as everyone else reports. Doesn't need to be liked and that's OK by me.

Had breakfast there on a sunny Sunday morning. Wife had plenty of gluten free options and the green chile huervo rancheros were amazing.

When you first arrive there are two parts to the restaurant. One part is just for food and the other is for cake and desserts. We knew we wanted food so we went to the entrance on the right. The menu is quite simple and they specialize on French pastries/breakfast items. I got the Westcoast Montreal Bagel. They really nailed it. I love the smoke salmon in it along with the alfalfa. The bagel was made the Montreal way. It was nice and chewy. It had the right texture. I loved it. B had the large poutine. It was a bit peppery but that was very tasty. They were very generous on the cheese curd which was really nice. Seating can be hard to find given the restaurant isn't very big. There are seatings outside as well. Most people eat and then leave. We ended up sitting on the sofa with the fireplace which was not bad. We do prefer a normal table that was ok for us. I tried a piece of my friend's sticky bun and that was very tasty as well. It is kind of messy to eat. So far the items I tried were tasty. They do have street parking and parking lot dedicated to their customer.

If you get the BLT make sure you get it all dressed as the tangy from the pickle elevates the Sandwhich. Services was good, staff were friendly and prompt. They have a nice patio outside along with lots of inside seating.

My friend and I came here Sunday of a long weekend (Labor Day), around 11:30. There were 2-3 groups…read morein front of us in line, but the wait wasn't too bad, and we got seated after 15 minutes. We both had a phenomenal dining experience here. My friend got the veggie breakfast burrito ($14.25), which according to him was really good. I was starving and wanted something hearty, so I decided to go with the steak and eggs ($16.25). It's been a long time since I've had steak, but the one here was excellent especially for the price. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare and it was very tender. It also had enough salt and other spices for flavor. I don't know if it was because I was really enjoying the steak or not, but even the potatoes here tasted better than normal. The kitchen works quickly too; our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. I also noticed the other tables were getting turned around quickly as well. We will be back next time we drive past Golden.

The entry needs a bit tidying up to be welcoming, but the inside is kind of cute and clean enough. We were greeted and seated promptly. I had the Big Bend Hot Cereal, which was okay. Sorry to say, I didn't feel safe adding the fresh fruit cup. Hubby had the pulled pork breakfast sandwich, which was very good. The major disappointment was the coffee. It was super super weak. There was no saving it, and for a breakfast place weak coffee is a deal breaker. It wasn't like Denny's weak, it was almost-water weak. Maybe just an off pot; but it was bad.

Much needed in the height of summer temperature reaching the mid to high 30c. It still carries Bee Kind amenities and I love that brand! It is outside the downtown area of Revelstoke, so you will need to drive into town or take the shuttle for $2 per way. It is about 5 mins away. I like the hot tub. There are two! One outdoor with a view of the mountains and everyone looking at you. The other is in the lower level where the small fitness center is. There are also steam room and sauna and shower area and lounge area there. There are also complimentary beverages like coffee, tea (teavana) and fruit infused water in the morning. After that, only water is available. The lounge area is quite big with a pool table. You can be kept occupied even if you spend a whole day indoors. I'll stay here again if I ever visit Revelstoke again.

Always cool with gentle breeze or a fresh rain shower. Staff very polite and helpful. Bar, restaurant, hot tubs, and sit around kind of areas. Nice, so maybe more stays planned.
