Instead of asking if anything has changed, they basically make you do the job of the front desk lady and fill everything out yourself. In coming here for an initial cleaning and exam, I noticed a lot of differences from my usual Dallas dentist. One, they don't use a different polish on veneers than on regular teeth (which my previous dentist did). Two, the tech who worked on my teeth was rough, especially on the gum line around my veneer. And three, while the office design was nice, the technology they used for the cleaning was a bit old-school (dated). I'm just used to a practice that uses newer forms of cleaning and polishing procedure. As I was private pay, the total was $250+, which is highway robbery for a simple cleaning. I go every few months, so my teeth are almost always never a problem. I was in and out in 30-40 minutes. The cost didn't come anywhere near equating to the experience. They confirmed they did but after my appointment they said, "oh, you need to pay us directly and your insurance is to reimburse you". They ended up getting that squared away and now directly get payment from my insurance after about 2/3 weeks of phone tag to get refunded. Further, I had an appointment for last week that I called to reschedule (technically it was 2 appointments booked for the same day and time). I called and explained I needed to reschedule my appointments to the following Monday as I wasn't going to make the original day and time... they only reschedule one, and I was smacked with a late/no notice fee for the other. When I called they said "oh we only rescheduled one but as a courtesy I can waive the no show fee". There shouldn't have been a fee in the first place. The receptionist was rude and didn't really care to be friendly or helpful. When I asked when the next appointment available was for my treatment she rudely said "mid July". At that point I chose to cancel all appointments due to their unprofessionalism. Not a single apology was rendered for incorrectly rescheduling my services just an "okay" when I asked to cancel.
