They said I have to email a request to cancel. I said, I'm not asking if I can cancel, I'm demanding that you cancel my account. I also sent a time and date stamped email canceling. Now 2 months later I get a bill in the mail saying I'm late with late fee's. I just called them and they were very rude and said there is nothing they can do about it. There is something I can do about it. Better business bureau. If this bill is not taken care of I have my business attorneys on retainer. They have terrible business practices.

They sent someone out to my home said that I needed an upgrade that had to be done.. I paid the guy and signed his work order...I decided just a few days later to cancel my relationship with protech and go to another company due to the fact that protech was unable to fulfill what was needed for my family. I called to cancel my service and the lady was so rude on the phone and said that will be a 1000.00 dollars ...you are under a three year contract...I told her that was totally unbeknownst to myself or my husband and after 17 years why would I sign a three year contract ...it's all so fishy...I pleaded with her only to fall on deaf ears. Boy ...how is that for taking care of your customers .... They should really be ashamed ... We called to cancel the service and the person…read moreanswering the phone asked why and made sure to notify the right people about the issue we were having. Their service person came out yesterday and got the alarm and the phone app working and he stayed well past 5:00pm to make sure everything worked perfectly! He also changed the contact information on the panel and moved an oddly place motion sensor. He was very personable and patient and I appreciate Gilmore standing by their initial quote and getting our alarm system operating correctly. I recommend them - just make sure you get a quote in writing before hiring them.
