The appetizers are the true highlight, the mozzarella triangles and bruschetta are so good! The mozzarella triangles and marinara are probably the best version of fried cheese that I've had. The bruschetta is bursting with flavor and is not something you'd expect on the menu here. The entrees were all good, with the exception of the chicken tenders which were a bit of a letdown. The burger was massive and having the option to add toppings was a nice bonus. The salad was an enough for two meals for me and I appreciated the side of bread. The staff has been very friendly and attentive both times we've dined here. It definitely seems like a local favorite and is worth stopping by.

Server brought menus and made recommendations and described some of the choices. Homemade pizza dough. Homemade pasta. Special beer batter on fried cod. Two choices of Cole slaw. Prices were very reasonable and portions sufficient. There is a lunch portion and a dinner portion of several of the choices. Everything was excellent served in a timely manner and hot. Kudos to the kitchen. Will be back.

The 10 year old pictures on Castle Rock Bar & Grill Arizona show a different roof line and full out spelling of Castle Rock Bar & Grill Arizona. The current only spells out Castle Rock. Secondly, I stopped here on a whim on my way back from NASCAR in Vegas to my place in Havasu City. I did not plan on arriving during an awesome sunset. The waitress was so cheery and accommodating to seat me closest to the window facing west. I appreciate her opening the blinds too. Even the cook staff, wait staff and visitors were stunned as much as me over the gorgeous sunset. YOLO, now for the food and service. As mentioned before, the waitress seemed genuinely excited to be helpful. She could not have done anything better. I splurged a bit more than usual on myself and went with the dinner Basil Chimichurri NY Sirloin Strip. So glad I did!!!! So glad to custom my order with the waitresses input. The side salad was very good. Then the sauteed asparagus was delightful. Instead of ordering the curious Cactus Blossom as an appetizer, I took her advice and ordered a smaller portion as one of my sides. The steak arrived just as I ordered it. Perfection and delicious. I didn't mind trimming the fat as it was necessary for flavor during the cooking. Too bad the small hill of trimmed fat equaled 1/4 of the whole steak. The second most priciest meal on the menu but that's okay, YOLO.

We have gotten lucky and got Cynthia almost every time we go for happy hour (their specials are amazing) They have a large outdoor area so we can enjoy a pitcher and watch the game while the kids play cornhole. I go to this restaurant probably two maybe three times a month…read more I absolutely love them. They're food is wonderful. The atmosphere is really inviting. Actually we went there after my religious meeting one time and we were taking a friend who has major issues with certain sense. When the individual who was serving us was made aware of that he made sure not to wear any scent to accommodate us. It is so wonderful here. If you have not been here, you are really missing out on a wonderful experience. And I have not gotten anything here that I did not like.

Then the waitress comes by and said she sees pink in the middle, takes it back to finish cooking. Now the fish is like chewy jerky. The bones are unable to pull from the meat. It's so over cooked it was anything but eatable. I never said a word to management but came by to look at the fish and said that not right. I will make it up to you. $12 off a $33 red snapper. The chile relleno was absolutely not like anything I ever had. A grilled chile that was covered in tomato sauce. No cheese inside, no meat inside. Was absolutely not worth $14. 2 bites and I was done.. Ordered a flaming Cadillac margarita. Anything but a flaming margarita. I asked when served where is the flame? Pointed to a blue flame the size of a pencil eraser. That was barely going. Normal it's has a soaked slice of lime in 151 rum for the flame. Bartender gets an F As for the other items it was nothing to rave about. The meal was close to $90 and the manager knew we were not pleased. I gave the server a huge tip for this pile of garbage as it's not the servers fault that the cook was not a cook. The manager was impressed with the tip and said I didn't have to do that. I told him everyone needs to pay bills. Tip wasn't the problem. The food was. I explained I wouldn't ever eat there again. And knowing me I wouldn't recommend to anyone to try out the place. After 72 years dining this takes the prize of horrible food. I don't like posting this, I can turn the cheek and move on. But just common sense didn't play any part in how the food was cooked and served.

We dined outside on their large open patio, which had a relaxed and comfortable vibe, exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. I ordered the Caesar salad topped with chicken, fresh romaine, shaved Parmesan, crunchy croutons, and a solid dressing. Simple but well done and the portion was HUGE. For drinks, I had a Prickly Pear Margarita, which was refreshing and had just the right balance of sweet and tart. My sons ordered the Sud Soakers personal pan pizzas. My oldest got the Carnivore which came loaded with house sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon. It was rich and hearty without being overwhelming. My youngest had the Margherita, which was light and fresh with house sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, and sliced tomato. My husband ordered The Bichen Burger, which definitely lived up to its name; lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, pepperjack cheese, grilled jalapeños, and their signature "bichen sauce." It had a nice kick and was packed with flavor. Overall, it was a perfect stop: great food, generous portions, fun menu, and a really nice outdoor setting. A great way to end the day before heading back to Las Vegas where we were staying.
