Update! I've been trying out the food service since Nov. 20th and I have to say overall I'm very happy with the service. I opted to pick up my meals each week from a local gym instead of having my meals delivered to save on delivery fees. PROS: 1. The meals are mostly healthy/nutritious 2. The meals are proportionate 3. The meal packaging explain the calories and content 4. The food service is reliable 5. The packaging is looks nice and neat 6. There is a decent variety of meals on the menu 7. They change of the menu every week 8. You can rate the meals, to remember which meals you did not like and give the company feedback. 9. If you are on the regularly scheduled plan you can pause different weeks you don't want food delivered if you are going away for the week etc. 10. You can pick up your meals from a local gym to save on delivery fees each week. 11. The standard sized meals are pretty filling. CONS: 1. I'm not a fan of all of the meal choices as I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes or red peppers but that is obviously my personal preference so thank God you can customize your meals each week. Oh and you can't ask the chefs to remove ingredients as they are made in batches, not individually. 2. The company does not really have much of a over phone option to speak to customers directly. They only communicate via email. Not a huge issue, but I'm just old fashioned like that. 3. The meals are a bit pricey but I guess that's the price you pay for having someone prepare the meals for you that are healthy. 4. There are only two set days in which you can schedule to pick up your meals. Final notes: Don't expect the meals to taste amazing if you are used too eating meals with a lot of salt (which most restaurants do). I'm definitely a fan of Territory! You see, my problem with Blue Apron was that, sure, they send you all the ingredients, but you still have to chop, dice, shuck, etc., and that can take a lot of time. For the cost, the value wasn't there for me for Blue Apron. Enter: Territory. They provide fresh, locally made meals to your door/gym/yoga studio that should be consumed within a few days. You have your choice from a variety of meal options such as Paelo, Mixitarian, Whole 30, Expecting Moms, Air/Sea/Plants, etc., but you can always customize! I'm quite the picky eater so I definitely customize every time I order. I typically start with Air/Sea/Plants but then just choose what I want to eat even if it doesn't fit into that category. Sometimes there aren't that many options that I would be okay eating but there's at least always 3 and that's all I need! I typically order the 3 boost size dinners for Monday delivery and it costs $32. I get it delivered to my yoga studio so I don't pay for delivery. I've really loved all the meals I've had, especially the cuban pork with mashed yuca, singapore style noodles, stuffed eggplant, spaghetti squash and andouille sausage, etc. The food I get with territory is way better than anything I could try to attempt to make. I do not really enjoy cooking and I don't have a lot of time for it being super busy at work but also a part-time student. Territory allows me to eat well in a jiffy. Super happy I found out about it! I am not set-up for auto-delivery, which makes your orders a little cheaper, just because sometimes we do try our hand at cooking. Hey all! So, I have read the other reviews on Yelp and thought I would add mine. I really like the Territory Foods meals! Their food has been fabulous and even meals of which I was a little suspect (meaning I thought I might not like the combinations)... were great. The flavors are yummy and I have found that the "Boost" size is perfect for me for both lunch and dinner. While I don't follow a strict Whole30 diet, I love that I can choose Whole30 as an option because it helps me manage my food choices and limit carbs, sugar, grains, and legumes. I feel healthier and have even lost a few pounds!! I haven't had any issues with service. It's important to note that I do not select a weekly subscription because I travel quite a bit and I pick up my meals at a local CrossFit and it has been easy as I drive by the gym on the way to work. I ordered 8 meals & one medium produce box. Based on the ridiculously small portions, I was skeptical from the moment I opened the box. The taste of the meals was mediocre at best & definitely not worth $168! The produce box mostly consisted of green leafy vegetables (wilted), a couple of smashed tomatoes, a few very tiny apples, an overripe pomegranate & a few carrots. I have been ordering food from them for severl months. My first impression was great, gave recommendations to my co-workers, friends. But the quality of each meals are getting lower every week. I have tried different diet such as Whole 30, Low carb, Low fat. My Whole 30 meals were nothing but potatoes - the half portion of my meal was potatoes. Low carb meals is the lack of variety, same menues. Low fat diet has more options to choose, but the taste was 'it's O.K, I can eat it if I have nothing to have.' level. The major turn off is that they put cold food such as salad and warm to hot serve meal put all together in same container. I had to separate them before heat up. Personally, I don't want the hustle before eat. It supposed to be 'grab - heat - eat', no prep required. I really lost interest toward Territory. read more

Territory is truly a wonderful service. I'm very active and deeply care about the quality of what I eat and how it relates to my performance in my various athletic pursuits. The amount of time I spent planning my meals for the week, calculating macros, shopping, and actually cooking was exhausting during the times that my schedule was already busy from work and other commitments. Often I would just cook the same things week after week for efficiency's sake, only to get sick of certain foods and recipes. I'm horrible at portioning meals and would often make too much (and I hate wasting food!) or too little for the week. I know, I know.... I'm totally type-A and high-maintenance when it comes to food and nutrition! The value in Territory's service, for me at least, is that it takes all of the planning and guess work out of prepping your meals. Unlike other meal delivery services where the ingredients are sent to you with recipes, Territory sends you prepared and portioned meals aimed for the athletic and/or nutritionally conscious individual. You are essentially buying your time back that you would otherwise be using to plan meals, and that for me is worth every penny. Once you've created a Territory account, all you have to do is select which meals you wish to receive (breakfast, lunch and/or dinner), what your dietary preferences are (paleo, vegetarian, or mixed), which days you want meals (M-W and/or Th-F), what portion size you want your meals in, and where you would like have meals delivered to. Every week you select from a menu of which meals you wish to receive (you can mix and match from different dietary preferences if you want). You don't have to be a member of the fitness community to which they're delivered, many of which are Crossfit boxes. In my experience there is usually a fridge by the front door that you can pick your food up from, no assistance required, as long as you're doing it within the gym's business hours. Your food will be waiting in a box for you with your name on it. The most important detail: the food is delicious and there's great variety. There was maybe one or two meals I tried out of dozens that I thought, "meh, this isn't for me." You can rate meals on your online account to keep track of what you like and don't like, and even submit feedback to the Territory staff. You can also look up macros and specific ingredients for each meal online (they're also printed on the meal container labels). I really think they do listen to feedback, as I saw some of the suggestions I made about the food reflected in repeat recipes weeks later. All meals come in recyclable containers. When Territory was still branded as Power Supply, their food containers for the week came packaged in layers of Saran Wrap. I won't lie, as someone who cares a lot about the environment it made me cringe! They've since made the move to shipping their weekly meal orders in cardboard boxes. The company is obviously taking steps for an environmentally-friendly approach, of which I respect and appreciate. Customer service is also fantastic. If you ever need to pause your meals, you can do so through your account. I can't say enough positive things about Territory. The staff obviously has a vision for an amazing and valuable service, and they ironed out pretty much every detail possible for a flawless user experience. I have been a Territory customer for over 5 years and have recently cancelled my all orders. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. They had an error processing my credit card, used to pay for the service for two years, and simply cancelled the order last minute without ever contacting me. I wrote to customer service complaining and they told me that they know this practice is "a serious flaw in our system" and assured me I would still get my meals free of charge. That did not happen. Now I have to scramble to lock down food for an entire week. It is completely unacceptable for a company to treat customers this way, especially long-term customers with a track record of never missing a single payment in over five years. read more

I'm so disappointed. Territory saved my butt a few times when my husband was out of town and I needed to get dinner on the table for my family after working all day. Their food is decent. Some meals are great. Others should be permanently taken out of rotation. It's hard to know because you can't rate the meals in a way where everyone can see the ratings. And you can't mix the sizes of meals, which is annoying. I had my account set to not be a regular subscriber. I thought this was a permanent setting unless I went in and intentionally changed it. I've ordered more than once, so I'm shocked this happened. Somehow, after my last order, I was switched to auto-subscribe. Their email saying they had placed an order on my behalf came at 2:30am. At 6:30am, I saw it and requested they cancel. They sent me back a patronizing and long-winded email telling me they couldn't cancel, so now I'm stuck with 11 meals we potentially will have no interest in eating because we didn't pick them. I called at 8:45am when it said their customer service was open at 8am, but it went to a voicemail. There are lots of meal delivery services. Use someone else. Update: I guess if you make enough of a stink they listen. After cancelling my account, they ended up refunding this week's order as a one-time courtesy, and will not be making a mid-week delivery. They also admitted there are bugs in their system, which I hope they work out. I'm changing my stars from 1 to 3. As I said, some meals are good and some aren't. This service has been a godsend for my spouse who is working from home and just needs to throw something in the microwave when he has a moment to eat. I can only stomach a few of the things that they make, but I'll eat them when I don't feel like cooking. Nothing labeled spicy is actually spicy, and I find the need so season a lot of the food that I do eat. However, during the days of COVID, it is really nice to have options at home though. I was initially very excited to try this service as the photos on their Instagram were colorful and advertised dietary specifications. I'm a picky eater and allergic to certain foods which is why I have in the past not fully committed to a service. Pros: Lots of veggies, can avoid certain foods if you're on top of it Cons: - The trend I seem to be seeing in other reviews is their system. They automatically sign you up for a subscription even if you put one time order. I was sent an order of 6 meals that I could not eat because I'm allergic to the ingredients and did not order. - expensive for the amount of food provided. The food was honestly great but it seems like the company is a mess. I started the Whole30 diet and was relying on Territory for my food delivery. Just about to start week 3, and the food delivery was cancelled for no apparent reason, and I was notified at a time that was too late for me to correct it and after contacting support there was nothing that I could do. I got an email at 1:25AM telling me the payment hadn't been processed and that the meals were cancelled. I was not given any other notice, and just yesterday, less than 12 hours prior to receiving this email, I customized my order on the web site and confirmed it. The card was never un-linked from my profile, and there is no issue with the card. I called American Express and they told me no charge was attempted. I started a customer service chat and they basically told me that I was SOL. It doesn't matter how good the food is, when you are charging $14 per meal for a heat-able eat, you better have the infrastructure in place to be reliable otherwise the other aspects of the operation and completely useless. You need to get your nonsense together. What a joke. I have a mixed review of Territory Foods. I have been using the service for about 8 months and had about 450 meals or so. There is good and bad. I would say more good than bad, but the bad needs to be worked on. Bad First: 1. In over 450+ meals, I have had problems with 4 meals. Two of those meals, I have found a hair in my meal. In the other two, I have found a hard object (non food object, in my opinion) -- hard as a pebble. Their management did analyze the object and conclude that it was part of the "spaghetti squash rind". I have pictures of the meals with the problems. Also, their management was responsive to my complaints. 2. Their drop offs haven't been consistent - drop off times have changed and drop off notification is sometimes by text, sometimes not by text. 3. When there is a problem, their go to fix is to give you a credit but not a refund. You should always give a customer a refund and not force them to buy more stuff to get the money back. 4. There is nothing posted on where the meals are made, when the meals are made, and how long it takes them to transfer the meals from their facility to your home. Are the meals being kept at the recommended 41 degrees fahrenheit temperature? That isn't known or described. The Good: 1. They are a professional and well run company. Friendly too. 2. Meals taste great. 3. Good communication on their part. 4. Lot of variety to the meals. 5. Great nutritional breakdown. 6. Easy to use website. 7. Their management is responsive to the issues and even admitted that there are issues that they know about and are working on. Right now, I put them on hold while I evaluate other options but I don't like hair in my food and I don't want to have to feel like I have to analyze the food to see if there is a problem with it. I just tried this out and I am really not impressed. Their service itself worked great, I picked delivery to one of their locations and the food was there in the fridge when I arrived to pick it up. I just really didn't like the quality of the food. I was not too convinced to begin with about the concept, but I guess it was not clear to me that this food was fully cooked and you just reheat it. So essentially you are paying for a fresh meal but you are pretty much getting leftovers. For instance, I picked up my food on Monday night and took it to work on Tuesday. Even if they made it to order right before delivery (unlikely), this food was not made any later than Sunday night. Which means it was two days old. And probably they made it even sooner :( My meal was Salmon and I could definitely taste the fishiness of it sitting for two days in a fully cooked box mixed with sauce and all the other ingredients. And this was eating it as soon as possible, can't imagine what it would be like if I waited until Wednesday or Thursday (which I will have to for the other meals). Also all the vegetables were really soggy and just unpleasant. Maybe some people don't mind who are used to leftovers, but I would say if you want fresh food you are better off with the services where you cook it yourself. The deliveries are made twice per week, and the meals are fresh, never frozen. For a relatively small woman, I have a large appetite, and the size of the meals is almost always enough for me. Not only is it convenient, but it keeps you on track. Boost size meals are all I ever order because the macros fit me best. I love the paleo and whole 30 options. The food and variety is really nice and I love that it saves me time. We used a meal service in Florida and when we moved here we hadn't found one we liked. Food prepping for my husband and I was so time consuming but I love that Territory's menu changes and how convenient delivery is! They deliver right to our gym, Power Train. I LOVE this service! For $62 per week I get 5 meals that I stretch into many more. Though you can choose between tons of options as far as size or number of meals per week and even supplement with soup or bars. You can also choose between mixatarian, Paleo, and vegetarian-- but they are all dairy- and gluten-free! They're delivered bi-weekly to gyms around the city, which is super convenient and cheaper than a home delivery. Twice, we have had double orders of food delivered to us - and it isn't our user error, it's a glitch of some kind in their app. Both times they have refunded us but it is really maddening and time-consuming to deal with and then we have to try to palm off all the extra food to friends, family, neighbors. We have been using Power Supply for over six months and it is consistently awesome. The meals are always top notch - it is like having a personal chef that meets all your paleo or Whole30 dietary needs at a fraction of the cost. I love the diversity in each week's menu. I love that I can modify my menus to exclude things I don't like. The only recommendations I would make to Power Supply are: 1. Have an editable "Exclusions" list so that you can automatically opt out of meals based on items you do not like. For example, my husband does not eat eggs and I do not eat seafood. It would be great to have that as a part of my profile such that my menu never includes those options. 2. Home delivery would be fantastic, but would certainly raise the cost :) read more

I've been a Territory customer for over 5 years and this service has gone down hill and is completely unreliable. It appears they have outgrown what that have the capacity to deliver on (literally). Delivery has been all over the place this past year. In just the last month I've had meals just not delivered and rather than proactively reaching out to tell me there is a problem/delay/cancellation I'm left wondering what is going on and reaching out to get an answer. Territory - at a bare minimum your customers deserve prompt notification of delays/issues with delivery, not answers hours after or a day past when the delivery never showed up. This is a simple ask and yet just yesterday they left me hanging again with no notification delivery was delayed a day until well after 9pm. Food is just ok these days, the menu rotation is boring and they don't let you select from the full menu for the week, you only have access to part of it for each of the two delivery days of the week. Before COVID they seemed to actually read and make changes to meals based on feedback but they appear to not care anymore so I stoped spending time rating and reviewing the meals on a weekly basis. Their meal cost has skyrocketed. Sure, cost of everything has gone up but their meal cost, for the so so quality and selection, and complete roll of the dice as to whether or not you actually get your meals makes this meal prep service not worth the headache or money. Recommend you look elsewhere. Territory, you used to be great. Would love to see you reevaluate what volume you can handle and adjust accordingly so your customers can depend on consistent delivery, good quality, and tasty meals. Also, bring back the pick up option at local gyms. read more

We have been getting power supply routinely for some time now, not for the special diets, but instead for time saving aspect of it. The food is excellent, currently. For whatever reason, I feel as if the food quality has improved over the past couple months. In the beginning out of the 3 mess that I got, I probably enjoyed 1. More recently I have enjoyed all of them. The food is flavorful, there is a reasonably good mix of options as well. Problems. There were two occasions the food seemed to be left out too long between transport and spoiled by the time we ate it. It was a sweet potato mash once and another time a salad type concoction again with sweet potatoes. The first time Power Supply refunded our money. The second time we were simply too busy to care enough about it. Another time the rice was undercooked but j just threw it in the microwave for 4 minutes. In terms of food quantity, the portions are modest if you're not dieting. I usually end up supplementing my meal with some carbs. Of the regular size I can probably eat one and a half (which I have occasionally done) and the large size is a more suitable portion. The price is just about right for food you pick up on your own from a designated location versus delivery to your door. Overall I think it's a great option for the busy working families, that enjoy a freshly prepared meal at home. read more

Normally I do not write reviews, however I am concerned about how a company could misdirect blame on a customer who was unable to get in contact with them around their new adjustments. I have been ordering meals through Territory for a while now, and while their meals are rather delicious recently with the Coronavirus being at its worst, this company has not delivered nor communicated back with about my resolution for meals until this review was established. Through all of this chaos, they still placed blame on me due to "my lack" to adjust to their new delivery system. Mind you, the ONLY reason I ordered meals is because I have a hectic job that I love who supports all of our first responders and I really don't have the time to cook nutritious vegan food. This was my only means of eating something healthy and quick . My frustration grew when the online representative implied that they would only credit me half for my meals that I have always received. So last week to say the least has been horrible. I will update my review if anything is to change . read more

Try it! I'd heard of my power supply, but I thought it was some yucky functional gym rat Paleo food that I would not enjoy. I was wrong. Meals are pretty tasty. Especially those by Chef Rochelle. That said, I don't mind leftovers. I got used to them when I started doing meal prep. If you must have fresh food every day, then you need to figure something else out. With this plan essentially you are eating leftovers every day. I don't have much time to cook. I discovered that I can stay on track by doing meal prep once per week, which meant several hours on a weekend day dedicated to cooking for the week. Daily homemade leftovers. That was fine, but a meal delivery service is even better! I'll admit it looks a little gross getting cold food that you have to warm up. Having never seen the food when it was freshly cooked just makes it look less appetizing. I got over myself and started heating up and eating My Power Supply meals. I didn't like everything but most things are fine. Some were really good! With time you can figure out how to "mod" your meals. Also, you can order as few or as many meals as would be helpful to ensure that you're keeping up with good habits; not skipping meals or not eating crazy things throughout the week (save that for the weekend;)). You can order just one meal daily or for just a part of the week, it is a very flexible program that you can modify for your travel, etc. All busy people should try this. This is my 2nd week of Power Supply Meals and is a great option for my busy schedule. I appreciate how you are able to modify the menu selections and select multiple pick up days as well. So far, the food is delicious, flavorful, fresh, and just what their description on the site states. Delivery is reliable and well packaged too. My ONLY complaint is the portions...I order the XL meals each week and they are definitely on the skimpy side of servings; it seems to be the standard portion instead of an XL meal. I am going to reach out to the Customer Service Center and share my experience and see how it is remediated. I would recommend and may continue to order, but it is contingent on the response received from Customer Service. Update: Customer service was very spot on and proactive in reaching out to me concerning the portion sizes. The team completed a thorough analysis of the meals I ordered and asked me to share my take on the portioning. I was always credited a couple of meals as well which I am thankful for. I found the team to be very courteous, informative, apologetic, and proactive; they asked to keep an open dialogue to ensure there is improvement. I will update my review further once I have received my Neal meals for the next few weeks. read more

Lots of spoiled meals. Great tasting healthy food. Very expensive - but not compared to buying all these premium ingredients yourself, plus you don't have to eat the same things over and over like you would if you cooked yourself. Even with the spoilage, this is still the best of the 5 popular food delivery services we have tried. By the "eat by" date, more often than not, our fridge will begin to smell. It is usually the dishes with chicken in them. (we go out of our way to eat seafood first - we will either prioritize chicken as well, or just stop ordering it from now on). I'm probably throwing out 1/12 dishes because of spoilage. And i'm not being picky - I mean very stinky, slimy, inedible, obviously rotten food. I understand that such all natural food, with no additives won't keep long. It's nice that they do delivery/pickup twice a week, but maybe it's just not enough. The thursday - monday (longer) stretch is when we throw out the most. Maybe they need to switch to M,W, F - 3 times a week? They company is very good about refunding our money every time - but it's a pain to have to keep notifying them. It also means we're short on food when it happens...and it's just plain gross and a risk to our health to be dealing with. We're sticking it out for now, because the health level (when fresh) is so much better than the other services we've tried. The food tastes great (when fresh) and the portions are good. So close, so good, one very serious "make it or break it" problem. I hope they fix this soon. read more

I don't get Power Supply every week, it's more of a special thing when I know I'm going to be too busy to cook or go grocery shopping. For a meal service, it's pretty affordable, mostly because you pick your food up and there's no added delivery cost. There are a ton of locations and I found one a block away from me. I've had some great meals and some "okay" meals, but none that I hated. I really like that you can pick and choose any combination of lunch, dinner, vegetarian/paleo/mixitarian, and aren't forced to stick with one type of food. Unlike some other pre-made meals, no complaints about the portions. The "Standard" is enough for a filling meal, with a bit left over for a snack the next day. read more

We did 3-4 weeks of Power Supply meals and decided to cancel. Mainly because we realized reheated meals aren't super appealing to us (the food was watery and not exactly appetizing when opening). I also realized how much I like to decide what exactly I'm in the mood for that evening. Most weeks we'd love one meal, like the second meal, and dislike or even toss the third option so it wasn't as much bang for our buck. They charged us on Tuesday even though orders didn't need to be cancelled until Thursday. So we originally wanted to cancel after 2 weeks but already had a credit on our accounts that we didn't want to waste. I believe they have adjusted this issue, though! Lastly, it'd be great it they had a protein-heavy option for non-veggie lovers, like my boyfriend. He wasted so much precious produce and wasn't full after some meals. All-in-all, I definitely recommend for anyone on the go without time to grocery shop/cook. Or people looking for healthy-ish, portion-controlled meal. read more

One of my coworkers swears by Power Supply, so I decided to try it out for a few days this past week. I got an introductory deal of a free meal, which was nice, but otherwise it comes to around $12.50/meal for the regular sized meal (including free delivery if you pick it up from one of the many pick up spots around town.) Its a little more than what I pay at the various fast casual places around my office, but for a few extra dollars you are getting healthy, calorie controlled, tasty meal. As someone who loves cooking, but doesn't necessarily have the time to prepare my lunches on a regular basis, Power Supply is a great option. It would obviously be more economical for me to buy something in bulk and make my lunches for the week, but with Power Supply you are eating different things everyday, so you don't get bored with your healthy lunches! I also like that you can pick from a wide variety of options for the week. Ill definitely try power supply again soon! read more
