I needed in-wall cable running. They said, no problem, and made me an appointment. The night before the appointment their "tech" calls confirming what type of service I needed then says they quoted me the wrong price and he can't work for that. The tech, Alex, says "after I buy the cable I'd have to install it for free." Wow, I had no idea Ethernet cable was $225 for 50 feet! So, this tech person cancels my appointment. A week later, when I take a break from unpacking boxes, I call Hello Tech again and ask what happened to my appointment. Their customer service rep says I cancelled the appointment, which is absolutely NOT TRUE. She books me another appointment and the next morning I get a text message saying I cancelled it. I just called this company again about my appointment for today and they say, I cancelled it. Either this company enjoys gaslighting people, or it is a total scam to get your credit card number then not perform any work. Beware and watch your card for charges.

He was over his head in electric tasks, fine with installing faucets in bathroom, but for installing simple tap switches, including 3way switches, he charged over $3000. Tap switches approximately 70 which he. Charged 46 hours labor at $50 per hour! It should have been 2-3 days max no matter what. When he couldn't figure out one 3 way, instead of letting us know that it was too complex, he continued to work unsuccessfully to figure out what was wrong. Previous to tap switch installation, ALL 3 Way switches worked great. This was a COSMETIC upgrade only. Electrician had estimated $1200 max. Supplies amounted to $750 for tap switches at Home Depot. I cannot in all conscience recommend this service except for straight forward repairs. Cancer treatments prevented someone there to supervise and I live out of town and was unable to oversee my house project. He worked hard but his progress was SLOW and then he couldn't finish n should have "called it" as too complicated much sooner. $50 per hour n he kept on attempting something beyond his capabilities.

I immediately started watching YouTube videos on how to install a TV wall mount, and came to the conclusion that it was a job that my wife and I could take on. However, when the mount arrived at our home via Amazon, we realized that we much rather prefer to have a professional install it. I immediately did a Yelp search for "tv mounters" and the results led me to Alive Entertainments owned and operated by a gentleman named Francisco. Francisco not only had perfect reviews (and the photos to showcase his work), but also had a really cool bio about his journey working with electronics (ironically I had a similar upbringing in relation to installing car audio systems in my youth). I gave Francisco a call and was able to secure a same day appointment. Leading up to the set appointment time, Francisco did a great job of communicating his status. Francisco arrived at 1:23 pm and finished the installation at 2:10 pm, which was extremely quick. It probably would have been quicker had I not bothered Francisco with questions pertaining to the installation. I'm using the word bothered; however, Francisco did not seem bothered at all to patiently answer my questions. By the attention to detail that Francisco applied to the installation, it's pretty obvious that Francisco is knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. I'm looking forward to playing video games and using our spare room for at-home workouts on those days when I cannot make it to the gym.
