My son just graduated out of speech and we are over the moon…read more As I'm writing this, I'm reflecting on the mind blowing progress my son has made in just 3 years with the incredible help of Mrs. Teresa. When we first started here, my son was speech delayed and no one understood the few words he did say. Mrs. Teresa was able to target his problem areas and gave my son the tools he needed to communicate clearly and effectively. Mrs. Teresa is kind, gentle, patient, stern when needed, and truly invested in my son's growth and progress. They worked hard together during sessions, and she always rewarded my son with play time at the end which he appreciated. She always pushed and challenged him -- every session the improvement was undeniable. My son is a better speaker, a more confident communicator, and is able to focus and apply himself so much more now. I have a daughter at a different clinic who has now seen several different therapists, and I truly don't think with them all combined they could do what Mrs. Teresa does. She is an expert in the field and my son and I were truly blessed to work with her! Shout out to Miss Rosa who runs a tight ship! She truly keeps everything running smoothly, handles everything from scheduling to billing to whatever else falls on her lap, and she always does it with a welcoming and warm smile. She's the first and last face we see -- the face of the company. It's bitter sweet to say goodbye. Thank you sooooo much to Mrs. Teresa & Miss Rosa for being a part of our lives for the past 3 years.

Brittany Chau is an amazing Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)! We had an amazing experience and…read morewould definitely enlist her services again if ever needed. We received English services while being in a bi-lingual household for our child's period of being 18 Months - 3 years of age. Child started off barely talking and now we can't get them to stop yapping! Now don't get me wrong- I would hope that every parent's child would meet all developmental milestones and that you would never need to reach out for services, such as speech, because of a developmental delay; however, if you are in the need of an SLP I would highly recommend Brittany. Availability and communication were phenomenal. She is super punctual, responsive, and we had no problems scheduling sessions and making up missed appointments. She was local to our area and we were fortunate that she was able to come in-home to provide needed services for our child. You can tell how passionate she is for the success of your child based off of every interaction. It was a requirement to have at least one parent in-session and just being able to be present lets the parent learn so much about their child and which interaction or learning methods work best for them to learn and succeed. The debriefs after each session are always helpful along and she is always willing to provide great tips on how we can take the learning further, on the daily. You couldn't ever ask for a better partnership. My child is so excited every time they get to spend time with Brittany. She is the embodiment of the "no child left behind" mantra as she would never be that teacher that would fault a child if they just weren't picking up a concept. Instead, she would be the one to patiently discuss with the parents what she is observing while pondering, "Hmmm... I haven't quite figured out how to teach them yet." Totally accepting that it's our responsibility and duty to children to meet them halfway. If you go with Brittany Chau, you'll definitely have a Bright Outcome.

Winter can be a bit reserved at first but Brittany helped her feel comfortable extremely quickly and built a great relationship with her. Winter was excited to see and engage with Britany, which was very helpful in getting her through the intensive program. We started myo because of Winter's severe teeth grinding, and within 5 days of starting the mouth exercises, Winter stopped grinding! We couldn't believe it but she truly stopped within that first week. We continued the program as we wanted to ensure the grinding didn't start back up and also wanted Winter to have the ideal oral resting posture in the long term. Towards the end of the program, Winter became a silent sleeper - mouth completely closed and quiet as a mouse, couldn't hear her breathe at all. She wakes up well rested and ready to go from having great sleep. Brittany was so great with Winter, firm enough to get Winter through the exercises properly but also warm and friendly so that Winter looked forward to meeting with her. Her professionalism and productivity impressed us and we couldn't recommend her more!

But with the help of the wonderful & genuine speech therapist at Jabberdogs within 6 months he has made SO MUCH progress and is now saying 5+ word sentences and improving more and more. Ms. Samantha has been helping our son since day one and she goes ABOVE and BEYOND what is expected. The therapists would even give us parents tools and methods we could help practice with our kiddos. Ms. Anna, Ms. Megan and even Ms. Stephanie have been so helpful with our son's journey as well. There was a season where we were going back and forth with different therapists but that was because they were trying to accommodate US when my son started preschool. Management has been so flexible, understanding & accommodating to my family as we navigate our changing schedules. They also keep all the rooms, and areas well kept and clean with lots of books and toys in the waiting area. There is also ample parking at the location as well as free Wifi connection for parents that need to work while waiting for their kiddos. The Jabberdogs team has been so kind and welcoming to my whole family. We are so blessed to have their team help my son out and begin his speech therapy here. If any parent is considering them for their speech service, look no further! I guarantee you will not regret it

We continue to work together on expressive communication, and every step forward is a victory we celebrate together. What sets Ms. Jess apart is her genuine dedication. She goes above and beyond to learn more about our daughter's AAC device and Proloquo software, making sure she can communicate in ways that feel natural and empowering. She takes time to individualize every activity and helps us as parents feel confident continuing those strategies at home. Ms. Jessica's compassion, creativity, and commitment make her one in a million. For any family seeking an exceptional speech therapist who truly cares, I can't recommend her enough.

I am certain I am not the only one experiencing this situation. Channel to Words has provided speech therapist for my son for over a year and in this time frame they have gone through some unfortunate changes. I have nothing but appreciation and admiration for the therapists who unfortunately have quit because the director is self absorbed and incredibly unprofessional, I realized this as different therapists started to quit and new therapists had to take the load with little to no training. The ones affected are our kids. My son has been switched between therapists because no one wants to work at this company I don't blame them. For the last 3 months we were working once a week with one therapist -Liz, who is awesome and once with a different therapists (a very new therapist) I saw my son was not benefiting from the therapy provided by their newest therapists, I tried for months even brought my own toys and pretty much did the therapy myself, when I finally decided to ask for help, I asked if I could be switch to a different therapist, their response was, that all they could do is cut my son's therapy to once a week or go back to Kaiser and ask to work with them directly. Their response completely surprised me, I was kind, I was patient and I simply ask for help and instead of finding different ways to accommodate, they just cut my son's therapy. I then asked to speak to the director I explained unfortunately it wasn't a good fit but I was happy with the other therapist as we were doing great progress, she took this personal and said my son would better benefit somewhere else and that she only had two minutes to speak so for me to say what I had to say fast. I told her it wasn't personal and I was okay with being places in the waiting list so that eventually my son was seeing Liz twice a week and she insisted my son would benefit elsewhere, when I took him for therapy today the director brings me to her office and insists i have my son go somewhere else... I. Could go in detail about the whole conversation long story short is she is incredible self serving, she said she knew for over a year my son was not benefiting from the therapy there and when I asked her why didn't she said that before? Why say this now just because I asked to be switch therapists, she immediately got it and said " I am not comfortable with this conversation" so I had to get up and leave immediately, this is a person who should not be working with children, and who doesn't deserve to have worked with such great therapists, that to leave because she is not someone you can reason with. My one star goes to the director Keisha Martinez, you do not deserve the privilege to work with kids nor with the wonderful therapists you pushed to go elsewhere with better management and where they truly care about their work

Nessa was consistently unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful. Nessa would cancel appointments last-minute and schedule makeup sessions without notifying us, even after we explicitly asked to be informed. Our requests were completely ignored. When we tried to address our concerns directly and requested a meeting with Nessa, she never responded. She refused to answer scheduling questions and address our communication issues. For someone who promotes herself as collaborative and compassionate, Nessa proved to be the opposite -- prioritizing her own convenience over the families she's supposed to help. Thankfully, we switched to another speech provider who has been professional, responsive, and effective. Our son has made great progress in a short time. Let's Blossom may have good therapists, but Nessa is not one of them.

She also schedules makeup sessions without our knowledge or permission -- even after we repeatedly asked to be informed. The lack of communication and transparency is severe. If you're looking for a speech therapist who respects your child's time, communicates clearly, and genuinely collaborates with families, do not work with Nessa at Let's Blossom. To other families: do your research. Multiple negative reviews about Nessa and Let's Blossom exist on Google and Glassdoor, including one where Let's Blossom owner, Nessa, allegedly "belittled, attacked, and emotionally abused" a student reviewer. We found Let's Blossom through our child's school and wish we had looked deeper before signing on. Nessa prioritizes herself and her convenience over the children and families she's supposed to help. Please learn from our experience. Update: I want to respond to Nessa's misinformation in her reply. First, this was not a "miscommunication." We clearly communicated to Nessa and her staff at least three times that we wanted to be informed of any scheduled appointments. Despite this, Nessa told us directly that as long as my child is in school and due for make-up sessions, she would go ahead and schedule them without our knowledge and permission. Second, Nessa stated she had hoped to connect -- but in our case, she chose not to connect. We raised our concerns multiple times and even requested a meeting to address them directly. She never responded to our meeting request and refused to answer our scheduling questions or discuss communication issues. A truly collaborative provider who cares about their clients and families would have spoken with us -- but she did not. Given Nessa's unprofessional conduct and misinformation, Nessa lost our family's trust.

She is knowledgeable about the most up to date research and techniques in speech therapy and she is very aware of the social emotional needs of clients like my son who are struggling with their speech. Sara's sessions are engaging, varied, well thought out and prepared. She is engaged in what she does and really cares. Her office is inviting and warm, but even as we recently switched to doing our sessions remotely/virtual, she has been doing an amazing job at keeping the sessions just as engaging and relevant to our son.
