I've had nothing but great experiences with Tesla here in Dallas over the years--I currently own a Model 3 and was seriously considering adding the Cybertruck to my garage. I recently booked a 48-hour test drive for the Cybertruck to see if it could fit into my daily life. The drive was confirmed through multiple emails, messages, and even showed up in my Tesla app. I also spoke with two Tesla representatives by phone who confirmed the reservation. However, when I arrived at the location, I was told by the front desk that the test drive wasn't confirmed in their system. Unfortunately, I didn't get the names of the people I spoke to prior (my mistake), but I was really disappointed. I had rearranged my day around picking up the vehicle and was genuinely excited about the experience. This isn't what I expected from Tesla, especially given my previous positive experiences. I hope this kind of communication issue gets addressed--test drives are a big part of the purchase journey, especially for a vehicle as unique as a Cybertruck. read more

My husband and I went to the Tesla cedar springs road to pickup our Tesla. I was initially hesitant in this purchase, since I was uncertain if I could learn the functions of the car (I'm in my 60s and so NOT a techie like my husband), but when we arrived to turn in my mini cooper convertible trade in for the Tesla model 3 Highlander, those worries disappeared in mere seconds since the car was GORGEOUS! Jake was our Tesla Advisor and training support, and so patient with questions. He showed us the primary features of the car (critical since we needed to know enough about how the car worked, and for me, it was not immediately intuitive like a traditional car interior) so we could make the hour drive back home. Going fully electric was quite a step for me, but now the Tesla has been ours for 3 months and I can confidently say I LOVE it! I waited 3 months to do a review on the new Tesla we purchased until I had driven the car and felt I could function in it without the husband having to lookup questions in the manual the first few weeks, but that will make sense given my non-tech capability. The functionality is incredible, the design is so well engineered (and compared to my husband's electric Mercedes E series, with which he is quite unhappy and it is far more expensive) I am truly happy with the purchase. I am even MORE glad I waited the extra two months for the white Interior, an unusual option for the Tesla interior,but anyone who lives in Dallas Fort Worth in our summers knows how helpful the light interior is in 100 degree plus weather! Best of all, plugging the car inside our garage for a charge and the electric cost, according to the charge point indicator on the charger is under $8.00 for 250 miles,which is around 80 miles a gallon. The car is updated by Tesla when it is time for changes to the software and I read the vehicle manual online - so I understand what the car can do and how it works, which I have done with all my vehicles since I moved to Texas over 30 years ago. Your dealership is high pressure and no on seems to have ethical issues. We had a 21 model y and it was a total lemon but every time we took it in They blamed us for navigating problems, it must be apple. Never addressed any problems. We get to 2025 and we see we aren't getting updates for the full self driving. It was useless and we had to be out of pocket for a new hardware computer 3k when we had been complaining about it since 21 while it was under warranty. The sales team and the service team had blamed us for every problem. HIGH PRESSURE TO TRADE IN AND THERE WAS GOOD INCENTIVES. But the whole comatose is poorly run. If you are looking for an electric car, try another electric car because they take no responsibility for the screw ups and it'll be one long headache. Updated review: walked in because the phone prompts won't work and if you press zero it will drop your call. No one is working inside. I just need a simple fix like fixing my key remote. Everything is so complicated and understaffed. The staff here are all extremely polite and nice! I had a great experience in test driving their model s, after the online appointment made by the staff member. I ended up getting my own model s, and also had a great experience with Reid, who helped me with the walk through and demonstrations. All emails and messages were promptly answered by the representative, and I am enjoying driving my model S. Can't wait to get another one! read more

Spent 100k on a Model X. It had 3 minor, yet unacceptable, problems that needed to be fixed since we literally just had it delivered. Not their fault. However, The problem with the service center: 1) They gave us a dirty Model S to use. 2) They fixed only 1 of the issues and let us try to pick it up. 3) They seemed just as surprised as us when the other 2 issues were shown to them again. We took our X back in its current condition with a promise that they would get back to us ASAP and resolve our BRAND NEW TESLA's issues. 4) We've heard nothing. We bought a used Lexus RX330 10 years ago for a quarter of the price. The service from Sewell is unparalleled still to this day. We love 99.9% of our new Tesla. We miss Sewell service. read more

(This review had been posted at their old location. But since it has moved, I'm posting it at their new Yelp location because everyone needs to know how awesome this company is!) Two weeks after buying my model S, I got a flat tire. First flat in years! Grabbing the roadside assistance number from the handbook I ring Tesla's roadside assistance. Representative asks if it's ok to have the car towed to the Tesla shop to replace the tire. No problem, I'll Uber for a ride home. Then a few minutes later the Tesla Rep calls back saying they'll change out the tire with a spare at the location so I can keep the car that night. Nice! They'll be there in 1 hour.. ..30 minutes later I see flashing lights of the wrecker there to change the tire. Next day it was a quick trip to the shop to get a new tire and I was on my way. All throughout it was top notch service, friendly folks to work with, and - the best part - minimal effort on my part. Tesla Roadside Assistance 5 outta 5 stars. Then... Next day I see a nick on top of the driver's side fender as if a heavy wrench or pipe fell on it. I could not think of anywhere that this might have happened until later that day; the only time it was out of my sight was when it was at the Tesla Shop. I was hesitant about contacting the shop because bringing bad news is not a good feeling. Though the next day I send an email explaining if this nick might have happened at the shop. Robert responds insisting to take a look; I felt he really wanted to be sure I was a 100% taken care of. When I arrive I am greeted by Jimy, the service manager. He explains that if an accident happens his guys know to report it and would never get in trouble for it. (Excellent policy! We have the same at my business). Jimy acknowledges that the car was in the hands of a third party vendor, the wrecker. Without hesitation he sets up a time for me to bring the car in and have the dent removed. I bring in my car, they give me another Model S to drive. Come back and the nick/dent is completely gone. Perfect job! Tesla Service Center 5 outa 5 stars (Wish I could give them 6!) This is the best car I've driven and its from a company that knows how to take care of their customers. After experiences like this they've earned a customer for life. read more

Because of this service center in Dallas, I would never buy another car from Tesla. They still don't have it figured out here. Appointments here are harder to get than a table at Lucia. When you do finally get in, there are never any loaner cars available. Choices are either to sit in the waiting room or take a Lyft (like I need their permission to call a ride share!) Not the customer service treatment I expect from a high-end car company. Plenty of staff walking around but it's not clear what they are doing. Certainly not worrying about expediting my service. read more

Scheduled an appointment for service 2 weeks in advance, but the day before my appointment, Tesla notifies me that my appointment time has been changed to a different date and time. I had to make the necessary arrangements with my work schedule and family to secure the original time and Tesla thinks it's okay to move it to a different date at the last minute without my approval? i had a recent software upgrade on my 2017 Tesla 100 S model. The software wiped out my HomeLinks setting and despite powering off and back on the settings did not come back. I cannot find my manual garage care opener and the service rep said that they cannot go through their files to restore it. in addition, I have a malfunctioning charging port and he could not schedule me for an appointment and pointed me back to the app to schedule an appointment. You would think that a $100,000 car would entitle you to better customer service. The service rep would not give me his name and when I asked who is boss was, he answered Elon Musk and hung up the phone. I am now going to shop for a Porsche Taycan and tell the whole world how awful the technology and service level is for Tesla. read more

Service department is slow and not possible to call directly. Needs serious improvement. On phone over 2 hours with CA and TX. Tesla has completely changed since last year . I had a quote on a repair which doubled in price and they would not honor the previous quote. Too bad their customer service doesn't match the quality of the car sold. Starting to nickle and dime and their processes for repair impossible. Now charging 10$ monthly to have live traffic on satellite map. They also include "karaoke" that isn't even karaoke because someone is singing. Who needs karaoke when driving? Next time I will buy at SEWELL when an all electric comes out. The Tesla is a great car, but the customer service is TERRIBLE!!! I am presently on hold to the service center on Cedar Springs in Dallas. So far...1:16. That's 1 HOUR & 16 minutes. I called 2 days ago and gave up after 40 minutes on hold. I called the Tesla headquarters in California after that and gave up there too after 50 minutes. I have a model 3, but my father-in-law has a $145,000 Model S and he has had the same experience. Buy a Chevy! read more

Stellar service by incredibly hard-working and devoted Tesla experts--what more could you want? Their new location is right across the street from Love Field, and the size is, finally, commensurate with the number of Teslas in the DFW area. (At least for now--with so many more new Teslas showing up every week they should start looking for another location on the west side of 360 soon!) With the ever-increasing reliability of new Teslas, it seems like it might become more of a delivery center than a repair shop, but glad they have new digs anyway. I you want to by a $100,000+ car and be treated like you have a Chevy Volt or Nissan Leaf, then you can't go wrong with the Dallas Tesla Service Center. Some day they are going to have to get this service thing figured out. They should be on par with BMW, Lexis, Infiniti and Mercedes with their service but instead all you get is Chevy, Ford and Dodge service. This is why we decided to not buy the Model X and purchased something else instead. Will probably cancel our Model 3 that is on order as well. I cannot imagine how they will be able to handle the influx of cars requiring support when the Model 3 comes out in mass numbers. I've sent my Model S in three for the same problem and each time I get the car back the issue remains unchanged. It's as if they don't even operationally check their work after they finish. I do think the issue is a local one and not a systemic Tesla issue. read more
