I had to go to the Mazda Dealer for a reprogramming of my key fobs, and just happened to choose this one due to it being close to me. However I have to say the service team: specifically Victor and Perry (Service Mgr) were great throughout it all. I will say at first I was a bit annoyed because I had an appt scheduled one day and the people on the phone told me incorrect information when making my appt. so I wasted my time to go out there in the middle of my workday for no reason. Only to get there and then tell me I couldn't have it re-programmed. Where some places would've probably just programmed and may have left you stuck. As Mazda vehicles require 2 "good keys" to reprogram, and one the process is started it deems your vehicle immobile if it doesn't pair. Victor and Perry took the time to explain to me the chances of the other key not programming and all my various options and costs associated with it, so I could make the best decision for myself on what I wanted to do. Victor and Perry kept me updated throughout the whole process, and thankfully it all worked out. What I appreciated besides the communication with Perry and Victor is the fact that they took the time to explain in lamens terms the whole scenario and possible consequences of them doing the programming. I know some places definitely would've just gone ahead and if it didn't work, forced you to buy the Mazda mfctr key through them which is like $300. I also chatted with some of the sales guys while there, and they weren't pushy just talked about the feature of my car versus some of the other models. I would definitely recommend them and will be back for servicing or if I choose to upgrade my car. This place is a hot mess. I booked a service appointment online. The night before the appointment, I received an email that my appointment had been canceled. No explanation was given. Two weeks later, I schedule another appointment online and this time picked a different, upgraded service package than my original canceled appointment. When I sign in at my appointment, there is a flyer on the counter listing various services offered, included in the package I requested with the cost for the package. I wait in the lobby for my car to be ready. About an hour later, I get a text message from my advisor asking if I want to pay extra for a cabin air filter. I replied back within a minute that the air filter was in the package I requested, including a picture of the flyer that's on their counter at that exact moment. More than 15 minutes later, my advisor comes to the lobby. I ask if he had my text message and he says he hadn't seen it. I show him the text with the picture showing all of the things, including the filter, that are included in what I requested. He responds that that is not what I requested. I show him the email confirmation for today's appointment , including the exact package name listed word for word matching their flyer. He was happy to perform the extra services, but was sorry to inform me that it would cost more money because the flyer is out of date. I insist that it is their fault that their flyer is out of date and they need to honor that price. He eventually says he will. I wait again while they do the remaining services. When they bring me the bill, it is less than the elevated price he told me it would be but still does not match the price on the flyer by about $10 extra. I give up at this point and give them the extra cash, knowing that I will not be returning here for any reason going forward. Buyer beware that this place will try to over charge you and cannot get their records in order. read more

Made an appointment online since it's what their phone service says they recommend you do asked in the online scheduling for somebody to call me to tell me what the price would be. Nobody called after two days and I called several times to try to get a hold of somebody left a voicemail then came in for my appointment and at the appointment time they were not ready to see me after 10 minutes I left and then they called me back, trying to get me to come back so I would not recommend using this service at the dealership and seek third-party help for your Mazda vehicles. Been coming here for 6 years -- great sales team, and I highly recommend Arthur. However, the service department needs serious improvement. Even with early morning appointments, an oil change with a "multi-point inspection" takes over an hour and half, and today over two hours. They can't guarantee when it'll be ready. It feels like the long wait is used to justify their hourly rates, you can't charge $100 for a 20-minute oil change, so they stretch it out. After six years, it's clear the inspection is more about upselling than genuine care. For comparison, I had a great experience at Norm Reeves Mazda, the staff was friendlier, and service turnaround was much faster. Customers should have the option to skip the inspection and get a quick, straightforward oil change without the add-ons. read more

Gregg helped me, he listened and I had faith that he will do his best to fix it. It is so easy when you have a new car and purchased a package so they can do it all. They even wash the car for ya! yay Made an appointment, got reminded, drove there, dropped it off, checked in immediately, keys taken, sit on leather chairs in the waiting room with two big TV s playing funny videos, on one was funny animals, I honestly did not notice how an hour and fifteen minutes passed by. Gregg came to get me, fixed the fob, of course, did it all and walked me to a desk where a lovely lady helped me. I ended up buying from them because they negotiated and met my monthly payment with a high down payment from me. My only complaint is I said I didn't want the cargo net, retractable cover and didn't realize I was paying extra for the wheels. I was told they were on the car. Horrible customer service. I took my car to be diagnosed since the check engine light was on. They told me they needed to replace the Coolant Valve due to the code it was sending. Not a problem, they replaced the needed part (no charge, it was under warranty) BUT did not install it correctly. Which lead to my heater not working for a week in the cold & as soon as the weather warmed my car started over heated. I could not drive my car more than three miles without it over heated. I called town north Mazda every day for a week & NO ONE called me back. My service adviser was no longer working there and they were clearly understaffed with no loaner cars or appointments available for future booking. Take your car to Norm Reeves in Irving. They fixed my car in one day, provided a loaner, and real time video updates on my service. 10/10 experience. read more

The service office has only two advisers, I waited long time for them to serve me. The service which supposedly to be about 1.5 hrs took for them 2.5 hours and I almost was late for doctors appointment. I waited another 20 min to get my ready to go car, because advisor Victor was too busy with another customer and did not make any attempts to ask other advisors to help me. And service manager did not find any answers on my complaint. I will be looking for other places to serve my Mazda. read more

feedback on Service Dept @ Town North Mazda: HORRENDOUS! Early December 2024, I called Service Dept by Phone to schedule a visit regarding "High Coolant Temp Warning" on my CX-30. Sounded easy right? NOPE. 1) it started off with the Service Dept Phone Receptionist... whom had taken my call... I asked to be put in touch with a Service Advisor regarding a dashboard warning light but she responded by saying she could NOT transfer me as the Service Advisors do not have any phones available. I was like... HUH? She said she can take a message but there was no way for her to pass on my message because she can ONLY email them and no guarantees on when they would respond to my email message. Then I asked why couldn't she simply pass onward my message to them as she sits just on the other side of the office wall from these Service Advisors? and She said she needed to stay put and answer the phone but she gladly help me to schedule an appointment. Then I said OK then lets make an appt. She proceeded to take my contact information to verify my customer info in their system... She found me. THEN... she proceeded to verify Dates and Times which I selected the next available opening ASAP. This was when she proceeded to repeat my appt info and verified that I was confirmed for an "Oil Change" on such date/time. And I was confused... explained to her that I did not need an oil change but an inspection in a dashboard warning light for a "High Coolant Temperature Warning"... THEN she simply replied that oil/coolant... Same Thing ( all in a whatever tone). i said back NO they are NOT the same things.... Then she became short and curt on the phone and said Indignantly... that SHE can ONLY schedule Oil Changes. And if an Oil change wasn't what I needed .. then she doesn't know how else she could "assist" me. I simply said back to her that please transfer me or find a Service Advisor for me to speak to... then she said again... she is UNABLE to leave her chair and she is UNable to transfer any calls... AND that she can ONLY schedule appointments. for oil changes. I was so confused that I simply ended my call with this crazy and inept Receptionist. 2). Then had a friend call in to ask about the same thing by using his phone and contact info... and shockingly... He experienced the same ineptness of this same Crazy Receptionist. We felt like we were being punked 3) then I decided to go into their Service Dept in-person as I know from previous in-person experiences, that their Servixe Advisors all sit right there in the front entrance counter of their Service Department. And you would think my experience would improve? NOPE! like I said earlier, I drove in the next morning so to obtain assistance in person... and to avoid this inept Service Dept Receptionist. I walked in and stood as the first customer in line at their Service Counter... where I saw ALL 4 Service Advisors sitting in their assigned 4 seat locations... ALL in attendance. However, after standing there for a few minutes... NONE of them even said "hello" or waved at me.... let alone... advised me that someone would be right me. instead? I observed ALL 4 of them, sitting there typing away and looking on their monitors... not even speaking on their phones! I waited a couple more minutes and 2 of them made eye contacts with me... Finally... yet STILL... NO ONE said a THING! ALL just simply cont to type away on their keyboards and said NOTHING. Finally, after the next customer walked in and stood behind me... I decided to speak to the Advisor for some assistance. And what did He do? He put up his finger at me as to "hush me" and still did not say anything... nor a simple "one moment, please" And the Gentleman standing behind me said "Seriously?" And asked me how ling had I been standing here... I turned and said a few minutes... not too long... BUT, these guys (Service Advisors) seem to be "too busy" looking at their monitors than to attend to nor even acknowledge New customers standing in front of them. It was then that one of the Service Managers sitting in one of those office cubicles stepped out after hearing our exchange and finally "acknowledging us" then told one of those 4 Advisors to "Help Us". like really... You need to be TOLD what and How to do your job as a Service Advisor?!? AND to be TOLD by one of your Managers?!? And only take any actions AFTER being told to "acknowledge " the New Customers standing RIGHT in FRONT of you for minutes on end?!? 4). Finally... one of these "So Busy" Advisors waved me over and asked to help me. He turned out to be super cordial and professional actually... and apologized to me by explaining that they were recently acquired by new owners and their service queue is backed up for 5-7 business days. I bought my car here (great experience), and I've noticed the service side sliding downhill into let's make a buck and we are too busy for anything else. Currently, I want to know how many pre-paid oil changes I have left. It's not info I can get online. I've emailed; no response. I've called several times. Hung up on immediately once (always a sign that management has understaffed a place) and been on hold 15+ minutes for the rest (depends on which phone call we're talking about). Only go here if you are in person ready to buy on the spot. Inquired about a vehicle they had, they ran my credit 4 times, set up an appointment with me the following day to drive up there and buy the vehicle, then sold the vehicle out from underneath me. No call or email. I called to talk to the finance department to make sure everything went through, and they told me they're in the process of selling it to someone else. Meanwhile they had 4 hard hits on my credit and now I'm back to searching for a vehicle. 1/10 would not recommend. Seems like standard run of the mill sleazy used car salesmen. 1. You asked for a phone bill and your sleazy sales man even told me, he has NEVER seen them ask for a phone bill. You could have then asked me for water bill, gas bill, or legit any other bill. Lots of people have phone's under other peoples name. ie: spouses, parents, guardians. 2. Proof of employment/income was clear via bank statements. A simple phone call to my company could have verified this as well. 3. Proof of residency, you could have asked for multiple documents that show proof of residency. At the very minimum, maybe a passport. Also, I did provide my drivers license. In conclusion, A simple phone call could have cleared all of this up. Whether it was more information, or a higher down payment. However, instead of doing the right thing and mark it as "sale pending", your dealership sold the truck out from underneath me after putting hits on my credit. I would expect this from smaller dealers that only sell older used cars with high prices and high miles. Who knows, maybe that's who you are. Bottom line is, your business does shady work. Me and my wife visited the dealership on 04/12/2025, around 2:45pm were approached by Ebee salesperson. He was extremely rude and Unprofessional telling my wife you can't afford the Mazda CX70phev, because it's out of your price range. He immediately began saying your payments would be above 700 for the lease. When I spoke with Will the sales manager, this is when things decided to take the turn for the worst case. He also was lying and sent me two invoices for a Premium and a Premium plus model. Both prices were inflated by over 340 dollars a month. I'm sorry does your dealership practice any ethical morals and practices. Yesterday we received a phone call from Tai, the Internet Director and said he would make things right for us. So we said okay, fast forward today, and now the payments, that were promised by him are not even close at all. We have bought many cars in the past. This dealership by far is the worst in customer service and the way they treat customers. I had been looking for my next car for months and decided I needed to take one last look at Mazda. I wanted a sedan. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the CX-50 was. Even though it was a really busy Saturday at the dealership, Town North was able to get the car ready for delivery that day. I always dread dealing with finance managers, but this one didn't try any hard-sell tactics, and he had all the documents ready to sign. I was in his office less than 15 minutes. I was not condescended to, subjected to gimmicks, or forced to wait for long stretches of time as a sales tactic. Town North simply sold me a car in a straightforward way. What a relief. I didn't go home feeling annoyed, exhausted, or wondering whether I had been ripped off. Shout out to Christian Pritt, the new car sales manager: He is the reason I have bought three new Mazdas at Town North over the years. He knows his customer and wants her to be happy with her ride. I bought a new 2022 Mazda CX5 in July 2022 in cash (not financed) and the sales rep told me I was required to buy the Easy Care Maintenance for $600 or he wouldn't sell the car. This was in response to me saying that I did not want that maintenance package, but I wanted the car that day, so I thought to just take a little bit of a loss. He also said it was good for 36k miles or 3 years, so $600 for 4-5 services at most. We don't use this car much, so now in August 2023 it was due for it's first maintenance and I brought it in. I was then told that the terms of the maintenance agreement were 1.5 years or 3 services, whichever comes first. This made the maintenance suddenly $600 for a single service for me, because it was 1 year of driving before the first maintenance was due. I was upset that the salesman lied to me, but brought it in anyway. Now this is what I got for this $600 service: 1. The CABIN air filter was not replaced (see attached pic). 2. Windshield wiper fluid was almost empty and not topped off. 3. So basically just oil, oil filter and a tire rotation. On top of this there were other issues. - The service tech advised to purchase a new ENGINE air filter at additional cost for me, but when I looked at it at home after, it was all clean and white. There was a single small leaf in it. Note that the pic is from the cabin air filter and not the engine air filter. - There was a small nail in the tire near the center that was straight in. I used slime to stop the leak, which I know is not really recommended, but you can just wipe the spot near the nail and patch it. The tech refused and said that because there was slime, I needed a new tire and tpms sensor. I was quoted $585 for the tire replacement, which included $210 for the tpms sensor. At this point I had enough of the lies and had him put the spare on and take the wheel and tire to a regular tire place. They patched the tire and put the wheel back on and the tpms sensor was working fine of course. This cost me $30. In short, the prepaid maintenance plan is just a money grab and the salesman has lied to me. The tech could've referred me to a regular tire place instead of trying to turn it in a cash grab and claiming good parts (tire+sensor) were bad, so they can sell them at a very inflated price. read more

I have to say I'm very disappointed with the services that this facility provides are to be more honest not provides. I was told my car has to be in queue to be looked at by technician. After I made an appointment for a specific day and time. Now I do understand we are all busy and we are in line to get the services so I agreed for my car to stay in the dealership for a week. I asked for a loaner car. They said they don't have any. For a week my car stayed in the dealership services queue with no word, on the last day of the scheduled day I called twice, left messages. No one called me back. I finally decided to show up to the dealership to talk to someone and figure it out. Sadly I have to edit my review after the fact due to interactions with this dealership since purchasing my vehicle. The purchasing process went smoothly and my sales woman and finance guy took great care of me. However after the purchase we dropped the vehicle off for our first service. During that process there were some hiccups on trying to get a loaner car which was something I was told would not be an issue. Then we had a major issue with a fuel pump failure. Mazda roadside left us hanging until 3:00 in the morning and never showed up. I had to call my own insurance company the following morning after getting my family off the side of the road and have them tow it. It was towed into town North Mazda at my cost towing for the repairs. The repairs were covered under warranty and about 3 days in they gave me a loaner car but still not big enough for my family. We purchased an 8 seat vehicle and they gave me a 5 seat vehicle. Then in addition to that when the repairs finally were complete I went to pick up my vehicle and found windshield damage on my vehicle that was not there at drop off. I pointed that windshield damage out to the service advisor who told me they wouldn't be able to do anything about it until Monday. I asked for a loaner and then I would leave the vehicle there with them while they resolved it. I was told they could not do a loaner till they even looked at it and the service manager had to look at it. I then asked for the general manager explaining that I had proof that the vehicle came in with no damage. In addition to my photos prior to the vehicle arriving at the dealership the towing company also had photos of my vehicle being dropped off in the dealership parking lot undamaged. I showed these photos to the general manager after requesting to see him and asking him to pull the video footage. He refused to pull the video footage and continued to argue various reasons why he would not pull it. I then continued discussing it with him until he started getting upset at me and trying to blame me. He also caused further damage to the vehicle by digging into the damage with his pen. All of this recorded and documented both. After having continual issues with the general manager he told me I was no longer welcome at the dealership. I, a customer who purchased a multi-thousand dollar vehicle, am not welcome at the dealership I purchased it from purely because I wanted the damage caused by their dealership repaired. Even their own technicians and staff agree that I'm in the right. I have reached out to Mazda North America and all they were able to do is get my service contract refunded that was attached to the dealership specifically for my maintenance. They were unable to help in the situation other than trying to get me reimbursed for the rental car. That is still an ongoing process with them about trying to resolve this but they have stated that I'm no longer welcome according to the general manager. I bought a brand new vehicle from you and you refuse to do service on it and refuse to take care of the damage you caused that I have proof of. Attached you'll see the photo of the general manager that I dealt with. I do not recommend this dealership and I definitely would not take your vehicle here for service because if they damage it they will not pay for the repairs. If you can't trust them to take care of your vehicle in a minor situation how can you trust them to take care of your vehicle and other repairs that may affect your very safety and life driving the vehicle. I am so disappointed in how this went and how the general manager chose to handle it. I gave him every opportunity to correct his behavior and the way he was handling this even now and he has chosen to be stubborn and rude. June 2020, when we were looking for a new car for my wife, we spent several weeks talking to various dealers looking for the exact car we wanted -- and getting frustrated with the games of "we dont have exactly that, but what about this" or "we have that, but you also must buy all these other add ons because we need to boost our profits" etc. That typical stupid schtick that routinely makes car buying an insanely painful exercise Then we found Fabian at Town North. Incredibly personable and friendly, took a moment to listen to what we wanted -- and made it happen. Came back quickly a a great price on the exact unit we were looking for. I live 60+ miles away so he handled most everything via phone/text/email to get everything going. Walked the sale through the dealer process from prep through financing. So when we made the drive down, it was a fairly quick thing to just confirm it was the car we wanted -- and sign the paperwork. Even took the time to walk my wife through setting up the car features to make sure she could tweak everything she wanted. And called to check in a few days later to make sure we were still completely satisfied. It was in every sense, the easiest and most painless car buying experience we've ever had. And I remembered when I was in the market for my own new car in November 2020. Reached out to him again, caught up on families and told him what I was looking for. Two weeks ago, we had our car serviced. When I initially scheduled my service, I was told it would require a 4-day diagnostic test. I inquired about loaner cars or rentals - I was toldI could do that on my own, there were no loaners or rental options. The car was serviced. Three weeks later, the check engine light was displayed. I called to have the car serviced AGAIN. I was told the first option wasn't until Monday morning (I called Friday morning) and it would be another 4-day diagnostic. I requested to have service rep call me (9:30AM). By 12:30PM, I hadn't received a call back, I left another message - I was told everyone was out for lunch. By 1:30PM, I called back again and requested to have the service manager call me back - I even told the person taking the message that I didn't have faith they would return the call. By 2:30PM, I requested to speak to the general manager - I was told he was on the other line, then I was told he was in a meeting. I requested to speak to the assistant general manager - anyone that I could speak to. The response was that everyone was in an all day meeting. Luckily, I called Hiley Mazda (an hour drive away) and they were able to get our car in that day and with a loaner! I have purchased 3 Mazda vehicles!
