About 2 months later I did notice a small spot in the garage, so I took my truck to D & M for an assessment. They did the repair for a fraction of what con-artist-Modern Toyota was going to charge. I got my truck back the same day...D & M will get all my business going forward for both my vehicles. I only have good things to say about these guys and highly recommend. As a side note: beware of car dealerships when going in for anything simple because the repair advisors are usually on commission. I once took my truck to Vann York for an oil change and they said that I needed to have my control arms and steering rack replaced for $2000+ which I declined. So I got two opinions from independent repair shops (of which D&M was one), and was told control arms and rack were fine. Avoid car dealerships for any repairs as they see unsuspecting people to prey on. That said, D & M saved me lots of money!!

Even though my car is a rust bucket, they were able to work on my brakes when other places told me it might not be possible. Great atmosphere and seating areas, as well as a place for kids, and it was quiet enough that I could do homework while I waited. They have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and vending machines. Don Pennetta, my sales associate for my second and now third HR-V, listens to me and understands exactly what I am looking for in my car and how he help fit it into my budget. This isn't always easy! Don always picked up his phone, was available on site, was communicative and readily gave me the information I needed. The staff at this dealership treated me with care and much respect. I had a lot of questions and the answers were explained to me in detail by all. Sales Manager, Richard Hamilton, personally assisted me with particular issues and was a stellar gentleman. Finance Manager, Gene Kinney, fielded many more questions from me, was very efficient and also very understanding. After the all the paper work was done and my new HR-V was pulling up for me to drive home, Chris Thompson, the General Manager of Vann York Honda checked in with me to see if all was well and to thank me! I can't tell you how appreciative I am of all these gentlemen and how they made what I consider a very stressful experience gentler and kinder. Thank you!
