The only place Tesla corporate will allow body work for a warranty issue is 2 hours away from here.

So Tesla WILL NOT budge on me driving to Tampa to get a warranty paint issue fixed. I don't have 5 hours + on 2 different days to do this. Basically they give 0 $€!£$ about this and basically told me to go pound sand. This is NOT the way to stand behind your product. They used to allow local authorized body shops to do the repairs if you were not conveniently located to them. Now their corporate higher ups have staunchly refused to budge on their policy about not doing anything to help their existing customers out. Trying to get this done through their APP is also a nightmare. Their app grossly favors them, and makes it nigh on impossible to get a human (much less the same one twice). I will think twice before I ever buy another one of these particular things. The Musk can keep his zillion dollars. I'll drive this rust bucket around forever talking to everyone I can about how they refused to fix it. My advice - buy a different brand. These things have a good number of issues, and they DO NOT want to make it easy to fix them. Buyer Beware!

Never saw a car dealership in a mall before but hey, if they can have a store dedicated to selling socks, why not?! The guys were very friendly and even though I wasn't there to buy, they treated like I was and that's a break from the normal run of the mill car salespersons that lie to you, harass you and try to make yo feel like they're there to sell you something. CORRECTION... you're the patron it's they're pleasure and privilege to serve YOU, not the other way around. If I ever am in the market for a new car and if that car is the Tesla, I'm coming here!

Man.. these cars are just so freaking cool! I've never seen a dealership in a mall, but that's pretty much what the Tesla store is. Unlike combustion engine cars, they are fully electric, and are not produced in high numbers. You order them and they deliver. And apparently you get 277 miles on one charge. Now that's not gonna get you far, it's more of a touring car than a long distance drive, but the ride sure is sweet looking! Should I find myself with a couple of grand to spare, you can bet I'm buying one!

The Tesla Motors store inside of the University Town Center mall was a seriously awesome experience. Wait, a car dealership inside of the mall, WHAT?!?!? I had certainly read a lot of articles about the all-electric Tesla vehicle, but had never had the chance to really give it the once over and kick the tires, until now. I'm all in favor of alternate sources of energy, and renewal resources, so these folks had me from the very beginning. The dealership actually had two vehicles on display, plus a stripped down chassis, and lots of helpful displays to explain the Tesla concept and features. The Model S starts at over $70K, and when fully loaded can easily break six figures. Since this is a fully electric vehicle, you're limited by battery capacity in terms of how far you can go on a single charge, but still a very cool concept. 275 miles or so, seems to be the norm. I confess I was like a kid in a very expensive candy store, and wanted to sit behind the wheel, play with all of the electronic gadgetry on the dashboard, look under the hood, and so on. What was supposed to be a quick peek inside the store turned into an hour and a half visit. Thankfully I resisted the urge to pull out a credit card and ask for the red one......but Brett has kindly offered to buy it for me if I hit 1500 reviews before the year is over. Game on!

She is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. I highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a great service experience at BMW! She is truly wonderful and a huge asset to the team.

DO NOT GO TO BMW OF SARASOTA !!!…read more One of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a dealership. I scheduled my service appointment more than three weeks in advance. I arrived on time, dropped off my vehicle, and was told the work would be completed within a few hours. Later in the day, I received a text informing me that the required part wasn't in stock and wouldn't arrive until the following day, with no estimated arrival time provided. As a result, I was left without my vehicle for two days due to what appeared to be a complete lack of planning, inventory management, and communication on the dealership's part. Scheduling a customer for service without first confirming that the necessary parts are and will be available is unacceptable and demonstrates poor operational management. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of accountability. When I asked how the dealership planned to address the inconvenience, the response I received was essentially that nothing would be done and I could either accept the situation or not. Whether those were the exact words or not, that was the clear message I walked away with. It was dismissive, unprofessional, and showed no regard for the inconvenience caused. Delays can happen--I understand that. What customers expect is honesty, accountability, and an effort to make things right. Unfortunately, I received none of those. For a brand like BMW, I expected a much higher level of customer service and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling that my time simply didn't matter. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership.

WOW it's NOT all big bows and sunshine at this dealership. I had to buy my own bow so just stop!…read more BUYER 100% BEWARE CUIDADO, COMPRADO SEVERE operational dysfunction so bad that they are in violation of multiple explicit provisions of Florida Statutes § 320.27 (Motor Vehicle Dealers) and Florida Statutes § 501.204 (Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act - FDUTPA). Ryan Overstreet asked me to REMOVE my GOOGLE REVIEW, my 100% honest account of how they sold our trade without the proper NYS Gifting form because it was illegal. My negative review brings their stats down and calls them out on their deceptive sales practices! From what I understand after the past two months of doing my research, Google Reviews are pretty damn important for a car dealership. DID YOU KNOW: Dealerships can request your google reviews to be taken down and you will never know unless you go incognito! Since Ryan knows how to manipulate the Google reviews process, and KNOWS a "Local Guide Review" takes Relevance, he has "local guides" put these "great reviews" out there to override the negatives. How "real" are these local guide reviews, Google? Does the Dealership CREATE these factious profiles just to override negative reviews? Hummmmm? Why does this dealer has a review rating of 4.3 on Google, but less that 3.4 on DealerRater and less than 1.9 on Yelp? THANK YOU YELP for allowing us to tell our story without being manipulated by the dealership to take it down! Negative reviews tell you the true story! Positive reviews just make the dealership look good and now after doing 2 months of research, I have learned can be easily manipulated. DON'T BE FOOLS. Read the NEGATIVE reviews. Clearly these guys (mostly all male dealership-stereotypical car dealership), are experts at the ole "BAIT & SWITCH and in my opinion, Ryan should just teach classes in this because he's the GM ringleader expert! There are only a few women that work at this dealership; one that answers the phone and another who responds to reviews. Why are these positions not given to a man?? I'll let you think about that one for a bit. SITUATION: We traded 2 vehicles in for 2 new vehicles. My first new car purchase (no lease) at 57 years old and I deserved it after raising 4 children and working a high stress job, even holding 3 jobs during my children's early ages while pregnant. They took trades, didn't get the required gifting form for one of the vehicles and the story has been a 2 month NIGHTMARE! I'm a pit bull and will fight to the end so I am in for the long haul and will try my hardest to get Gettel Toyota of Bradenton held accountable for their deceptive business practices. I flew from NY to FL after the trade was restructured and they took a $1,500 payment as a deposit. Gettel knew I was coming but illegally sold the trade to a third party. When I arrived at the dealership, they had me sign the proper cash deposit Gifting Form, then isolated me in the office, had another manager come in, to tell me they sold my trade and they would get me a rental car to drive home. WOW again! THEN ON TOP OF IT, they pulled me into another office with Yarel (who was really nice by the way) and tried to get me to sign my life away and give me pennies. I REFUSED and left back home to NY w/paperwork in hand after crying at the dealership for hours trying to figure out my next move (I was supposed to be driving home at this point). If you value your money & especially your time, GO ELSEWHERE to get your Toyota. If you like playing games (hope you're great cuz these guys are experts), sitting in a dealership for days, then by all means go to Gettel Toyota of Bradenton. I would have loved to leave a great review but the amount of mistakes that STILL keep occurring is unfathomable, after being ghosted and referred to their attorney? After spending $125,000 all in, I need to be honest for you hard working Floridians who are getting ripped off. My sales guy Mick - TOP NOTCH and so was Sebastian! Rey, moved from Sales to Finance; sweet kid made to stay past 12am; Jon threw him to the wolves instead of mentoring the poor kid! Let's be honest because Gettel Management and Dealership as a whole is NOT. Sales guys are supposed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy! How do you think (according to Jon Cruz), this dealership sells over 300 cars per month (or between 10-15 cars per DAY)??? Fast talkers. They will do whatever to sell you a vehicle! Period. WHAT CAN WE DO TO GET YOU INTO THIS CAR TODAY? The operational end at Gettel Toyota of Bradenton is a complete disastrous failure and should be closed immediately for full and proper training in the back end. Period. Who doesn't feel great after getting a new car? Unfortunately, me! It has been 50 days of aggravation but DMV will hold them accountable. BUYER BEWARE and heed my warning. Take your business elsewhere.
