Nice shaded charging station next to a gas station and convenience store. It was really nice to charge while we took a quick stretching break, restroom break and snack time. By the time we were done, the car was done charging. They have so many chargers I would be surprised if there was a queue to charge. The price was normal for being in the middle of the desert and not having many options.

Super duper charging station. So many chargers available. Quick and convenient. Prices are good here depending on the time and day of use. Conveniently located next to Castaneda's Mexican food and Arby's.

When I pulled up, I seen 4-5 cyber trucks and so many teslas here! We were all mid desert and this was a fun supercharger to go to!

There are over 100 stalls here now, Including a few non-Tesla fast chargers. However, for the number of chargers they have here they need more amenities. There's just a convenience store and a Dairy Queen grill and chill. Not enough restrooms either. I will avoid this one for future trips.

It was ok! First time charged with no issues Return if part of the trip from Vegas There were more stalls down and I happened to use a bad one and moved And charging station lowered the charging rate so we waited longer. It's fine, maybe it was just busy. Restrooms near by is pretty filthy tho. It's a high traffic stop for road trip couples and families. Be ready to close your nose. Everything else charging was fine. There's food and shops near by.

First time stopping at this Tesla Supercharger at Baker. Great place to charge with over 40 to 50 stalls available for charging. Good location as there's roofing and shade when charging especially during this summer heat in the desert. This is a good stop from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and vice versa. While charging you can walk over and pick up some snacks at the convenient store and/or some subs from Jersey Mikes. They also have rest rooms that you can use. When we arrived around 5pm on a Sunday there were plenty of stalls open and available for charging. However, we got notifications that 6 stalls were not working. We made sure not to charge at the broken stalls. Will definitely stop at this location again to charge.

A lot of superchargers at this location. Can get busy on holiday weekends. While waiting they have Jersey Mikes and Dairy Queen for food plus a mini mart.

There are quite a few Tesla Supercharger stations along the 15 Hwy to Vegas but this is the largest location. With 96 superchargers, you will always find a supercharger to charge your vehicle anytime during the day or night. All chargers are equipped with covered parking which is great for the hot summer months. There is also an Electrify America charging station next to the superchargers for those EV's that are unable to use Tesla superchargers. While you are waiting to charge, you can grab some food or snacks from the Shell gas station, Dairy Queen and Jersey Mike's next door. They also have a public restroom that you can use. For those people traveling with dogs, there is also an enclosed dog area in the back of the gas station.

Lots of stalls, but lots of people as well.

With more & more charging stations popping up between Vegas & Southern CA, avoid this one. It's got plenty of station so really that's the point, but bathrooms are small and run down and there is often a wait. Best to charge in Barstow or Yermo.

96 stalls available to compete over.

96 total Supercharging stalls at this location, with many stalls that you drive up to, not just the traditional ones where you back into the stall to access the short robust charging cable. I am usual here in the middle of the night, so it is usually not very busy. Today it is just another Tesla picking up electrons before I arrived. Need a restroom break? There is a Shell gas station with your typical middle of nowhere restrooms, pungent smell included. Additional amenities? Opportunity for local wildlife sightings includes roadrunners and crows or ravens, I can't tell which one I saw, but they are the size of a small chicken or Chihuahua. So for what matters most for this service, I give it a 5 out of 5. Charging rate is high compared to Vegas, but seems normal for most Supercharger locations in CA. Not like there are many options if the car needs to charge up for the next leg towards denser population. Cheers!

We stopped in Baker, California--a tiny town of about 480 people that depends on tourism--and were pleasantly surprised. The EV charging stations were shaded and super convenient. Right next to them was a Shell gas station and a Dairy Queen with a shared restroom. The restroom was roomy, had modern glass sinks, and a few private stalls--perfect for a quick break. It's a great little stop, and we were glad to support this small town. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through!

Update: FREYJA FOUND! REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD After her wild two week desert adventure that started on July 14th, Freyja has been found safe and sound -- and is now back in the loving arms of her family (July 28th)! A massive tail-wagging THANK YOU to the amazing crew at Baker Auto (71759 Baker Blvd, Baker, CA 92309(71759 Baker Blvd, Baker, CA 92309) and family-- true heroes with grease-stained hands and golden hearts. Baker Auto (Tire and Towing) stands out as a premier automotive shop in the heart of Baker, CA - an invaluable resource for both locals and travelers alike. Freyja may have gone on a solo road trip, but thanks to their kindness, her story has a happy (and slobbery) ending.

Tesla station is fine but get your goods before you arrive. They've hiked up the prices at the Shell attached to the charge station.

It is a huge station with plenty of chargers available. Most of these are covered. When we plugged the charge, my brother decided to go to the gas station and get something to drink. There is like a hill to go up on the road and the gas station was right there. We passed the show on Netflix and I was waiting for him. When I noticed that he took a little bit longer than expected, I looked up. I saw him walking from the gas station down, but I did notice that he was walking at a brisk pace. I didn't think much about it. I thought he was just eager to come back to the show. Once he got to the car, he told me what happened. As he was coming out of the convenience of the gas station there was a "harmless homeless" who turned her attention to him the moment he walked out. He said he was walking normally, and he just heard the wheels of the cart behind him. He looked back as she started screaming as if she was possessed at him. When he noticed it was too late to turn around which happened to be what I saw him walking at a brisk pace. He thought that the homeless was gonna let go of the car going down the hill and hit him like a pin at a bowling alley. He was not too far from reality. Once he got in the car, she let go of her shopping cart. In the picture that is her collecting her stuff after the cart crashed, thankfully not at anybody.
