Not often do I find a supercharger that has high ratings, but this one out in Yermo, CA is one of the best. Mostly known for being part of EddieWorld, biggest gas station in CA and is one of the top options as a rest stop for traveling between Las Vegas and California. Once you see a giant pink ice cream cone, you know you've arrived at the supercharger area. Charged here heading to Vegas and on the way back from Vegas to CA, both times were super quick, quite busy though but there were opening spots. -- Charger Stats -- Up to 150kW max $0.43/kWh - Congestion fees (up to) $0.50/min - 18 accessible superchargers, 2 of the 18 chargers are drive forward spots while the other 14 are reverse car into spot chargers. If you arrive here between 6 am to midnight times, you'll be able to enter EddieWorld to buy snacks and/or to use their restrooms (pretty clean). Chargers itself are 24/7 use. There's other chargers around 5-10 mile radius but this one seem the most popular and most clean. My wife and I were able to explore EddieWorld while the car was charging, easily spending 30 min to an hour here resting up. read more

Easy to access station, when you see that giant ice cream cup while you're driving on the 15 take that exit and head to the back paste the gas station pumps. There's 18 charge ports. While you waiting you can grab some snacks or use the restrooms in Eddie world. The store is actually pretty clean so you don't have to worry about using some filthy sketchy bathroom. read more

Love that this location has 2 stalls where you can drive forward into a spot to charge your vehicle. Plus there are many stalls here (22 max), although at present there are 3 that are out of service. Plus if you are here during EddieWorld's business hours, 6am to midnight now, you can utilize their facilities as well. There are a few other Tesla Supercharger locations nearby, so this location and the others have never been too busy. Also love that this location calculates the charging fee based on 0.001 kWh, not 1kWh. At present the rate is $0.41/kWh any time of day. So higher than what I typically pay in Las Vegas, but competitive for a mid way pitstop location. I will definitely come back if I am ever passing through. Bonus sighting of roadrunners possible. Especially just after sunrise. read more

If you see the giant ice cream cone from Eddie's World off the side of the highway, then you're in the right spot. These Tesla Superchargers in Yermo are perfectly placed for those of headed to Vegas from LA about half way through to get our charging in to make it the rest of the way. 22 Chargers available, though only 18 will give you full power. I've gone at times when I've grabbed one of the last spots and then seen a line form but I've also rolled in when there were few other Teslas charging. Just depends on your luck and timing. That being said, it's an ideal road trip charging station. Bathrooms, snacks & drinks, hot foods, ice creams, even toys & games - they have anything you could need inside Eddie's World. My friend and I usually hit the restrooms, grab a coffee and snack, then watch some shows to get charged up before hitting the road again. read more

But the stop itself has Eddie's world which has huge clean restrooms with about 2 dozen stalls of each gender. There are fresh food options as well as tons of candy and snacks. Toiletries and medicine as well. When I came there it the charging stations were packed. But we got a spot when someone left. The chargers aren't the fastest, but the Eddie's world gave us something to do while we wait. Not far away is another supercharger station in Yermo on Sunrise Canyon Rd. It has 40 250kW stations. But it doesn't have a store to buy things. So for a charging stop in Yermo, you'll need to determine if you need to buy something or want to charge quickly. read more

Update from December 2023: 1. There are now some additional Tesla chargers. BUT, they are too close to each other so one stall blocks two of them; AND people don't know about them so sometimes there is a line waiting for the original stalls but 1-3 of the added ones are sitting there unused. 2. In November there was 1 broken charger. In December there are now 3 broken chargers. 3. There is another Tesla station (with I think 24 stalls) just 1 mile northeast which may be faster if you don't need a stop at EddieWorld. read more

Took baby beluga on its first trip from LA to Vegas and was deciding between Yermo vs Baker, which is about 50 miles apart. Oh boy was I glad I stopped by Yermo to fuel my body with some chocolate covered gummies. Located on the far right corner of the complex, there are 18 stalls up to 150kW plus 4 that only get up to 72kW. When I pulled into charge, there were only 2 stalls that were empty but they were quickly filled. The fastest charging speed I clocked was 61kW (260 mi/hr). While you wait, you can stroll into EddieWorld which has an assortment of packaged candies, chocolates, and dried fruits/nuts. They also had a place to grab a quick bite of burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, and scoops of ice cream. Added bonus was vegan option available with impossible burgers, which they advertised they cook on a different stove. I also spotted a selection of vegan jerky options next to all their beef jerkies. Restrooms were plentiful and clean, which is something I know we all appreciate on long road trips. It's a nice midway point from LA to Vegas so stop by and check it out! read more

Driving from Vegas to LA. Originally planned to stop at the Barstow supercharger. However the navigator wanted me that there were problems at the Barstow supercharger so I opted to stop in your mouth. Excellent choice. There are about 20 charging stalls. All are in service. There is even one you can pull in forward so if you're hauling a trailer or have bikes behind your car, it shouldn't be a problem getting to the charger. Sharing the lot is the EddieWorld. EddieWorld has to be the worlds biggest candy store. But the other advantage is they have some fast food options including the two minute pizzas and sandwiches. I opted for a Cobb salad. The price was fair ($12). The salad was huge and fresh. And they had an outdoor eating area where the tables were very separated so I felt very safe. read more

5 minutes from Northern Barstow, 10 minutes from the Barstow outlets and right off the 15 freeway by the Calico Ghost Town. The Superchargers are located on the Eddie's World property, about 40 of them, in Yermo. Easy access off the freeway, Eddie's World is a huge candy shop with clean restrooms, a fast food made to order area, snacks and beverages, even beer! There's also a gas station for you non-Tesla owners. Good stop on the way to Vegas! read more

I've never had to stop here when I drove a gasoline car. However, with a Tesla, I found myself here on my trip out to Las Vegas. There were more charging stalls here compared to the Barstow station. It's located in the southeast corner of the EddieWorld parking lot. Once the car was plugged in for a charge, I did what everyone else did. I went inside EddieWorld to use their restroom. EddieWorld was pretty huge. There were several options for food, treats, and snacks. They have signs directing you to the restroom. For the men's restroom, if you have a full bladder, you just might score a high score with their urinals! read more

We took a quick road trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. The Tesla navigation routed us here to charge on the way to Las Vegas and also on the way back. On the way to Las Vegas, we stopped here around 10PM to charge. There were about 4 or 5 other cars charging and we were able to get in quickly, get charged, and get going. The duration of the charge was about the duration of a restroom stop at Eddie World. On the way back from Las Vegas was a completely different story. We charged at station 1A and the charging was extremely slow. We arrived at the charging station around 12:30PM. There were maybe 8 to 10 other vehicles charging. Station 1A was only giving us about 30kW. Needless to say, this time around, it took longer to charge than a quick trip to the restroom at Eddie World. read more

The wait for a charger was longer than estimated (estimated 5 minutes and took about 20), maybe because chargers are super slow (about 138mi/hr). And slow chargers means triple the original estimated stop to continue trip. I think everyone having to charge their batteries longer in 113 degree heat that is draining battery just to keep cabin at a reasonable temperature. Don't recommend relying on this one during hot summer drives. Eddies World is no Bucees... just a novelty first time but mostly junk candy and would happily drive past next time. read more

4-5 stalls are not working. Not sure why Tesla isn't directing others to the sunrise canyon location. Possibly maintenance but wish at this location it would have mention how many open stalls were available. A longer wait time than the usual due to high congestion of teslas waiting to charge. Whoever is suppose to maintain the charging stalls should have placed a sign or something that it's not working. Just a bit chaotic. read more

Love having a SC and at Yermo. It's either this location or Barstow as a half way stop on the way to Vegas for a quick stop. Never a wait on the 18 stalls located just left of the store. When temp reaches 110 here, the walk to the Eddie World does seem a bit far. The $0.28/kw and took me about 50 min for a 90% charge from 10%. The bathrooms at Eddie World are one of the cleanest but the food here are not recommended by us. The burger joint was okay while the steak sandwich we got here made us slightly sick. If this area was covered, I would totally give it 5 stars! read more

My favorite place to charge the Tesla when going and coming from Vegas

We stopped in Baker on our way out to Vegas and we were the only Tesla at the Supercharger . . . which was nice, but we also had to walk down a dusty road in 100 degree weather to get food. On the way back home we stopped in Yermo and it was great!! It's at the new reststop with the giant icecream cup you can see from the freeway. Inside there is homemade icecream, pizza, burgers, candy, beef jerky, toys, and most importantly, Peet's Coffee. It is the only place we will be charging during Vegas trips from now on! read more

Giving five stArs for the location and having Eddies world here. Seems that by default from bay arrea to vegas the trip planner on tesla will suggest to charge at mojave and then baker ((just did the same trip last week). This is on yermo and in my opinion is much better than mojave if you are traveling in the wee hours of the morning. I just came from Mojave and it was very isolated. So I just did a quick charge there and now here at yermo. Mojave is good dont get me wrong, it was grrat lst time Im there. its just the time of day or a offseason travel time as to why nobody was there. All I am trying to say is that if you dont feel comfortable at mojave, there is another at yermo. Pst barstow. ill post pics comparing the two. read more

Maybe it's me but charging rate seems to be slower than expected but that may be due to the numerous of cars currently being charged. 55 degrees around 9am on a Sunday with 17 cars charging and I'm getting 75kW at its peak. This location is located right next to Eddie's world. So by the time i was done using the cleanest restroom in the world and bought a few treats for the road i was out the door and ready to go.
