My daughter was still fast asleep in the passenger seat and completely missed this The only thing opened at this time was a donut shop. I had a feeling they wouldn't want me to use the bathroom unless I bought something and I definitely was not in the mood for a doughnut and I had my coffee with me already. So I just leaned my seat back and rested while the car charged I believe this is the last charging stop before going into the Grapevine. I'm glad I stopped because I would hate to be running low or run to any traffic situations in the mountains. This is an ok charge stop for the Castaic area. Rates are generally lower than down the freeway but it can get congested. Not many food options. There's a sushi spot and Mexican restaurant and donut shop. read more

As far as supercharger stations go this one is as plain Jane as it gets. No public restroom, not many stalls either. Although, this station is a little of the path, so not sure how much traffic it gets. There is great charging speed here, so that's nice. I guess if youre here in the day time, it would probably be a better experience. There are a couole restaurants, a bank of America and a donut shop all in the parking g lot. But tye no restroom really chaps my hide. Charging at all a million supercharger stations on a trip from socal to bay area and back to socal is actually more expensive than gas. Dont believe me? Go mouch off our tax dollars elsewhere, Electric in 2020 cost me less than .20 cents a kilowatt and because all you people lacking an IQ cant understand supply and demand, it has risen over 300% in pricing. This place does NOT have any public restrooms, and we have to buy from the stores to use the restrooms. I would like to know if Tesla could consider adding restrooms to their charging areas since we already pay for the product. One thing that Tesla Supercharger locations need is at least a restroom that one can use. Most of the time we are stopped for about 15-20 minutes and a restroom would be very nice. Unfortunately there were none at this location unless you entered one of the restaurants to purchase some food. I guess at that time you could use the restroom. Another odd thing is that there is no clear indication on which side of the parking lot one needs to park the car to connect to the charger properly. One Tesla owner parked on the wrong side and had to stretch the charging cable to the charging port. read more

It's a really a solid charger for quickness but please do not stop here if you're on a long trip. This is the dumbest place they could've put a supercharger because the businesses do not allow you to pee. We did walk to the plaza next door and pay for some food at the pizza place to use their restroom. But generally you cannot use the restroom here it's just a pit stop to charge! read more

There are multiple restaurants in the shopping center and every single one of them have large signs saying no restrooms available and 'do not ask.' There are absolutely no restrooms available anywhere near this charging station. Was nearly full when I came at 5 on Sunday. I didn't see any public restrooms nearby but the annoying thing about this charger is there's no clear sense of which charger is occupied as you can park on either side of the spot. I can't imagine how confusing this is when it's crowded. read more

This is hands down the WORST charging station in California that I have ever been to. No bathrooms even when we bought donuts they wouldn't let us use their bathrooms. You may have to use the bushes lol! There has been tons of garbage and zero shade. For some reason we always get routed to this one :( We always use the bathroom at Ralph's before or after charging. Yes like many others said, it's really not cool that there isn't a public bathroom. I went to the Mexican place and bought a big Horchata and used the bathroom but I'd rather not buy another drink to speed the next pee break up. And sure not a meal since I wasn't hungry nor did I want to spend money. I was at this place twice on that day. On my way to Fresno and on my way back. Also like someone here mentioned, it isn't really clear on which side to park but I think it's intended to be on the right side when you drive towards it. First time we parked on the left side and could reach any open plug so we went on the other side. Second time around we parked on the right side but when we wanted to grab a plug the person on the other side already used it and I had to move my car one spot over. Very annoying. The chargers were fast, which is about the only good thing about this place. Absolute worse supercharging experience in my 6 years of owning a Tesla. We stopped here during a long road trip and my son needed to pee as his bladder is the size of a walnut. None of the businesses had public restrooms. The Castaic supercharger is in a little strip mall that doesn't want you here. Only one business will let you use their bathroom IF you buy something. I ordered a taco from them and couldn't wait the 45 minutes for it to be ready. In short. NO services here. read more

Fast 250 chargers usually quite empty, with nearby donuts, sushi, and taqueria. Starbucks and gas stations with air a mile south on Old Rd.

We were routed here when driving all the way from Palm Springs. The Luv'n Donuts shop is open but they don't have a restroom for customers so we're gonna have to charge and then drive to a gas station making our trip longer. This is not a great stop. read more

As others have said, no available bathrooms. There's a donut place there that was the only thing open at 6:15 am when we came through going north, but it had a sign, "no public bathrooms." Not "restrooms for patrons only." We opted to go away from the freeway about two miles for Jack in the Box. Opted for Starbucks in the same plaza instead. Good choice as there were two available, clean bathrooms, and good coffee to boot. Would have liked to support a business near the chargers, but please, make it easier for us. read more

There are NO restrooms at this location. We stopped on a Sunday midday and the doughnut shop and the Mexican place were the only places open and neither of them have public restrooms. We even bought doughnuts at the doughnut place and they STILL would not let us use the restrooms! Mexican place makes you buy a full meal to use the restroom. Given that restroom use is pretty critical, I don't recommend stopping at this charging stop unless it is a (charging) emergency. That said, we got the last spot and there were three Teslas that arrived after us that had to wait. So it might be full if you arrive at a peak time. We just charged enough to get to Kettleman City, used the restrooms at Ralphs and headed on our way. NOT A GOOD STOP. Note to doughnut shop owners: you could increase your sales by allowing restroom use with a minimum purchase. read more

Very easy to find, in perfect location between Santa Paula and Burbank airport. Lots of chargers, with only a couple in use at 8 am on Sunday morning. There is a very active donut store, but we did not need donuts or a rest room, so that was not a consideration. We charged to 90% in just a short stop, enough to return the rental car at the required 70%. read more
