Here was my original report: A 10% charge to run credit cards and I have yet to talk to somebody he has returned the deposit to. (Count off that $150) There are plenty of other options in the area, avoid this man and this company. I go to the county and the city on Monday. CURRENT UPDATE: Now, a few weeks late, I did get a call from the corporate office telling me they returned the deposit (check is in the mail). The gentleman tells me the office had actually done so before he spoke to them, on their own initiative. If I give them the benefit of the doubt, and I feel I can, I will receive it back in a few days. Since I cannot speak for any other person claiming he does not return the deposits I will consider doing business from here again; however, I have used Enterprise 5 times in the month since I returned the van to this place and have not had one issue with them. My advise? Approach with caution; he is the cheapest rental in town, but pay with cash. However, on day 21 you better call and find out where your deposit is and stay on top of it. If the true reason for my deposit was an office oversight, they seem to be a little disorganized.

Much more than a towing business. We were on vacation and my car went over a rock while leaving a…read moreboat put-in area from a remote area, cutting my car's oil pan for which virtually all of the oil leaked out. As this happened late Saturday afternoon, we resigned ourselves of trying get our car towed to a service center that repaired VW's. After we received a lift back to where we were staying, this place was recommended by my insurance company. How fortunate for us as Mr. Johnston was not only able to tow our vehicle but said that if it was just the oil pan, he could repair it. He contacted several parts distributors for the part and after he replaced it, was able to determine that additional parts were required. To expedite the process and to ensure he had the necessary parts, he drove to Morgantown to pick up the parts. Unfortunately one of the parts would not be available for six weeks. Nevertheless the repair was satisfactory to drive back 200 miles and explained to my mechanic the dilemma and what he needed to do. If that was not enough, he called me the next morning to determine whether we arrived home as well as reiterated advise as to the precautions we need to take until ordered part would be received by our mechanic.
