This supercharger has been one of the best superchargers hands down. It's right off 680. There are 16 stalls here that are always available. The superchargers here are capable of doing 100-120kw, it's about 450mi/hr, which means charge times is less. I've been here a lot of times and I always never have to wait! The area is at the embassy suite parking lot so rest rooms depends on the hotel workers. Same with the food, the only option is eating in the hotel which has a bar. The place is well maintained, it's clean and proper. I also feel safe if I was to come here in the middle of the night to charge. I would give it five stars only if there are more food and drink options at this superchargers. Starbucks should open a store here. I'm sure it will be real busy too. Tesla Supercharger Embassy Suites - Wow 113kw! - EV Charging Stations Near Me - Milpitas, California

This supercharger location is pretty conveniently located next to my girlfriend's house so I dropped by on my way home. I think that if not for the first supercharging starting and stopping continuously for the first 5 minutes of use, this would actually be a good location to use! The positives: - It's right near 680/237 so whether you're going north south or west you're good to go. - There were plenty of empty superchargers / parking spaces - My second supercharger did work so 1/2 isn't a great hit rate, but it's not the worst I've seen. Negatives: - There are a couple of hobos walking around that made me slightly uncomfortable - The first supercharger didn't work - No public restroom or real amenities unless you want to sneak into the Embassy Suites Overall not the worst supercharger and a very convenient location! read more

This place has 16 stalls, but everytime I come by, there's at least one stall marked as not working. Also BE AWARE when you come charge at night as there is LACK OF LIGHTING in this area of superchargers. So safety is a concern. Why does Tesla not work on this to install more lights??? Or pay the hotel property management to do it?!?? read more

This is a very convenient supercharger location located next to the 680 freeway. The Chargers are located on the parking lot of the Embassy suites. The location is a bit dark and not very well lit. There are many chargers so it is likely you will find one that is available. I did not see any dining options nearby however I am reading it four stars because of the convenience so close to the freeway read more

Always plenty of chargers available when I tend to visit early in the morning. The Embassy Suites is probably the nicest one I have seen. Great hotel remodel. Not a lot of businesses within a quick walk. A longer walk takes you to a Safeway mall. read more

I've used this Tesla Supercharger location twice in the past 2 weeks and I've had problems both times. Last week I pulled in and grabbed one of the chargers near the front of the hotel. I plugged in and unplugged in a few times and it would not start charging. Since there were a lot of open spots, I moved my car to another stall and it was able to charge properly. Today I visited this location again and charged my car near the middle. I've had multiple interruptions where the car would stop charging. I did a combination of waiting to see if it would start back on its own or unplug and plug back in. Overall, it was not as smooth as other charging locations because of this issue. At this location, you have an option to walk into the hotel to use the bathroom or buy some food. The location is near the freeway exit. read more

Positives: The charging station is easily found and there are several bathrooms available on the lobby level of the embassy suites. Negative: 50% of the charge ports are open yet we're still only getting 24kw - UGH! If you need to charge to full capacity, don't stop here. It is governed to stop your charge when you reach 80% capacity. read more

Location is nice since it allows you to take a nice little break inside the Embassy Suites. You are greeted with a menu attached to the charger for the restaurant inside. There's also a "grab n go" area with snacks and refreshments but it isn't much of a grab n go because I had to wait a good 10-15 minutes just to pay for my item while the staff checked folks in. read more

Trash charger total BS , caps at 80% saying it's high usage but there are only a couple of cars here... For a company that diddles with "artificial intelligence" is it that hard to make charging truly dynamic and not based on imaginary occupancy?! Also , map says 150kw, but only charges at 24kw even though my battery at 40%. Total BS and massive waste of time! read more
