The lounge is easy to find and check in was a breeze. The space is large - you walk into a seating area and to the right is the bar and food. There are multiple areas to sit and even a quiet area set back from the rest. We found a seat and I ordered a sparkling Rose. Each table has a bar code that you an scan and order your drinks, they have a large menu to select from but you can only order one drink at a time. The drink arrived promplty and after settling in, we went to check out the food. The menu is not extensive, they had a salad bar, chips and dip, bar snacks, a soup and some fried rice. Not extensive but that is a relief sometimes because too many choices can be overwhelming. The onion dip was fabulous as were the bar snacks. The soup was nice and warm and mixing in some of the rice made for a very filling meal. They also have flavored water and fruit, packed and ready to go. The wine are mostly from CA but they had a couple of French wines, I also tried a chardonnay that hit the spot! There was one woman who sat right in the center of the seating area and proceeded to gossip and complain about work and her co-workers as loudly as if she was in her living room. It was long conversation and even though she was loud enough to be heard outside, no one came by to tell her to take it somewhere else. I took one star off for that - the employees should ensure that it is a welcoming place for all travelers not just the self centered ones. The best part of the visit was the dessert, they had a fluffy layered cake, covered with mousse, jam and topped with whipped cream - so good! This lounge also seems less crowded than the The Club in another part of SJC. You can buys a day pass or you can visit this place with Priority Pass. Overall a great experience and I would go back again.

I was in there early AM and there are three hot entrees (egg bites, dollar pancakes and hot oatmeal) not a great spread but enough to power you up for the flight. Service was good, they came by and cleaned up quicky by removing the dishes. The entire area is clean. I enjoyed the time I was there.

    This school is unethical. One of their customers rented their airplane and died, after trying to…read morecontrol the uncontrollable airplane for nearly 3 hours. The first thing the school did was try to shed any blame off themselves by suggesting/speculating intentional pilot actions. Their airplane that crashed, N5203H, was also previously totalled in 2016 but they kept flying it anyways. If you love life and care about your loved ones, I'd avoid this school. There are plenty of other schools that won't turn their back on you if you have an accident.

Understand that less than 20% of students actually achieve their PPL. The challenges are cost, availability of instructors and planes, weather, instructor objectives, personal availability, and other minor obstacles. Instruction quality can be both lacking or superior depending on who is teaching. If your goal is to get your PPL quickly, a flight school is a bad choice. Do some research before you decide. I didn't and I've spent over 4 years, $90K, and have had 5 instructors in pursuit of my PPL. If you're not in a rush and are just curious, it will work for you. It isn't easy and requires commitment. Get some guidance and explore the alternatives. Instructors have to complete your training and sign you off for your check ride. If they leave for better opportunities, you have to start over. At $300 and hour for rental and instructor cost, it gets expensive fast.

    This was by far one of the worst airline experiences I have ever had. My flight was delayed for an…read moreentire day, and Frontier's handling of the situation was completely unacceptable. Passengers were told that hotel accommodations would be provided, yet we were left waiting all day with no information. Hotel details were not provided until around 10-11 PM, after hours of uncertainty, frustration, and being stranded at the airport. No one seemed to know what was going on, and Frontier failed to communicate with its passengers in a timely manner. To make matters worse, we were told that meal vouchers would be provided because of the delay, but I never received any meal voucher at all. Expecting passengers to spend an entire day dealing with a delay without providing the promised assistance is unacceptable. Customer service was absolutely useless. I contacted both phone and chat support, only to be told that they could not do anything and that I needed to go back to the ticketing counter. The ticketing counter then had limited information as well. Passengers were sent in circles with no real help, no accountability, and no solutions. It felt like no one at Frontier was willing or able to take responsibility for assisting stranded customers. A one-day delay is already a major inconvenience, but Frontier's lack of communication, failure to provide promised meal vouchers, delayed hotel information, and ineffective customer service turned a bad situation into a terrible experience

    First Class or Never Again…read more We recently flew United from San Jose to Orlando with connections both ways--Chicago on the way out and Denver on the return--for a birthday trip that completely changed our expectations of flying. We decided to treat ourselves to first class, and honestly... we may have ruined coach forever. Every single leg of the trip was fantastic. The service from the flight attendants was attentive without being overbearing, the pilots delivered incredibly smooth flights, and everything just felt seamless. Our flights were impressively on time overall. The only hiccup was a short delay leaving Orlando, with about a 20-minute taxi on the tarmac--but that was out of the crew's control, and they more than made up for it once we were in the air. The food was consistently excellent--served hot and surprisingly delicious for airline meals. And the little touches? They made all the difference. From the warm towel service to the champagne at boarding, great drink options, and top-notch attention throughout the flight, it felt like a true experience rather than just transportation. We're still debating what my husband loved most--the champagne, the service, or just being pampered the entire way. Either way, this birthday trip set the bar very high. Five stars all the way.

Boarding for the narrowbody started 50 minutes prior to take-off. Ground crew were nice although I couldn't quite understand why 75% of the plane were either pre-boards, Group 1 or Group 2. Interestingly enough, Group 3 on United is window, Group 4 middle, and Group 5 aisle. Group 6 is basic economy with personal item only. The ~10 year old 737 was in decent shape. The only IFE was Wifi that worked. Wifi was free for messaging or $8 for surfing. The seat cushsions were almost worn out and the snack options were limited and minimal. Our flight departed on-time and arrived before our scheduled arrival time.
