2025 and they're still using the only ones using 72kW Superchargers in an area as busy as DTLA. Speaks for itself. Majority of the time, you can't even get the full 72kW because this station is always "limiting" it and even if I precharge and come with low battery sometimes I have to wait an hour to charge just to 80%. Unbelievable do better Tesla.

This place was a life saver after I went to the Indigo Hotel, they wanted to charge $13 just to charge on top of the actual cost to charge my car. Once you come in you will get a parking ticket. The cost is free for 1 hour. Take you ticket and drive up to the 5th floor, make 2 left turns and the chargers will be on your right. I came on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of chargers available. Charging at 302 miles an hour I was in and out in no time.

16 superchargers on the 5th floor of the parking garage. Yay!

Yay! More chargers are available downtown! 16 superchargers here are fired up and ready to give your Tesla a boost. The output was decent today when I plugged in with 47kW and 165mi/hr. Not as high as some other chargers but it gets the job done. Be sure to head all the way up to the 5th floor of the parking garage off of Center St. There is no signage for the superchargers in the parking garage although I was prompted by my screen while I was navigating to the area that they are on the 5th floor. Parking for the first hour or two was free today but check that on your way in to minimize surprises on the way out.

New Supercharger in DTLA at the Row. As typical with Tesla there is no signage so you must know they are located on the fifth level of the parking garage. And you need to pull a parking ticket.

Located in the 5th floor of ROW dtla parking structure. Went there on Thursday around 6:00 pm and there was plenty of space. Started out around 66kw but started going down to 20kw ish when I almost done charging. It started getting packed by the time I was leaving (charged for about 25mins).

The first thing that stood out was the size of the station. There are 40 DC fast chargers, including 27 Tesla chargers, so finding an available charger wasn't an issue. The entire facility feels modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with large solar canopies providing shade over the charging stalls. What really separates Rove from a typical charging stop is everything else they offer. There's a ReCharge by Gelson's market with snacks, drinks, and fresh food, a comfortable lounge with free Wi-Fi, clean restrooms, a car wash, complimentary vacuums, and even a water bottle filling station. It feels more like a premium travel stop than a charging station. I especially appreciated the little details. The property was spotless, there was security on site, and the complimentary vacuums were a nice touch. The facility feels safe, well-maintained, and welcoming whether you're stopping for 15 minutes or a longer charge. The location is also convenient right off the 5 Freeway, making it an easy stop while traveling through Orange County. As EV adoption continues to grow, this is exactly the type of charging experience I'd like to see more of. Plenty of chargers, great amenities, clean facilities, and a comfortable place to spend your charging time. If you're an EV owner and haven't checked out Rove yet, it's worth the stop.

Despite being a paying customer spending money at your stores and restaurants, I was charged the full $15 parking fee. Now that's not the first time that the validation is not working or applied!!!! But now what ? You will go back to the store after walking to your parking floor?!? This policy feels unreasonable and excessive. Customers who come to support the businesses at The Grove should not be penalized with outrageous parking charges over a few minutes. Situations like this discourage people from shopping and dining there. There should be a grace period or a reduced fee for customers who slightly exceed the validation time, especially when they are actively spending money on the property. Very disappointing customer experience.

Now he's a pro at taking it all in and enjoys museum days with me. And The Broad has become one of our faves in DTLA. General Admission is always free, but you need to reserve tix online on their website. You get to sneak in works from Warhol, Basquiat, Murakami's cheery flowers, Jeff Koon's balloon sculptures, and Barbara Krueger's socially-profound pieces. Kusama's "Infinity Mirrored Room" requires advanced online reservations while her "Longing for Eternity" installation does not. Also, The Broad has a Family Field Day (free admission until 5pm on June 27 & 28). There are other free access times like every Thursday evening from 5 to 8pm when you can see the Yoko Ono exhibit and 3rd floor galleries. Museum is closed on Mondays.

I reached out to them at 9:17am. A few minutes later, I received an admittedly pleasant call from someone on their team based in California. We then proceeded to text from there, at which point I gave him my address and paid $130 to begin the service. At 10:41am, I asked for an update. At 12:57pm, I received a response asking if they could come sometime after 4pm. I agreed, and he said he would have an exact ETA for me soon. At 5:06pm, I asked for an update -- I got no response. At 6:57pm, I asked for another update. The exact response I got was: "im sorry lets please do tomorrow." I was annoyed, but I also understood that bad weather had hit my city that day, so slowdowns might be expected. I immediately responded and told them we need to schedule an exact window for my services to begin the next day. No response. At 8:11pm, he ignored my previous text and instead informed me that a driver could show up in "in 30 min." Given that I was told over an hour ago that they could not show up until tomorrow (to say nothing of the fact that 1) I didn't believe him, given our previous interactions, and 2) it would be almost 9pm by the time someone would allegedly show up), I told him that would not work for me, and that we needed to determine a window for service the next day. I offered any time between 8:30am - 11:30am. The only response I received to that text was "Ohhhh" So then I followed up again: "When in that window works?" The response I received was "Let me ask you do you need your 12v replaced?" No. I do not. At no point in our 12-hour call/text string did I ever say I needed my 12V replaced. I explained that, and this individual simply gave the message a thumbs-up in response, and continued refusing to commit to a service window. The next day, I reached out at 8:30am, asking where they were. No response. At 10:10am (more than 24 hours after this whole process began), I informed them that I would be cancelling my service and expecting a refund. Given that I was now fully convinced they were trying to scam me, I told them I needed proof of a refund initiation within the next 2 hours, otherwise I would file a chargeback as well as lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I received my refund at 10:37am. The representative, when showing me proof of the refund, told me that they "had a driver that was gearing up to get ready, but there you go." Had there been clearer lines of communication, plans that didn't change, and commitments provided, I could have looked past almost all of the above. But the lack of responses/responses that didn't actually reply to the questions I asked, combined with an ever-shifting window for service that ultimately culminated in an over 24-hour-long wait for nothing, was just too ridiculous.
