The worst towing company out there. My young daughter and I…read moreended up stranded all alone in the rain on the top level of an empty parking garage at 11:00pm with a dead battery. I called my insurance company to help me. They called One Call Away to come and give me a jump. When the tow truck showed up over 1.5 hours later, the driver got out and started yelling at me because my car was in a parking garage, and his truck just barely fit because of the low clearance. He also immediately started hooking up a battery charger to my battery as he yelled. I tried telling him that I informed the insurance company when I requested help that I was parked in a parking garage, and that I didn't know what the clearance was. I said that I told the insurance company that I didn't need a tow truck because all I needed was a jumpstart. He just kept yelling at me saying that his truck is worth $160,000 and other stuff I couldn't understand. This guy was big enough to be a pro wrestler. I started to get scared. I took one step backwards, put both hands in the air (palms out) and said, " Oh my gosh, F**k me." I guess my cussing upset his delicate sensibilities because he then started unhooking the cables from my battery. He just packed up and left without helping me. I asked, "Are you just leaving us here?" He said, "Yep." So I had to call my insurance company again, and they sent a different company to come and help me. The second guy showed up 15 minutes later, was friendly and jumped started my battery for me. I cannot recommend One Call Away to anyone. My biggest complaint is that he upset and scared my child and made her cry because she could hear him yelling at me. I told my insurance company not to give One Call Away any credit for the call or give them any money because they refused to help me and my little girl.

Recently we visited Pleasant Hill Marina to rent a boat during an overnight trip to Mansfield. We…read morerented a boat here a couple years ago as well so we knew we would be in good hands. We reserved the boat online where we were able to reserve for the number of hours we wanted. We choose the lowest option which was 2 hours. Upon showing up for our reservation we were given a test for a one day boaters license. We were then taken out to the boat and walked through all the safety features before being sent out on the lake. The lake is not incredibly large but big enough to find a spot to relax, swim or drive around looking at scenery. We look forward to visiting this location again soon.
