The parking company rips you off. Posted rate is $2 per 15 minutes, but I stayed 50 minutes and was charged $11. It should be $8 ($2 x 3). I just read some Google reviews, people reporting being charged $8-11 for less than 10 minutes. I would use this Supercharger if I could count on only paying for the time I'm in there, since it evens out with the lower $/kWh, and it would be a total win if you live or are staying downtown. However I can't support shady business practices like tacking on hidden fees. I will be driving a few miles extra to Fashion Valley.

Cybertrucks BEWARE!! Stay away from this supercharger. The truck doesn't fit in any space. We needed to take up two spots and three cars almost hit us while attempting to park / charge. The engineers who designed this should be fired.

    Ridiculous!

There's NO reason a Tesla Supercharger should take more than 10-15min!! The location in Mission Valley is 100x better than this...guess it's going to be a late late late dinner for us!

    Plenty of available spots

Decent spot to charge if you have time to kill. $8 to park for 1 hour but only $.26/kWh. Other nearby locations are $.46/kWh (250kW max). Took 45 mins to charge from 25 to 100% (72kW max)

    The X getting a quick 25 minutes

3-Stars for the location and locating this supercharger... Decided to charge before dinner downtown and didn't want to drive to Fashion valley that night. The pros: - A decent amount of superchargers - Not really busy (the 2 times I've been here) - Decent kWh charging speed The cons: - Small tight spaces (I cant imagine if this got busy) for the space size and distance between the 2 rows. You will have to make a few turns to reverse and leave when you're done. - Paid parking (I guess it's good since who really wants to pay for parking, hence the reason it's probably never busy. - No amenities whatsoever I had trouble location this at first, I entered off the wrong street, you will need to enter from A. St since it's literally located at the very bottom level. For me, this supercharger location is a last resort for me if I dint want to wait elsewhere. Top of a quick 20-30 minutes then head off.

Lame, you have to pay to park! [$8 per hour, after 5pm $5 flat rate] This on top of any addl charges per kw if you have a Model 3.

Lame, you have to pay to park! [$8 per hour, after 5pm $5 flat rate] This on top of any addl charges per kw if you have a Model 3. This is no way to encourage electric and decrease range anxiety. Especially in San Diego, since the only other Supercharger is always full (Qualcomm). Never been to a gas station that charges for parking...

I wasn't able to charge it, so please don't waste your time. You'd be better off going to a regular Supercharger.

The Central Library has easily become one of my favorite libraries to visit. I don't get down here…read moreoften since I don't live nearby, but every time I do, I make a beeline for the ninth floor. It's an incredible space dedicated to genealogy and history, making it the perfect place to dive into family research. This visit was especially meaningful because I brought family members who were visiting from out of town. As we prepare for an upcoming family reunion while also grieving the recent loss of a loved one, we were able to uncover photographs of family members we had never seen before. It was an emotional and unforgettable experience that made our visit truly special. One of the best features is that the library offers free access to genealogy resources like Ancestry Library Edition and other historical databases that have helped me piece together my family's story. I also recently learned that every Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., volunteer genealogy specialists are available to help the public--for free! I'll definitely be returning during those hours because researching family history often feels like peeling back the layers of an onion. Every discovery leads to another story waiting to be told. The only downside is the parking. The library offers two hours of free covered parking, which sounds generous until you get immersed in research. Time flies when you're digging through historical records, and two hours disappears quickly. If possible, I'd recommend taking the trolley to avoid having to move your car or pay expensive parking fees--especially considering the library is just a short walk from Petco Park. You can also opt to take your car out every 2 hours ans re-park in the garage.... Ijs One thing to keep in mind is that on Padres game days, the library parking garage may close early to accommodate game-day parking. While I understand why they do it, it can be frustrating if you're planning a long research session. Overall, I highly recommend this library. Whether you're researching your family tree, looking for a peaceful place to study, or simply wanting a quiet escape from the city, the ninth floor is an absolute treasure. It's one of San Diego's best-kept secrets, and if you haven't experienced it yet, you're missing out. As always... you can thank me later.

It is so big, with so many different sections. They have an area for young toddlers, to toddlers, to kids. I was so impressed with how much books they have. In addition to that, they have CDs, DVDs, magazines, pretty much anything you can think of. There are a couple of different areas where they can sit and learn. I do love how there were different types of seats as well, for instance, for the younger kids they have the little balanced chairs. There is lots of play area for the kids to have sensory play. They have educational computers, there was four. They have a little area for kids to play with toys and use their imagination, so many good items. There are puzzles, coloring, pages, arts and crafts. I was really blown away with how great this library is. The staff who helped me, I did not get her name, but she was so friendly and answering, and all my questions. They have so many activities also throughout the week, such as reading time and other arts and crafts that you can do amongst other peers. I am so looking forward to bringing my child here so that he can have more socialization with other kids. And mind you, this is all free, which is so amazing. I mean, obviously we have tax dollars that goes toward this. . But yeah, you can check out their schedule for what they offer for the kids. Yeah I think this is the best library so far that I've been to for the kids in San Diego. You can also park underground. Just make sure you take your parking validation upstairs so you do get the first two hours free when validated. After that, I believe it's $1.25 per hour or something like that. Which is very reasonable for downtown. Just remember if there's any events, like the baseball games or anything like that, there might be a surcharge, for example when comic con comes on as well. This is definitely a great learning spot for young children. And if you or someone you know, doesn't have the financial means to do arts and crafts, buy so many books, or have enough space to even how all of these things, this is great that this library has it all for free. I have taken my son to the little play area where we pay like $15 an hour for him to run around and it's further up in Mira Mesa. This is just another great alternative for a fraction of the cost. Sorry I just love this so much. We are definitely coming back here and also exploring as many different libraries as we can.

I also noticed then that the charging rates changed again making peak charges longer. There are surprisingly only 8 charging stations at this location in Las America's Outlet Mall located in the parking lot area directly across the street from Popeye's, Subway and T Mobile in the area situated between Bank of America and Achiote Restaurant, Nautica Kids, Columbia and Samsonite Stores. It is open 24 hours a day however, after the mall closes, entrance seems to be chained forcing you to drive thru the exit lane to charge. The charging stations are not labeled 1A-1H so if there is a problem with any of the chargers, it would be difficult to communicate & identify the particular station having an issue when being navigated to charge here. 6 of the charging stations are clumped very close together having patrons charge back to back with little space. The other two are separated with one handicap designated space directed across the street from Popeye's by the main Tesla white control box housing where the phone number is located to address issues however, it would be difficult to spot and see in the evening when dark. The number to call for any issues pertaining to these chargers is 1-877-798-3752. I hope they put in more charging stations at this location similar to Friars as time goes on. The rates here are $.27/kWh from 10pm-8am and doubles to $.54 from 8am-10pm. Overall, it's a GREAT place to charge close to US/Mexico Border surrounded by many shops and eateries to entertain you during your chargIng time!

Absolutely Wonderful Anniversary Getaway at the Hotel del Coronado…read more My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a beautiful weekend stay at the iconic Hotel del Coronado in a King Room with an Oceanview Balcony. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special. The two young ladies who checked us in were an absolute delight. They looked like sisters but are actually best friends, and their genuine warmth and kindness made the start of our stay so memorable. The concierge was equally fantastic, ensuring our bags were delivered quickly and that we were comfortably settled in our room. The property itself is breathtaking...! The meticulously maintained gardens and stunning California coastal location provided the perfect romantic setting. We enjoyed outstanding fine dining experiences at both Nobu del Coronado and Seréa. What truly touched us was returning to our room to find a thoughtful happy anniversary card and a small box of delicious chocolates from the front desk team. It was such a sweet and personal touch. We were genuinely sad to leave and will absolutely be returning. Thank you to the entire team at the Hotel del Coronado for making our anniversary weekend so special!

It's so iconic and every Coronado trip over 30yrs I have wanted to stay here and this was the year we get to. So yes I expected a lot. And we have stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels all across the nation and yes even other Hilton properties and we just drove up from Anaheim where we were spoiled by JW Marriott Anaheim where they treated us all too well. So yes being Hilton Honors members we expected more. Here is why I can't give them a 3 which I hate because I rarely give that low for a hotel. Maybe this one is a 2.5. It should have been a 5 but here is why it failed us during this stay Cons- gave us a wrong room after checking in. I had to embarrass myself trying to unlock a random strangers room. Heard them behind the doors wondering why some strange lady was trying to go into their room. This is an easily avoidable mistake and one we did not expect for such a beautiful place -I left my older kids on that floor with our luggage to head back to check in way from the Views and got back in line to tell them what happened. They said sorry but wasn't overly concerned. Nothing was compensated for their mistake just sort of brushed it off (does this happen often) I tried to laugh it off but it was quite embarrassing the whole ordeal -got the right room keys and went into our room and to our dismay it wasn't what we reserved for. We requested an ocean view in the Views and was verified we would get that BUT instead we got no view only one of the corridor lol and again nothing they can do about it -told this to receptionist and again nothing they can do a -not worth the $1000/night for July 4th week -carpet was sandy before we got in there -room a bit outdated even if this is the renovated room -this was not the reason I rated it low but unfortunately it's also the time when the waters have bacteria because of the Tijuana sewer spill so we were warned not to go swimming on the beach -valet parking for $80 is quite steep -self park for $60 is quite steep -no one seemed apologetic that the room mishap happened at all (does this happen often?) -really arrogant and nonchalant customer service -did not treat customers equally or kindly at all (I get you are a popular hotel esp July 4th week but some training would be good to ensure all guests are appreciated and felt welcomed) Pros-beautiful property -yummy breakfast pastries -strong shower head -tt manager and told him of all that went on and he reluctantly but graciously said he would give us back half our Hilton Honors points of 55k (hopefully he does) -pool and work out room was nice
