The first time we visited this Tesla Supercharger location the navigation took us in some crazy circle around the airport. Just another reason I wish WAZE was the primary navigation app instead of Google Maps. Once inside the parking lot and charging take a little walk into the terminal to use the restroom, grab a bite to eat if you want or my husbands favorite, Leopolds Ice Cream if it's open. We opted to bring food for dinner from one of our favorite places(Zunzi's)and sit inside the terminal to eat while we charged. There are lots of tables, benches and rocking chairs to choose from. It was pretty pleasant. I only wish it weren't so far off the freeway. But, it's worth the detour if you need to charge. read more

It's in an odd location. I always feel weird going to an airport without business there. You have to enter a parking garage but apparently you can get your ticket validated. The info desk was closed so we couldn't. Parking we learned is free for three hours for charging, so no issues. Starbucks and the restaurant are closed because of Covid. The atrium area is lovely. Bring food if you want to eat and walk towards the terminal to find it. Do not have to go through security or anything. read more

YALL ITS IN AN AIRPORT imagine the sheer FEAR I had on my face when I rolled in and had to grab a damn ticket to charge my car. I didn't even bother charge it as long as I wanted to. Oh ye, and I had to pay $1 to get out of the lot. read more

Y'all this is insane!!! You have to enter into airport parking to charge. And then you have to pay depending on how long you stay. I cut my charging short because I wasn't sure about the cost of parking. It was also super confusing to find- the Tesla navigation doesn't send you the right way so use Waze instead. Probably won't be bringing my Tesla back down to Savannah from ATL since there's no superchargers in the historic district and this one is 20 minutes out of the way. read more

So this isn't the most convenient Super Charger location, being located off the highway a bit in the Savannah airport, but it worked out well for me. I had to walk into the airport help desk to get my parking ticket validated, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing, because I needed to stretch my legs after 2 hours in the car, so I made the 4-5 minute walk into the airport and hung out in there while waiting for the car to charge and got a cup of Starbucks while I was at it. I had to show them my Tesla App in order to gain parking ticket validation, so don't forget to bring your phone or your key card. There were only 2 other cars charging up when I got here. Definitely be careful parking in these spots because they seem to be a little more narrow than other Supercharger stations I've been to. read more

This place is SO inconvenient! The parking is free for three hours which is great, just write your name and number on the ticket. Inside there is a USO which is amazing located upstairs next to the restrooms. There is also a poorly staffed brewery upstairs and an over priced Starbucks but hey it's an airport. Recently a new Tesla owner so learning my ropes of supercharger. Few tips, first 3 hrs are free if you exit a booth with an attendant. Most stores are closed at 7 but few times we went it wasnt busy. Slightly confusing to get in, get in hourly lot and go toward the exit, when you reach the second set of divers turn right then a left. once you finishing charging quit easy to get out. read more

A little far off the highway, but easy to pass the time at this stop. The chargers are awkwardly placed and tough to get in to, so watch your wheels are you pull in. There are 6 of them and they are in the North lot of the economy parking lot. Be sure to take your parking ticket inside to the information booth (ground level of the airport) to get it validated so you don't have to pay for parking. Have your key (or the phone app) with you or they won't validate it. There are a few restaurants inside but they are closed most of the time. Walk across the street to the roof of the adjacent parking garage and watch the planes take off and land! There is also a cool courtyard area with a large fountain and plenty of benches....perfect spot to sit and read while you wait. read more
