They gave me the option to buy one at a local auto parts store and gave me the location of one 15 minutes away. The oil filter was $18. When I went to pay my oil change was only discounted $1.77 which is their cost. I get the price I paid was higher, but they should have at least discounted me $7-$8 which is their retail cost. Just from a customer satisfaction standpoint, the discount should have been more as compensation for their supply chain issue and me having to spend 40 minutes to get the part. I'm sure more than $1.77 is built into the bundled price for the oil change.

After leaving the shop, I stopped at a car wash where their entry photos show the antenna was already missing. I contacted the shop to try to resolve the issue, but was told their security footage does not go back far enough and they declined responsibility.
