She seemed knowledgeable about my surgery and what would be required to prepare for it and to recover from it. So I am looking forward to the aqua therapy and the post surgery therapy and hope that I can move on with my life and get back to being able to walk again with their help

He commonly shows ways to advance or simplify a beneficial movement with environmental " tools" accessed around your house, gym or workplace. On my last visit he referred to an open door jam as a balance aid in addition to an exercise band & positional changes for advancement work in the future. His patience & listening skills are a rare trait in todays world that are appreciated when you're heading down the path to an efficient recovery. I personally followed him from a previous office to his current Providence location & I'd recommend you do the same.

Zach took what could've been a two-year recovery down to a number of months. Patient and personable, he gave me effective exercises to do both in session and at home, and his deep tissue massage was targeted and broke up the scar tissue. I went in with something…read morecalled "runners' knee", which basically meant that my knee was killing me, and my quads and hamstrings were incredibly weak. When I first got there, I was having trouble walking up stairs without pain. By the time I left, my legs were much stronger and the pain in my knee had subsided considerably. They also sent me out into the world with the knowledge of how to continue getting better and a repertoire of exercises to go along with that. I never once dreaded going there, and even came to look forward to it even though it was hard work. This was due to the staff and the positive environment that they have created over there. Good people who do great work. Print it.

I…read morehad therapy years ago with great success for a knee injury, however was instructed by my ortho to visit a PT nearest me. This was a big mistake and an awakening. I went to Excel for 2 visits and I was very disappointed. The initial visit was an assessment, which is fair enough. The second visit was incredibly disappointing. I did a few leg lifts and a couple of stretches and then handed over my hard earned money with a list of more appointments. After sitting with that for a day, I cancelled all of those appointments and hired a personal trainer for about half the cost of what I was paying to be instructed to do a few leg lifts and a few stretches. Luckily my injury is a minor sports injury so this option just made sense. If i truly need PT in the future, i will be looking for serious reccommendations before parting with my $$$.

A therapist with glasses come over to talk to her she was so rude to her it was unbelievable then had the audacity to talk about her once she walked away. I've never seen someone so rude in a medical setting it's unbelievable and the way she was swearing ridiculous. My friend said she'll never go back to a papas knowing she works with the company. Might need to have her do some training on how to be towards patients and employees what she says and does is not ok.

I sprained my ankle for the first time in my life last October and my orthopedist recommended…read morephysical therapy. After doing research, I found Elite Physical Therapy. There are two locations in Providence. My experience was with the 285 Governor St location. There is a huge parking lot and is easy to navigate to when there is no construction. A few times, there was construction and Governor street was blocked so I had to go around it. It was easy to make an appointment. I first came for a consult and then made a plan with Shemaiah on how I can improve. The appointments were scheduled for a few months at a time. After the sessions, I definitely felt my progress improving. Shemaiah is personable and really friendly. She wants to see you improve and will work with you to obtain your goals. Their billing is done by a third party and after calling Elite Physical Therapy and their billing office multiple times, I finally got my patient refund after 4 months of waiting. I am not sure why it took them so long to process the refund and when I asked, they had no answer. Other than the patient refund issue, the space is clean and spacious. After a few months of therapy, my ankle was a lot better and I was able to walk normally.
