We love testa rossa and always enjoy their atmosphere and menu. We recently came for our anniversary and weren't disappointed! We had their lovely bread service and I go an espresso martini. It's not the greatest but it gets the job done. My husband ordered the chicken picatta and I ordered the crab pasta. We had a great meal and will definitely be back.

The perfect spot for a cozy winter meal. When I'm craving Italian, this is my go to spot. It's really about the ambiance in here, especially when they have a jazz band playing. This is a spot where you just want to sink in your chair and stay for hours. The pasta is always cooked right and I like the variety of proteins in their dishes. Stop in on a snowy winter night for peak coziness!

We had such a nice evening at Testa Rossa. The ambience was lively but laid back and relaxing. Service was very friendly and prompt. The complimentary bread and olive oil was delicious. They had quite a few N/A drink options which I always appreciate. My husband loved his spaghettios and my chicken scapollini was amazing. Portions were a good size and left us feeling very full. Overall great experience. We'd love to go back and catch some music next time!

I've ordered takeout pizza from here a few times and it is always great. They always have the pizza ready on time and the staff is very friendly. We usually get the testa rossa pizza but I've seen some of their other ones and they all look just as good.

Everything was great! We went on a Tuesday night, no reservation needed and service was fast. The inside is very cute and classy. We got the Vodka Rigatoni Buratta, both meatballs and chicken were delicious. My friend got the scallopini and that was amazing, that will be my next order! Drinks were okay, I liked the wine sangria over the spritz. I'd go with wine next time.

The beginning of our visit here was a bit rough - only because we got waters and menus, and proceeded to be unattended to for 15+ minutes. We had to ask someone to get our waitress, because it was like they had gone MIA. After our server came back, they were very attentive, especially for it being a slower night. The food came out fairly quickly after we placed our orders, and the shrimp scampi that I got was absolutely delicious. I got it extra spicy, and if you like spice and seafood, you would DIG that. The spice was no joke, but it was flavorful and very good. Throughout the first half of dinner, there was a live musician playing the accordion and he was very talented. The lighting was nice, not too dim but bright enough with all of the lamps. I would go back here again, probably sometime this fall (and might get the same exact thing.)

One of our date night favorite spots. Everything is always delicious and always leave with our bellies so full and leftover. The whipped ricotta appetizer is a personal favorite and honestly any pasta. The manicotti, farfalle festival, and the sausage farfalle are all so yummy. Do not skip their homemade desserts. We enjoy Mike that plays live music on Wednesdays!

Food was amazing! Would highly recommend the caprese salad as well as the Vodka Burrata Pasta. Service was great. Definitely will be going back.

This is one of the best pasta places I've been to! It's a classy ambiance with a lot of space for group seating. Our server was helpful when we had questions about the menu and attended to our needs. There's a wide variety of options including pasta, salads, sandwiches, appetizers and pizzas. I would book ahead as it fills up fast!

We've gotten plenty of takeout from Quarantino's over the years, but only recently stopped by to dine in. We were greeted right away and got to choose a nice booth by the window. The menu is concise and features their delicious Detroit style pizza. I was starving so we ended up ordering quite a bit to have leftovers - the kale Caesar salad, one of the weekly feature pizzas, and the Quarantino's deluxe. The salad is one of my favorites - it's made with curly kale and topped with crunchy kettle potato chips. It's always good and makes for great leftovers because it's so hearty. Our pizzas came out shortly after our salad was finished and they were delicious. Their crust is perfection - fluffy but chewy and crispy in the right places. I personally love their red sauce the most because it's savory, and not overly sweet. The toppings on the deluxe were plentiful and high quality. The special pizza rotates weekly(ish) and this one had 'nduja, ramp aioli, and shredded potato. Plus lots of cheese. Their specials are always inventive and sound so tasty. Our server was super fun and awesome to chat with. I really liked him, he brought such a big smile to my face. I am so glad we finally got to have the dine in experience at Quarantino's and we'll be back for their mid-week pizza, pasta, salad deal!

The place was packed full of people (a sign of a great restaurant) and while I sat and waited over fifteen minutes past my pickup time, I watched people come in, be told it will be a few minutes and then their receipt/order gets pulled and then taken to the back, like mine was. Almost as if they don't bother making the pizza until you show up? Anyway, we picked up our pizza and bread and headed out. I was surprised at the small box that contained both the pizza AND the bread; I got into the car and opened it and laughed. The pizza was small, the bread was small. I was surprised at how little food there was. Oh well! Lesson learned. We took it back to our hotel and fed the kids. The pizza looked delicious, but was just ok. The cheese bread looked amazing - and then I bit into it. Dill. Why is there dill on the cheese bread? Overall, it was an experience. Nothing terrible, nothing great. Note: finding parking for carry out is a challenge.

Nate and I have had their food twice now - once was a complimentary pizza order during their soft opening period, and we just ordered delivery over a lazy holiday weekend. We got the supreme pizza and cheesy bread on our most recent order, and have also tried the caprese salad and rustica pizza. The menu includes lots of options beyond pizza - appetizers, subs, wraps, salads, pasta, stromboli, and dessert! They have vegan cheese and cauliflower crust options too. Online ordering is quick and easy through the Franca's Pizzeria website, and I like that they use their own delivery drivers. The charge for delivery was only $4 which isn't bad, especially considering all the upcharges for third-party delivery services these days. I ordered ahead for a later time and it arrived a few minutes early. All the food was hot and fresh. The supreme pizza has ham, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, and onion. The hand tossed crust is a medium thickness, but they also have thick crust as an option. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, and I loved the sausage. The sauce is not overly sweet, so it gets a thumbs up from me. The cheesy bread is really good! It's not super tough or crunchy, I like that it's pillowy in the middle. You can get extra cheese, but I thought the regular amount was plenty. We also loved the caprese salad - it was super fresh, with a nice amount of fresh mozzarella and dressed nicely. It was nice to have a bit of a healthy side to go with our tasty pizza. Franca's rates slightly above Peppino's for me (my other favorite local pizza spot), mostly due to their unique toppings and specialty pizza combinations. I'm super intrigued by the campagnola: margherita sauce, caramelized mushrooms and onions, sausage, bleu cheese, tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella. If you're in the area and need a takeout pizza, check out Franca's.

The Foolery came up on Yelp and figured we could not go wrong with pizza to feed our starving children. They have a great selection of Detroit style pizzas here. We didn't feel like being adventurous so went with the pepperoni. I've always loved Detroit style pizzas due to the thicker crust that's crispy on the sides and The Foolery passed the assignment. Pizza was really good! And as a Chicagoan, that means a lot! The size of the pizza is a little small - but you get 6 slices so if you're hungry or got a big group to feed, I would plan accordingly. Remember Detroit style is a rectangle pie, not circular like a standard whole pizza. We got the Elote dip as an appetizer and it was a clever take on one of my favorite Mexican snacks. It came with elote corn and chips on the side. Like I said, clever and not bad! Our server that day was awesome. We had a group of about 13 people and they just had small pub tables that fit 4 people each. But no problem because he was willing to organize the whole front room and put 4 of those tables side by side to accommodate all of us. He did it happily and without complaints. Our food did take some time to come out, but that's ok. I was amongst great company and had a good drink in hand, we were out of town and all was good. I would come here again.

We could not hear each other at all, even almost yelling, so we really couldn't talk. If you're going to eat and vibe, might be the place for you but to go eat, it was a bit extreme. Also they have "$3 beers" after 9 and it was just PBR. All others were regular price. Marketing was a bit misleading there.
