Food is amazing, drinks are OK, but the food artistry has slacked over the last couple years. Toppings are not quite as balanced across pizzas, which can affect the flavor of each bite. The drizzle/aioli's are not as beautifully applied. All this said, it is still delicious food. One more item, would be to have a bartender that makes the mixed drinks and can keep up with demand. When the servers have to mix the drinks, drink service can get very very slow. read more

I love the entrance. It looks like a giant wine barrel. There are 2 sets of doors. To the left the pizzeria and to the right the winery tasting room. The atmosphere here is laid back and approachable. It has an open kitchen so you get to see your food made. All the pre named pizzas are $19. There were at least 5 pizzas I wanted to try. I narrowed it down and got 2 of them. I got the Bayou pizza which has garlic butter, pizza sauce, house mozzarella & provolone with cajun-tossed Italian sausage, scallops, shrimp, and real lobster. The 2nd pizza was the Molto Carne which has pizza sauce, house mozzarella & provolone, ham, pepperoni, soppressata and Italian sausage. I loved the crust on them. Definitely on of the better ones. The Bayou was good. There was a little bit of the sea taste of course. I don't think I'd get this again, but it was fun. The Molto Carne, or their version of a meat lovers was delicious. Definitely my preferred pizza. All the meats seemed high quality. I really liked the pizza sauce too. The pizzas came out quickly. The service was very friendly and efficient. Overall a 5 star review. Excellent crust, a very good pizza sauce, excellent quality meats, and very good cheese. Everything you want at a pizza place. Would I return? Absolutely. Tried for the first time this weekend even though it's sort of in our backyard . The server was kind and friendly but she was doubling as the bartender and couldn't make basic drinks , The old fashioned was over sugared and she couldn't make a basic cosmo . The spinach dip was good and the garlic knots , the pizza wood fired which is a nice touch but they are mediocre at best . We were told that the owners have sold and it will be rebranded later this summer so maybe some of the issues are due to the transition... we will give it one more shot in the future after the sale is complete read more

I've never actually been here LOL but I accidentally placed an online order for this restaurant instead of one by a similar name in my area. I called to cancel and their customer service was amazing! They refunded my order, and were very understanding about the whole situation. And I'm sure their pizza rocks! One day I hope to come try it! read more

This place is genius. It's right next to the winery and you can get their food and take it over to the winery. We had prime rib sliders with a house salad. The balsamic dressing so delicious. Finally made it back to Flo's recently for a special St. Paddy's day trivia event. Nate and I arrived a bit early and got a table and ordered some special green drinks - a fruity/tropical drink and a green wine. They were both pretty sweet and not something I'd order regularly, but fun for the holiday. We started with the bruschetta pomodori which is their take on a traditional tomato bruschetta. It was so delicious! I remembered reading rave reviews of it here on Yelp so I'm glad we got it. It came out on a board with six pieces of crostini totally smothered in tons of shaved parmesan, juicy tomatoes, soft mozzarella, and drizzled with balsamic glaze. I loved that the bread was soft and not super crispy. It was the perfect balance of flavors and I'd definitely get it again. For my dinner I chose the bayou pizza, because it sounded so interesting: garlic butter, tomato sauce, mozzarella and provolone, cajun tossed Italian sausage, crab, scallops, and shrimp. Whoa. They have one section of traditional pizza and one section of nontraditional. All the pizzas sounded so delicious. Nate got the Italian piadine, which was like a flatbread sandwich. The food came out pretty quickly. Our server was quite busy so she disappeared for a bit but we were okay. The pizza was really tasty but very salty. The shrimp were tiny, as were the scallops, but I could actually see all the seafood that was listed on the menu. The crust was nicely done and not too soggy even with all the toppings. I'm really glad I tried this pizza since it was so unique. I had a bite of the piadine, which was tasty but I thought the bread was a bit too thick and the outside was covered in maybe garlic butter? So it was good, but pretty messy. Overall I'm glad we got to check out Flo's again. It's pretty far out of the way for us but I would stop in again if on our way to or from Greenville. read more

I'm not in this area very often but I heard Flo's was a really good Italian spot. It wasn't very busy when we went around noon on Saturday, and we were seated almost right away. The service was awesome and the waiters were so kind and helpful. Our appetizers (Bruschetta and Piatto Misto) were both amazing. For my meal I ordered a Pizza D'Italia and it was wonderful, with a mix of sweet and savory flavors. Flo's is right next to St. Julian's Winery so there are many wine options to try. read more

From the roasted garlic cloves, to the mozz balls, and that amazing special balsamic glaze that they make, it creates a special kind of masterpiece that everyone should experience! We go here a lot when I'm in town bc they have vegan cheese and options for those that can't have dairy. They finally changed their menu so you can read it that's a plus. Wish they would get better quality liquor. Never have to wait long for food and it's never bad. I think with the weird hours it's hard to keep good staff. What a grand dinner! Tonight was our first visit to this nearby restaurant and we were very delightfully surprised by the wine and the food. This is not your usual pizza joint! We had Flo's award-winning pizza after enjoying a very substantial and delicious charcuterie board of meats, cheese, olives, fig preserves and bruschetta. The appetizer was great - the prosciutto pizza was out of this world. Fresh meat and arugula, figs, pearls of balsamic vinegar. Wow, wow and wow. Served piping hot out of the wood fired oven, it was well complimented by a generous pour of the Cock of the Rock red wine. The restaurant shares the space with St Julian winery and its popular tasting room. We're going back soon to to try more wines and planning more trips for pizza as well. On a whim, we decided to try this place out last night. Be warned this is not your typical quick, cheap, stuff the family full pizzeria. Featured ingredients like artichoke, sun-dried tomatoes and pancetta set this place apart from the local competition. The prices are a bit higher to reflect that but not exorbitantly so. This is date night, high-quality ingredients, wood-fired, sit down, and savor it cuisine. The pizza was delicious with just the right level of char around the edges and was plenty large enough for two. The service was prompt and attentive, never leaving a glass sitting empty. The decor is clean and modern with a large window overlooking the winery next door on one side and a beautiful view into the preparation area and pizza oven on the other. The food here is generally pretty good. I used to really love their sliders but not so good anymore. Last time I was there I ordered the ham and cheese sliders. TLDR; Flo's Wood Fired Pizzeria has a "No alterations" policy that they don't post or tell you about until you're ready to order. One of the members of our dining party had a food allergy to fungi. Most, if not all their pizzas had mushrooms or Gorgonzola, which they would not have been able to eat. Before heading out we checked what their policies were, they were listed as "No substitutions or 1/2 toppings on specialty pizzas." After we ordered drinks we found what they really meant was "No alterations". Had we known this we would not have gone as the pizza we were there to try, the Pizza D'italia, could not be approximated with the build your own pizza option and even if it could have been it would have cost substantially more. read more
