Choosing a daycare is incredibly hard, especially after a bad experience. I came to Testey's Childcare feeling extremely anxious because of a really horrible experience we had at a prior facility. However, from day one, Ms. Testey and her amazing crew completely changed everything for us. They were so kind, reassuring, and completely put my mind at ease with their warm, loving, and deeply attentive care. The environment itself is extremely large and clean, and I love that they maintain a very small 1-to-3 caregiver-to-toddler ratio. It is a true Montessori environment, and Miss Testey even brings in an outside specialist to teach the children Montessori principles. They also prioritize health and outdoor play; she always takes them outside and ensures they wear sunscreen beforehand. She also encourages that the children wash their hands often. In fact, my daughter has been there for a month already and hasn't been sick once! The transition was so easy for her, and she was fully settled in after only a week! This was because Ms Testey ensured that my daughter was provided love, attention, and support during this transition as this was the first time she had ever attended daycare. The staff always makes sure she finishes her food, eats all of her snacks, and always gets her naps in. I also love that she is always completely clean whenever I pick her up. Communication is amazing because they use the Lillio app, which constantly updates me on her water/food intake, bowel habits, and also sends photos and videos throughout the day. I cannot thank Miss Testey and the staff enough for loving my daughter and giving me complete peace of mind. I wanted to leave an updated review because we came back to Testey when we had our second baby. We looked at each other and knew the choice was obvious of who to trust our tiny newborn with. Testey is fantastic. She is trustworthy and loving with children. We had both of our girls at her daycare for years (from the age of 3 months old) and she taught them so much including potty training, hand washing, putting on their own shoes and gloves and cleaning up after themselves. It's very high quality care. Testey recently started doing Montessori curriculum and renovated the daycare space and bathroom to be more kid accessible. Her daycare is so clean and the kids keep shoes off indoors to minimize germs. I would ask her for all kinds of parenting advice - she is very experienced having 5 kids and coming from a large family. My husband and I agree, there is no one who we would've trusted more or wanted to care for our kids. You know your child is happy and comfortable when they ask when they are going back to daycare and tell you they can't wait to show Testey their latest accomplishment at home. We only recently transitioned our 4 year old to a big preschool and we miss her so much - it was really hard to leave and imagining anyone would care as much for our little girl as she has. I trust few people with my children, I'm very protective but Testey is like family. read more

I thought it would be appropriate to give an update on Testey's childcare! My 13 month old son has been with Testey and her team since he was 3 months old. I truly can't even imagine sending my son anywhere else. The care my son receives is phenomenal. I love to brag to everyone about how blessed we are to have found the best daycare in our area. My son has been thriving under Testey's care. If you get to know Testey you'll see how much she loves and cares for her little ones. Let me get started on a few things that I have noticed about Testey's childcare that really stands out and make her the best. 1. Every-time I pick my child he is ALWAYS clean. If he ever gets messy she changes him and i believe she even rinses his clothes!! 2. If she ever notices a bruise or scratch she immediately notifies me. 3. Whenever I reach out she is easy to get ahold of even outside of her open hours. 4. I get updates throughout the day on an app. 5. Her center is SO clean and organized!! Her center is not overstimulating and there is a ton of space for my little one to explore!My 13 month old seems to be advancing at Testey's center very well and I think the day it's time for him to go to kindergarten I will cry because I don't know how I could trust anyone else to watch him but Testey and her team. My husband and I are so appreciative of Testey's child care services. Our son started with her in July 2022 after attending a different daycare the previous 4 to 5 months. We decided to make a switch to Testey's Wonderful Child Care because we were unhappy with the services our child was recieving at his previous facility. We are so thankful we made the switch and our minds are completely at ease every morning we drop him off. Testey genuinely cares for our son and for the rest of the children. He is very happy at drop off and pick up, and is well taken care of. She is very attentive to the details and is perceptive of our child's needs. Her facility is extremely clean, age appropriate, spacious, and welcoming. She is patient, kind, and playful with our son and the other children. Testey has cared for our daughter from 3 months old to 3 years old, and we have had an exceptional experience. She has been very loving and nurturing to our daughter, as well as communicative with us. She facilitates healthy routines and habits, and preserves a calm and very clean environment. Testey takes pride in the fact that the children under her care rarely get sick, which is a major point of appreciation on our part. She also changes it up with fun activities for the kids and has a nice outdoor play area for the kids to enjoy running, climbing, sliding, and water play in the warmer months. Our daughter is very fond of Ms. Testey (as are we) and the friends she has made here. We've had our 21-month-old son with Ms. Testey for two months now, and we have nothing but great things to say about her daycare. From the very beginning, Ms. Testey provided regular check-ins and sent us photos, which really put our minds at ease. She is incredibly transparent, loving, and has a fantastic staff who are equally engaging with the children. One of the aspects we appreciate the most is the lesson plan she provides each week.
