Mrs. Mirza has watched and cared for my almost 12 year old twins since they were 6 weeks old. She still cares for our two youngest children. Most significantly, she saved the life of my youngest daughter, Maeve, by astutely identifying that she had jaundice at eight weeks old--something that her pediatrician and nurse missed during all of her follow up visits. Something that I missed. Due to my trust of Mrs. Mirza, I brought it up to Maeve's pediatrician who decided to send her for lab testing. A day later, Maeve was admitted to Inova Children's Hospital where she went on to have emergency surgery to save her liver. Because her illness was caught early, the surgery was a success. Whenever an incident happened at the daycare with one of our kids they lied and changed the story multiple times leaving out important information pertaining to the incident. Something seriously needs to be done about this. They take no accountability for any of their actions.
