On the day of our wedding, Kim was not only an incredible communicator and so prompt, but flawlessly wrangled the 12 members of our bridal party and the two of us getting married into some truly amazing shots. Her ability to give direction in such a clear way makes everything so much easier and taking photos before our wedding truly flew by. To us, it is the *most* important thing you can spend money on for a wedding. Period. We had actually chosen a photographer (slightly out of our budget) hailing from Bellingham, but she had to cancel on us because she found out she was pregnant. We were crushed, but then... we found Laurel. :) Her website is fantastic, but she absolutely won me over with her personality! By our third email, I felt like we were old friends. When we met her in person, we just knew she was going to "get" us. She specializes in photojournalistic photography, which, in my opinion, is the only way to go for weddings. Just look at her site.
