Once I realized that I was losing my hearing, I had contacted various ENT specialists and was given every test known to mankind. I was told a certain brand and type were the ones I needed. However, this did not solve my hearing problems at all. It seems that there was always some type problem with the hearing aids, loose wires, just not working, therefore, having to go back to the manufacturer. And the big problem was that I was just not hearing all that well. I have to say I constantly complained even though normally I am not that type person at all. But when you pay these exorbitant prices, and still cannot hear properly, then I expect to be helped. However, nothing really changed. Unfortunately, I just became totally frustrated and had no idea what to do. So I just struggled along, still unable to hear very well, and found myself constantly repeating to others and asking them to repeat themselves. It was not only frustrating to me, but my loved ones as well. Forget going to a restaurant or grocery store. Music sounded distorted as well. Well, finally, I had enough. I began to search for someone that maybe could be more helpful so I started a study into this. I came across the name of Lorin Gregory audiologist and read about his hearing impairment and that he too wore hearing aids. So after reading more about his practice, I decided to contact him and book an appointment with him. It turned out to be the best decision I had ever made regarding my hearing. So Lorin opened a whole different world for me as I went thru hearing tests, and tested out different hearing aids. I became educated about hearing loss and was supplied with hearing aids that actually worked for me. It was like a miracle because I could actually hear again. So I was able to wear these and find out about different environments and educated about apps that would work in different areas such as outside, restaurants, music, etc. And best of all, Lorin continues to work with you after the sale, and no matter what you need, he is always available to help you. He explains everything in detail and lets you ask questions as well. He is so thorough, I was very impressed by his patience and knowledge about hearing in general. He will give you his complete attention and you are no rushed at all. You stay until you are satisified with your hearing aids. Thank you Dr. Heather! ! ! FastAid you could have gotten 5 Stars, why I didn't give it was because apparently your sites don't have access to your server on weekends. Checking your insurance only happens Monday to Friday. Not good, I'm paying for a service not knowing if I'm covered. The second reason was that a group your size should have Point of Care lab instruments that are CLIA Waived onsite. PCR results are available within minutes and during an office visit. Check out your competition, I.e. TexasMed Urgent Care. They do, and were able to tell me my insurance wasn't covered by them anymore. I asked can you suggest anyone else, lucky for you they mentioned FastAid. Let's get some POC Confirmatory testing in office and I'll amend my review adding that 5th Star!!

His approach to her concerns was non-intimidating which made the visit very successful for us. The comprehensive testing allowed my dad to be involved - which was extremely important since he communicates with her constantly. With this direct input, Anthony was able to accurately fit her with instruments that best met her needs. All the while, Anthony also offered educational information pertaining to the differences between hearing and understanding. Lastly, the ease of scheduling follow-ups has allowed for continued success with the instruments. The worst front desk customer service…read more This was after I had already gone to the Kyle location for walk-in X-rays and was told their tech was out. That part I completely understand--life happens. What I didn't appreciate was being told that I should have called ahead to check whether they were doing walk-ins. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of offering walk-in X-rays, especially when the website says they are available? I called this location before making the additional drive and confirmed they were accepting walk-ins. When I arrived, the front desk person simply nodded at me. It wasn't clear whether she was acknowledging me or telling me to come forward, so I asked if she wanted me to move forward. She just nodded again. There was no greeting, no verbal direction, and no attempt to make the interaction welcoming or even clear. Her demeanor gave me the distinct impression that she simply did not care about the person standing in front of her. Customer service matters everywhere, but it especially matters in healthcare. Patients may already be anxious about why they need imaging in the first place. Basic courtesy and clear communication should not be too much to expect. I would not return to this location. Update: I do want to add that once I was taken back for my X-rays, the imaging experience was wonderful. Daisy, who performed my imaging was kind, professional, and made that portion of the visit a very positive experience. Unfortunately, that does not change my assessment of the front-desk customer service, which was extremely poor and is the reason I would not return to this location.
