I'll address both office visits and surgery…read more The parking for any service you need is ample for anyone that needs to visit a doctor for whatever reason. I've found my appointments to be timely and I'm never waiting for long to see my doctor. The nurses are quick to get vitals and are completely professional. I'm generally in and out within 30 mins or so. When I meet with the doctors, they've actually reviewed my chart so there isn't much of a recap that's needed. For surgery I found the whole ordeal to be simple and devoid of stress. The one caveat I'll mention is if you're going in for a procedure, they require a friend to pick you up. This was a small problem for me as I was anticipating getting an uber home. However their policies, justified imo, are someone needs to sign out the patient and give them a ride home. So please take that into account if you have a surgery. The day of the surgery was smooth sailing. The front desk reports you to the right floor and the nurses are quick to meet you and prepare you for surgery. After scrubbing down and getting into my robe, I had a small wait as I talked with the nurses, operating doctor, anesthesiologist and finally to make sure payment via card and/or insurance is correct. The patient is asked several times what they're having done to ensure the patient consents to the upcoming procedure. I'm not good with surgery as it drives up anxiety. I was administered preop medicine to prepare my body and reduce stress. Once they got my IV flowing my concerns were diminished and I was out before the ride to the operating room. My surgery was a success and was almost to the minute that the doctor quoted me for surgery. I woke up in minimal pain but it took time to regain my senses. The nurses were right there taking care of me. Quick to address pain, give a status update and make sure I was comfortable. The next day I was in pain in my neck so I called the nurse. She reassured me it was part of the operation procedures and my medication address the pain as best it could. Overall my surgery was a breath of fresh air with no complications. All the staff was professional and prepared for my every need. I highly suggest using this facility if they offer the services you may need. I highly recommend this facility.

I had a very disappointing experience at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center's Emergency Room. My…read moredaughter was crying in severe pain from what appeared to be a migraine or severe headache, and before deciding whether to check her in, I simply wanted to ask if the hospital had the appropriate equipment and specialists to treat her condition. If not, I was prepared to take her elsewhere. Unfortunately, the receptionist, Jessica, was on her phone when I approached. When I asked my questions, she was rude, dismissive, and spoke in a condescending tone. Rather than showing empathy or helping us understand our options, she responded, "This is an emergency room hospital," in a way that made it clear she didn't want to be bothered. As a parent with a child in tears and obvious pain, compassion and professionalism matter. Instead, I left feeling like my daughter would not receive the care or attention she needed. Because of that interaction alone, I made the decision to drive 40 minutes from Kyle to Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin. The difference in care was night and day. From the moment we arrived at Dell Children's, the staff was compassionate, attentive, and made us feel like my daughter's well-being truly mattered. I understand working in an emergency department is stressful, but there is never an excuse for treating worried parents and children with such a lack of empathy. First impressions matter, especially in healthcare. I sincerely hope Baylor Scott & White addresses this, because no family should feel discouraged from seeking care due to the attitude of the person greeting them.

The ONLY bad thing I have to say is she took a trip when my baby was due and couldn't deliver him. How dare her go on vacation!! KIDDING!! I was a little nervous but I'd been thru this with my first and it was no biggie so I didn't worry toooo much. Ended up scheduling induction (2 days late) and baby decided he was coming the next day before scheduled haha! Still had a great Dr deliver me and I can't remember his name right now! (Jamie Zachrison, super nice guy!) I made his job easy, 1 push lol Great office in general! This was circa fall 2017-April 2018.

After doing some online research, I chose to go to Dr. Goss and I am SO glad that I did! Her warmth, empathy, knowledge and confidence never wavered throughout my pregnancy. At 37 weeks, I developed gestational hypertension and had to be induced. Two times during labor, my blood pressure sky rocketed and my baby's heart beat plummeted. Both times, Dr. Goss and the staff at Seton Hospital in Kyle sprang into calm and extremely competent action. A surgeon was called in to do an emergency c-section both times and, thankfully, both times the surgeon was sent off empty handed. I simply can not recommend any ob/gyn more than Dr. Goss. She has earned my loyalty as well as my sincerely heartfelt gratitude.

If you can avoid this Hospital you should the emergency room is a joke. The nurses and other people…read moreinto the doctor are real nasty. You'd think people that worked in a hospital setting would be used to patients coming into the emergency room in pain???!!! I was actually shushed ,multiple times.!!!!! I presented there with what ended up being a pretty rare in fact of the rarest nerve disease. And it is so painful that people die from it because they refuse to eat. So this was my first experience with this pain and of course I went straight to the ER. They did tell me I didn't have an ear infection ,( I already knew that) and They kept telling me to be quiet because I was moaning constantly and every once in a while Id scream when the pain became too much to bear anymore. The doctor eventually came in and told me they were going to give me antibiotics and eardrops. I asked why and he said for your ear infection ??? But they said I did not have one and I knew that I did not have one also.???? I know it's a rare nerve disease but if somebody had just talked to me and asked me where and how it was hurting and everything they might have just figured it out. Side note ,, not related to my story - I asked for and received my husband's emergency room bill from that location and got them to take off $1,200 worth of charges for services never received!!!! Just saying when you get your bill in the mail from the hospital itself call them and ask them for an itemized bill . you will be amazed how much they're charging for that Ibuprofen theyg you $86 1 pill!!¡!
