This place was amazing! Very professional. From the phone call I made to the point of sale then check out & delivery. Could not be a nicer group of people that all knew their stuff. They were beyond accommodating as far as delivery. Mine was a royal pain because the move date kept changing. The guys that did my installation were great to communicate with me on their ETA and lightening speed on the actual install. Before they left they made sure I understood everything & had no questions or concerns. Fast forward 9 mos. I needed a repair on my dryer (it stopped heating). I called & spoke to Stephen who was so friendly & apologetic. Not their fault, it's a machine, things happen. They have once again been easy to work with & very informative. I have scheduled the service (no charge) and they even had to provide me with my receipt. Again, amazing. I will continue to buy my appliances at TEXAS Appliance. We had a great experience at Texas Appliance this weekend. My son and I went in first just to check out some options and see some things in person. They let us look around and do our own thing which I appreciated. Then my husband and I went in after once we had narrowed it down to make a decision. We worked with Kimber, and she was awesome. Honest and straightforward about the options we were looking at and also was able to share timing with us and a number of other details. We feel like we got a good price and will get quick delivery as well. Even our protection plan will give us money back if we don't end up having to use it. I purchased a washer and dryer for my 87 year old mother as well as the 5 year extended warranty. Dryer stopped working so l called Texas Appliance who said l had to contact the warranty department online, I'm 68 and thought they handled the warranties in-house like Oliver Dyers does. Only reason l purchased it there is because my mother lives there. Been almost 2 weeks and still not fixed nor has anyone came by. Check out their website and see what's in stock before you venture to the store. They will tell you the "song and dance" that you can get xyz appliance by a certain timeline and the salesperson makes it seem like they have some "in" with various vendors to get the product. The reality is that they will take your money upfront and you'll be sitting around waiting forever for your appliances. We cancelled our order after a few months and bought everything "in stock" online. Oh...and for a better price. I'd suggest passing on Texas Appliance. They had a great deal on a grill. A big green egg and had it posted for $1100. When you go to check out they tell you oh no it doesn't include all that it includes the other base which is a really cheap base but if you want it like they have it set up for it's almost $2000. Talk about false advertising, but they didn't have a manager there that could help with the situation. Never heard of a store with no manager on duty. What a crap service in a crap store. I've spent a lot of money at this location and have purchased nearly every major appliance from the Hurst location. Are dishwasher (GE profile) went out two weeks ago (8/27). I went to their store the same day for a replacement. I wanted another GE profile since it has flood stop technology (it has a pan underneath to collect water in case there is a leak and it will shut the dishwasher down if the water gets to a certain level in the pan). They didn't have a profile series in stock but had a lower priced model. I wanted to verify that this model has the same protection against leaks - since our kitchen and living room had to be remodeled several years ago due to a dishwasher leak. They said it had the 'leak detection' technology. I got home and unboxed the dishwasher and there was no pan underneath it to collect the water - in case it had a leak. On top of that, they did not mention that I had to purchase a separate power supply even to get the dishwasher connect to power. I returned the item on the following Monday 8/29. They couldn't reimburse me for my purchase because the store manager was not there. But they did take possession of the dishwasher I had purchased. They said they would leave a note for her to call me back the next day. After she didn't call on Tuesday, I called back each day of the week, even leaving a voicemail for the managers extension. They never called me back that week. I had to call Amex, since I purchased it with their card. They have started an inquiry with Texas appliance, but it's been 2 weeks now, and they still have the dishwasher I purchased, and they've still yet to issue a refund. Horrible customer service- they do not honor their purchases online. A year ago I bought a blaze outdoor mini refrigerator for almost $2,000 along with an entire kitchen of appliances. A year later my outdoor refrigerator goes out. The appliance store says the circuit replacement will cost more than a new refrigerator. I go online and buy a new refrigerator and now they refuse to honor my purchase, stating the price was incorrect online. Just spent about four hours with Robin P, who served my family and I as we have just moved to TX and needed appliances for our new home. Robin was so knowledgeable and patient with we "three sisters" and helped us get the items we needed. I recommend shopping in person as you get the best service and can purchase the items that ARE AVAILABLE and ready to install. Also, we have been comparing prices for quite some time and Tx Appliance was competitive. At the end, Robin saved us about $500 overall which was great! With covid, most companies cannot predict "when" the supplies will arrive, so, as Robin advised, get what is "on hand" now - or it's gone. Pretty worthless as an appliance store. They didn't have the actual product in stock when they said they did. I had to look at online pictures and order it. It was delivered a week late. I had to reschedule a plumber. When a defective product was delivered ( none of the gas igniters worked and the knobs were misaligned) they said that since they didn't install it that I would have to deal directly with the manufacturer. So what did I get from this store? List price, late delivery and no support. Don't waste your time shopping here. read more

We tried purchasing some expensive Thermador appliances from the Hurst Texas Appliance location. After dealing with several sales people we were ready to make the purchase. When we showed up the sales person informed us the original quote was incorrect but he would fix it. He proceeded to bad mouth the previous salesperson (he had left), blaming him for the bad quote. Apparently we weren't a high enough priority to him as he went to go help someone else. We finally got a "correct" quote after more waiting. My wife and I went to lunch and discussed the customer service (or lack thereof). We decided to shop around and called Pacific Sales inside of BestBuy in Grapevine. They not only will match the price but beat it, and caught other mistakes that would have been an issue with installing the appliances. read more

I don't know where to start. I needed a refrigerator and a new oven/range. This experience with this place was in the range of 1 stars to 4 stars at times. I needed a new refrigerator. You can get a damn refrigerator anywhere but the price I got for this was amazing. I had a leaking old 80s used fridge that was about to destroy my year old laminate flooring so was a issue. The stove i had is from 1980 when my house was built and is a slide in. A burner that broke due to a knob that broke and burners that inconsistently worked and the grime and filth was impossible to clean without a professional cleaning service. My choices in the 21st century were to find a new slide in which there are not many made or do an expensive kitchen remodel just to put a free standing range. Due to the dumbass design of my kitchen and this design i was concerned about the depth of the refrigerators these days so it was either let it stick out farther in my hallway style kitchen or get a apartment style refrigerator which is more expensive so at least can take this fridge to a new home. I loved Frigidaire brands so stuck with both the fridge and oven. Before i got there, i took a picture of my stove. I was concerned about how a new stove could fit. I enter the place looking and a saleman approached me. I told him my needs and when I said concerns about what i want and what i need he wasn't interested in seeing my picture of my oven. Then he said they needed measurements what I have. Ok fine. Next Saturday a week later called me the day before to confirm 11-3, then Saturday called me 830 in the morning (wtf) and said the guys would come 11-3. 3pm came, 4 pm came and was like WTF my Saturday is ruined. Called them to say what is going on and said they were on thier way. That was 4pm, then 6pm comes and these two guys looked irritated. Luckily for guys like this in feel for people like this so no big deal. They litterally rip the stove off and took a few measurements and said we will let you know. They never did. I called next Friday and asked the saleman are we good? He said yes, I was waiting on you...wtf? This store cannot take payment over the phone or Internet. We are in 1976 i guess. Next weekend was the install day. The salesman said "im sorry I had the measurements backwards". Wtf again. The salesman and this store said they cannot due any modifications.Oh really? They have drop in, slide in and custom cabinet stoves but can't do any carpenter work? So said i needed 1/4 on each side and knew a guy that could help the customisation of the cabinets. I said the least they could do is deliver the fridge and they did that Sat so kudos there. The guy he recommended came out right after. I didn't have the measurements he asked me. Why the hell would i have them. I did have the specs from the stove and used that to measure and said it's fine. He wanted 25 bucks for service fee I wasn't going to fight so had to go get cash then called to the salesman and said it will fit fine according to him. Can't get my 25 bucks back wtf. Due to out of town had to wait 2 weeks for them to come out. Calls me up 2 Saturdays later and a truck broke down in Wetherford. What asshole went to Tarrant county to buy appliances and why after all I've been through wasn't first? Shit happens so had to wait ANOTHER Saturday. Im not taking off work for these guys. Saturday comes, damn stove is here and installer guy was acting odd and abrasive to his partner. I had to tell him to cool it. His partner apparently never used a fuckin breaker box before. He says the stove can't fit due to the board that was in front. No shit? I knew the stove looked too tall but measurement "experts" never said anything. They also noticed my stove was hardwired and said i also need a electriction but then said they could wire it so they left the stove in my living room and now it's time for me to play remodel guy so i got a saw out and cut out the board myself and cleaned out nasty, 40 some year old drywall and garbage left from when the house was built. I called back hoping they would come back out and said they didn't think so but would try so made an appointment for ANOTHER Saturday. Now we are approaching 2 months almost.Never called back then a guy comes out by suprise and wires it then said it will only go halfway in. I said I have some tools to sand or cut this wood trim in between the cabinets but he has a grinder and took some both sides and I got my sander then said he had an appointment so it was up to myself to finish the job and did. It finally went back but it lifted up due to the size of the stove hitting my wood flooring that was installed last year but that info was never brought up to me. So my choices now are to get the flooring guys to cut out the boards or build a trim kit over it as it is not flush and raised up Bottom line, pain in the ass place to deal with and never listened to my concerns. We were remolding our Kitchen and I made the purchase a few months before the demolition started because of custom cabinets. I explained the delay in installation and the salesperson said that shouldn't be an issue. Appliances were delivered to my storage until and 4 month later we go to install and there were a couple of issues. Because the purchase was over 30 days, they will not take the appliances back, happy to sell me more appliances, but now I'm stuck trying to sell the appliance the didn't work and waiting on service for the microwave that stop working after a week. Unfortunately I can't give a half star because people showed for work. We pre shopped appliances for a new house and were told if we bought everything needed from them, they'd offer a "significant" discount. After choosing Kitchen Aid kitchen appliances and a GE washer and dryer we got the grand total, almost $13k. We then mentioned the "significant" which had to be approved by the manager. The sales consultant "Steven King" went asked and came back the total discount. It was 2.3% coming in at $250. We asked to speak to the manager about the definition of SIGNIFICANT while explaining that even big box stores offered veterans a 10% discount. Basically told "that's the best we can do" and that Oliver Dyer (also an appliance store in Ft. Worth I'd never heard of) couldn't do any better". They were so dang rude, we left and went to their suggestion Oliver Dyer.....Thank you! Martin at Oliver Dyer gave us an upgraded dryer because the one we were getting was discontinued, a larger fridge (yes, there bigger ones) and took over $1500 off the total. In conclusion, it wasn't all about the discount, it was also the we don't care if you stay or leave attitude from their manager and the sales consultant. All that to say DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TEXAS APPLIANCE, they could careless about your appliance needs. read more

We have purchased appliances from them in the past but that will never happen again. I was charged a "restocking fee" for an incorrect appliance I was sold. I explained to my sales person exactly what our set up was for an icemaker. I expected that he would have enough knowledge to sell me the right machine. When it turned out to be the wrong machine, I was apologized to and told that they would lower my restock from from 50% down to 10%. I talked to the manager and was told that I needed to take responsibility. So I had to pay $400 to them for their own sales person's incompetence. Just a quick follow up about my experience with Texas Appliance from 4/17/17. I was contacted by Steve O, and we talked for awhile. Towards the end of our conversation he said he would call me back on Tuesday the 18th after he researched my issue. Guess what? No return call... imagine that... Steve, when you read this you might advise the sales staff no where does it say on my return receipt it takes 3 to 5 business days. Kimber told me that. She said "it says it takes 3 to 5 business and that depends on how long it takes my bank." WTF??? That is BS! There are Federal Regulations on transactions like this. The 3 to 5 businesses days is how long it takes your accounting department to process the credit and get it to my bank. Banks can't hold this type of transaction! Once again, this isn't my first rodeo. I give a 0 out of 5 stars. read more

We made the drive out to Texas Appliance, over 20 miles, because we knew they carried a large inventory of refrigerators on the floor. This was our second and last trip we will ever make here. We already knew what brand we wanted so we called ahead to ensure they had several options available to view on the floor. The salesperson on the phone seemed to be friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived at the store, we asked for the same salesperson. Understandably, she was with another client. We were happy to look around until she was available. A different salesperson approached us and said the lady we were waiting on was going to be a while and offered her help. Which was fine, except this salesperson could not answer any questions and could barely read the tag that was on each refrigerator. Perhaps we were naïve, when we came to a store named, "Texas Appliance," we assumed we would be able to ask simple questions and get answers on why one refrigerator was better than the other. We made the mistake of also speaking to this salesperson regarding washer and dryers. She was unable to provide assistance in this department either. We were never approached by the original salesperson, even though we spent quite a bit of time here. Frustrated buy their apparent lack of training, we drove to the nearby Pacific Kitchen and Home. Within the hour, we purchased a Kitchenaid refrigerator plus an LG Washer and Dryer from a salesperson who was obviously trained in both her product as well as customer service. We worked with a great salesperson. Nice selection and excellent pricing. Bought pretty much a whole kitchen for our remodel. We found out later after the appliances were delivered that we needed a countertop size refrigerator. No problem. They had the same model and could get it to us in two days. Excellent! Only problem I had was they charge a 25% restocking fee. They knocked it down to under $500 after I complained but would not eliminate the charge. Lowe's and Home Depot don't charge a restocking fee for unopened appliances. Great prices but hope you don't have to return anything. read more

I proceeded to look around, taking pictures of the stove/range that I liked but no one asked to help me. I guess they did not want my money. I purchased a dishwasher and a waste disposal from Texas Appliance on 11/13. They were delivered on the 11/18. It is now 12/19 and the disposal is still spraying water all over the cabinet. Anyone can sell you an appliance but not everyone can install one. Do not use their people to install your appliance. read more

We have been shopping for a refrigerator and we had picked out a brand and model of refrigerator. The wife reminded me of the Texas Appliance advertisement of "We're not from Nebraska" and so we called Texas Appliance and while on the phone were told that "We match prices to beat any deal." Their price for the model in question was over $2,600 before taxes, delivery, warranty, etc. Amazon had the same model for $1,899 and when I mentioned that was told, "Oh we don't match online prices, only local retailer prices." The people from Nebraska had the same model for $1,997. I was told they could match that, so I was ready to drive over and ink the deal, when I was reminded to verify the price of delivery and setup - so I called back. Speaking to the same person on the phone I was then told that they couldn't "match the price" after all. As one of the main, major advertising point at present on local TV is that they will beat the "people from Nebraska", be aware they really don't. Thank goodness I called back, the drive to their location would have been substantial time loss for me. At least they were nice enough to save me the drive to their store! Maybe next time. read more

Purchased a microwave less than two months ago, now it has malfunctioned. They gave me the name and number of a business that would repair it, I called them. I was then told I had to call the manufacturer so I did. My microwave is built into my cabinets. Manufacturer stated mine was not one that qualified for home repair! Texas appliance did NOT inform me at the time of purchase they would make it good WITHIN a 30 day period. I will not continue to be a customer. read more

Extremely disappointed... purchased a washer and dryer here on Thursday and they told us it would be delivered the following week on Wednesday... they called us today (the day before it's suppose to be delivered) only to tell us Maytag has discontinued the washer and dryer but we can buy the one off the floor... which I remembered wasn't in that good shape so I asked if there was a discount for the floor model and the guy said he would take off $50...what a joke! The washer and dryer itself was $899 and the delivery was an additional $75... that wouldn't even cover the delivery. When I asked why we weren't informed the day of or even over the weekend they didn't seem to care one bit about the whole situation. So grateful for TX Appliance great customer service. We purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer which have excellent reviews. Both came out of the box with problems. They immediately replaced the dryer and worked through sending out repairman and then replaced washing machine. I am confident in the brand and for some reason got lemons first round. I dont know how a company such as the one can keep pytting off delivery when a item was paid for back in May 18 this year and cant be deliver on time.Well they keep a 70 & 80 yr.old couple with out a fridge for 8 days when when the bought it in May and one of them have a Medical issue and all they offer is a $100 off of there order then they gave them a loner for 5 day what company dose this to a senior citizens. I am not happy with their customer service. All nice and pleasant until you purchase the appliances and then they are done with you. They blame the manufacturer for everything and when the supervisor states he will do what he can - he does nothing. It would not even surprise me if he made a phone call at all on my behalf. I purchased a new stove, microwave, fridge and dishwasher from them. The stove was on a three month back order and then when I finally got it delivered it went out on me in three months now the part has taken another month to come in. Let's not mention it was Christmas time where I cook the meal for my family which was interesting with no oven. The warranty company called and we set a appointment up for Friday only to have them call us to lie about what our conversation was the Tuesday prior to install the control panel that had gone out on the oven and when I called Texas Appliance back I was only told they could not do anything. Even I picked up on the phone call to the warranty company that they record all calls and I asked them to review the call which in turn proved I was correct about the appointment but of course they would not honor the date and I am now waiting until next Tuesday to get the oven fixed. You would think the supervisor if he did call the warranty company would know they record all the calls. Let me miss a 1/2 day of work because of your I DO NOT CARE ATTITUDE. I am in the sales business and understand things can go wrong but when products are costing the consumer twice what the product should cost and they are being made with cheaper material you would expect the place you purchased them from to be a little more accommodating. I'd like to recommend her as one of the very best sales people selling washer and dryers. Once in the store we talked more about the different brands and models as she is very knowledgeable about each machine. Through her recommendation and Texas Appliance extending me a sale's price from the month before I decided to buy.
