Because of the office's terrible communication, my sister drove one hour and 30 minutes to get her to this appointment. My sister is my daughter's legal guardian, and we had the paperwork on hand to prove it. Despite their scheduling team explicitly telling us ahead of time that she was clear to bring my daughter, the office refused to see her. They claimed the appointment had to be rescheduled because I was not physically present and was only on the phone. When I spoke to a staff member named Selena to ask where I could immediately send the legal guardianship paperwork, she refused. She falsely claimed that the appointment time had already been passed by 40 minutes, which was completely inaccurate. When I confronted her about the fact that their own scheduling team told us this was fine, Selena admitted that they constantly have problems with their scheduling team. When I asked why they still use them, she casually responded that they "can't just fire them." To top off the entire unprofessional interaction, she repeatedly called me "Mrs. Gordon," which is not my last name. They turned away a child with severe autism who traveled hours for help, all because of their own staff errors and a total refusal to look at legal guardianship papers. Avoid this office if you expect basic competence, professional communication, or care for disabled children.

I've had the same doctor for 10 years. My doctor ended up moving to New York, so I had to find a new pain management doctor. I had met Dr. Mishra one time before after seeing him after a car accident. I was so impressed with his bedside manner and how personable he was that I decided to switch to his office. I understand seeing a new doctor for pain management that it is standard to do a urine drug screen. I have no issue with drug screens. I take a drug screen and pass no problem. Dr. Mishra prescribes my meds and I follow up the next month. Unbeknownst to me I am scheduled with his nurse practitioner. When she comes into the room to see me she is abrupt, short and overall just rude. She tells me I have to take another drug screen in order to get my meds for next month. Again, totally fine with me. she calls to tell me a few days later that I failed my drug screen. To say I was shocked was an understatement! I explained that wasn't possible and demanded a retest. She said that I would retest next month and they would give me a one time pass on this. I demanded not to see her anymore and to see Dr. Mishra. My next appointment was scheduled with Dr. Mishra. Again, I took a drug screen and passed. The next appointment was again scheduled with his nurse practitioner. I, again had no idea that I was scheduled with her until the appointment took place. When she came into the room, she again was rude, short and questioning me about failing my drug screen. I honestly felt I was being incriminated by the police. I told her I had no idea why I failed as I've never failed in over a decade. She told me my numbers were so high that there was no way that it was an accidental failure. I explained that my previous drug screen was clear so how did that happen? She could not explain why I failed profusely and then passed. She again demanded a drug screen for that days visit. Again, I complied, as I know there is no reason for me to fail. she called me a few days later to tell me I failed and they would be releasing me as a patient. I again was completely shocked! I asked her why every time I see her I seem to fail, but when I see Dr. Mishra I pass. She asked me what I was implying, to which I said, I honestly don't know... she again told me my numbers were so high. There was no way this was an accident. I told her I demanded a hair follicle test, a blood test, or any other way to determine that I truly failed. She said she could not accommodate that as their office does not do that. I immediately called my other Doctor Who ordered the drug screen hair follicle test. Shocker, I passed with flying colors! Since this nightmare of a situation, I have been seeing a new pain management doctor. For six months with my new doctor, I have not failed a drug screen! I have never been accused or treated the way I was from his Nurse practitioner. If you are going to question somebody of using and they demand a blood and hair follicle test to prove that they do not use and you do not accommodate that shame on you!! Clearly if I was using, I would not demand extra testing. I asked to speak to Dr. Mishra and she told me she could not allow that. She told me he was busy with patients. I asked her to have him call me back to which she said she would. Of course I never received a callback from Dr. Mishra. I was extremely disappointed, as I genuinely liked Dr. Mishra and recommended him to several friends of mine. It's unfortunate that he is so amazing and his Nurse practitioner is so awful. She will end up to be the demise of his office. Do not waste your time with this office, or if you do demand to make sure and not see his nurse practitioner.

The next day, I got multiple calls and text messages from their office saying that they need to collect my insurance information. I wasn't able to answer right away and they kept calling over and over and leaving different messages, including one message that said my appointment was being canceled because my drivers license is expired (it isn't). I called them again and they confirmed my insurance is valid. Went in for the appointment and the receptionist tries to get me to "Self pay" and says I don't have valid insurance. Had to provide the insurance a 3rd time before they finally acknowledged it. I got as far as seeing the medical assistant. I showed her my most recent MRI and a stack of medical records going back 2 years. She quickly told me that the doctor wasn't going to be able to help me and I left. Never saw the doctor. Also their office is full of red flags, like advertisements for laser hair removal, ketamine injections, Regenexx ads all over the place (which is not a proven treatment and is experimental at best), something called the O-shot for woman sexual improvement. I feel stupid for going here.

I called several times after seeing the doctor for my 91 year old mother to get the next steps done for her epidural and they never call back or respond to the cardiologist office who also contacted them. Terrible office staff and unfortunately I will take my mother somewhere else because I will not deal with the terrible, disorganized and lack of help in the office.

I'm by no means a drug seeker, but have been on a drug that has worked with me for the past decade. Dr. Rai was very professional and honest about his inability to help me switch from my current pain managment provider and have him continue my medication. He did make sure that my co-pay was refunded before I left the office. While, he could not help me, I do have respect for him since he was straightforward and honest. I do wish they would be more upfront about their practice's inability to prescribe controlled pain medication so that others know ahead of time.

However they were able to make an appointment within a few days. For the consultation, the doctor seemed very confident that he knew what the problem was and suggested doing an injection. Did not discuss any other possible treatments (i.e. medication), just insisted the next step was to come back for an injection. I went for the injection and it went fine. I had more pain for the next 7 days than I did before coming in, and after that I felt no pain relief at all. I came in for my scheduled follow-up appointment and was exactly on time. I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes and then came out to remind them that I was waiting and that it was 30 minutes past my appointment time. The person there said something like "oh you're probably next". I told them I had another appointment after this and could not just wait around indefinitely. I waited another 10 minutes and still no doctor showed up. I decided that I could not stay any longer as they were well past the appointment time. I asked if we can reschedule for a less busy time. They said the next available appointment is 30 days out! I asked if they think it's right that the doctor did not show for my appointment and now I have to wait 30 days for another chance? The scheduler told me that even if I come in after 30 days, the doctor may still be not on-time that day and that I have to just sit there and wait. At this point I decided to just leave and go someplace else. Their treatment was not effective at all, their office staff is impossible to get a hold of since they don't answer the phone or return messages, and if they can't keep their appointments then it's really a deal-breaker for me. There are plenty of other doctors
