The pa's there are a joke. They could care less if you've been without your medication for weeks. My prescriptions are constantly called in late, you try to talk to them about your medication and how it doesn't work, all they do is raise your dose, and don't listen to you about the medication not working. They are only there for money. That's it!! The counseling sessions are only 5 minutes long. They rush you, so they can hurry up to the next person. They are quick to label you as a drug addict if you ask for something stronger. This place is a freaking joke. Dr. Ocheing and Tariq sucks. I'm sorry. I changed doctors thank God and going to someone else who actually cares. Stay far away from this place. read more

I have been a patient at this office since 2018. Recently my provider left and it has been a NIGHTMARE. My prescriptions are constantly being called into the wrong pharmacy, my provider has been late by close to 10 minutes to the few appointments I've had (even though it's the 8 am appointment). Recently I changed medications and when I was due for my refill I contacted the office via the chat on a Tuesday. My prescriptions still had not been called I on Thursday so I reached out again, turns out my provider wanted me to have a two week follow up, which I have NEVER heard of. This was not communicated to me by the provider, nor was an appointment scheduled. No one from the offices called me to tell me that the prescriptions were not going to be called in, I had to reach out to find this out. I spoke to the MA on Thursday and she was also very confused as to why I needed a two week follow up. She made me an appointment to come in sooner and said she would ask if a partial refill could be called in so I could make it to my appointment. She didn't call me back on Thursday, but on Friday one of my prescriptions was called into the wrong pharmacy AGAIN. I called and put in a request to have it fixed and to receive a call back about the partial refill. Still nothing. Now it's the weekend and I'm experiencing withdraw symptoms from my one medication. It is amazing how incompetent this office has become. I don't know if it was always like this or if I was just lucky with the original provider I had. Patients should not be treated like this. More needs to be done with a provider or the office drops the ball. Patient care should always be a top priority and clearly it isn't. I truly appreciate the care provided by Texas Behavioral Health. Julie Wilcutt and Dr. Tariq are fantastic in their professionalism and empathy. I appreciate everything they have done to help me improve my life. My relationships and overall outlook on life have improved with the help of the tools I have learned here. If you call, you might get put on hold due to the high call volume. However, I always hear back within the day, so you will need to be patient. read more

First of all DO NOT GO HERE if your on any type of scheduled meds. Psychiatrist appt for medication management for a 2x stroke victim on alprazolam. I was pre-judged and labeled a Xanax addict before I saw my psychiatrist who I will not name out of respect since I'm clearly the only professional person in this case. I was told "sorry they did you a disservice by putting you on this medication, you should go through your insurance and find a rehab facility." I paid over $220.00 thinking I was going to get someone who cared about my well being, who was going to help me taper down to a "safe dosage". My strokes happened at 18 and 19 years old... I'm now in my mid 30's and have never experienced anything like this. Terrible practitioners, horrible experience. I'm now experiencing very high anxiety/ panic attacks at the moment and will be until I find a good practice/ doctors office that doesn't want me to have another seizure. Mind you I've tried and succeeded to go down 1mg on my own and it resulted in my first ever seizure/ hospitalization for a concussion, ( which has had a terrible effect on my life in many ways) including daily tension headaches and more but who cares anyways. They didn't want to see any official paperwork and I have a binder full. Oh and not to mention I've been prescribed this medication since 2014-2015 and never wanted to be on it in the first place. Thanks Texas behavioral for profiling and judging a human being because I surely wasn't treated like one. This individual wanted nothing to do with me. I had to insist to stay and give more info because this person wanted me out of my session asap. I couldn't say anything more than it's my fault for having a stroke, and being on this medication. 0 starts. This should be illegal. I need a real person to help me through this crisis. Also just got a robo call from my insurance company so I'm positive my information and identity has been compromised. All highly illegal. Stay away if you value your life. read more

Do NOT go here. It is horrible. We had a great person working with us but messages never got to her and I spent 3 weeks trying to get my son's medicine refilled and no one would call call me back. It's unreal that patients who require medicine to function are treated this way. I called every single day for a week with no call back. After 3 weeks, I was really upset and constantly asked for the person we were working with to call me back and nothing. They do not take patient's health and well being seriously. I was trying to make an appointment and I did not even get past the phone calls. The entire system is so impersonal and bizarre. I called to make an appointment. Without explanation asked for my name and number. Then said, someone will call you back. Then got another phone call (I think it was the same guy...) who asked for my insurance then said someone will call us to make an appointment. They called the next day and I missed the call (But I also think it was the same guy as before who left me a message!). When I called back, I had to go through the entire process again. The man I spoke to never explained how the office or appointment request works and he spoke broken English and was difficult to understand. I told him this is not the best place for us and that we are not interested anymore. They continue to call! Definitely not a good first impression...especially when dealing with mental health. Dr. Quan is really great and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They are also quite responsive when I've needed to reach the physician by phone. The wait time has never been long, still, the physician takes time with you and answers all questions. read more

I am not a fan. I assumed that there would be some discussion about issues that I am experiencing, not just how is the medicine doing. Ok here is a prescription only slightly changed.... come back in two weeks. To me it seems like they are just trying to get as many appointments in as possible. I go in and pay my copay for a 5 minute consultation with a PA that in my opinion doesn't know what she is talking about. She told me that the diagnosis that I have gotten from three other doctors, not PAs, is incorrect. Spends no time with me trying to get to the issue or alleviate any of the emotional problems I am experiencing. When I told her that I was also under a great deal of stress, she didn't even ask what it was. Seemed totally disinterested. I also am hard of hearing and have to ask her to speak up repeatedly. And I don't mean once or twice, I mean 5-6 times during a 5 minute consultation. I will be checking with my insurance carrier to see if there is another place I can go to soon. read more

Being stuck with them, unable to get an appt. with my old doctor here we go again! They advised me to up my dose and I said that I would be out of my meds by Monday if I did that. Reassured me that they would make sure they sent in the prescription Monday. I called the pharmacy they did not have anything. At 3 PM called office and was told it was sent in but had an error it would be fixed. Called back at 4 30 was told the same thing and reassured me again that they would call the provider and call back today to let me know it was taken care of. They didn't do one thing. This is the absolute worst ran office. Oh, and I spoke with my insurance and was told you only pay what the fee says on your insurance card. With that being said $60 and again for my 10 min session the receptionist says 120. I said I am only paying the $60. Two weeks ago she tried to charge 149.00. I guess she makes the prices up depending on her mood. Ah well yea! read more
